Vance gave me the best haircut i have ever had. At first I was a little annoyed becuase she went on and on about how bad my hair was and the gave me the long list of products I needed from Visible Changes to make my hair better. I understand their job includes raising the ticket price, but say it then move on. I have always gotten excellent haircuts at this location and will not go anywhere else. I will follow Vance as high as she goes because she is the best. She was very concerned with how I felt during and after my cut and did not want to make a mistake. Visible changes is lucky to have her. For the first time in my life I am looking forward to the next time I can get my hair cut. The desk staff is usually not friendly at this locaton, but I can look past that in order to get a good cut. I thought they were expensive, but you get what you pay for. Go to Supercuts and see how you look. Every level at Visible changes has talent and I always go with the least expensive. Sometime a higher rank with take you at the lower price to get their stats up. One thing I don't like about Visible changes is that they charge $3 to put conditioner in your hair. If they shampoo, they should condition. And stylists, if you want to work with more managable hair throw the conditioner in for free. Also, Vance, several stylist run the flat iron thru the top layer of hair to finish the look. When I asked you about it you said the charge starts at $11. I've been going regularly to Visible Changes for about a year now and JASMINE is the one who ALWAYS does my color. I absolutely love the different colors she adds to my hair and they are very complimentary to my skin tone. She is friendly and always gives her best in each appt. Pros: Always up to date with the new colors, cuts and trends Cons: Can be a bit pricey at times but well worth the $$ more

i always go to visible changes but i especially loved Vance Le. she was so sweet and funny. i love my haircut so much and i definately recommend her. but overall visible changes is amazing. more

I have been using this VS for a very long time! I have known Julie and Sylvia for 10yrs + now and I would not go anywhere else. Julie for color is the only person I would trust my hair with and will not let anyone else touch it! Once I went to another location (and they were very nice) but my color was just horrible! Not anything like Julie. I just kept saying, ""It's not like Julie does it!"". The mgr was very couteous and said there was no charge, just go back to Julie and let her fix it - and she did! I was living in Nashville for 2 yrs and even flew back to Houston just so Julie could color my hair!\r \r Also for a cut I would recommend Sylvia to anyone! She is so wonderful, friendly and always knows just the right thing to do - even when I don't know what exactly it is that I want! (She is very young and beautiful too! LOL!) \r \r Thanks so much Julie and Sylvia - I love you guys! Please don't ever leave or I will have to stalk you! Everyone at this location is wonderful and always remember who you are! After getting a bad haircut elsewhere, I had a vanity-induced meltdown... crying, frustrated, self-pitying tantrum. I called to make an appointment with Shana, who had given me my last memorably good haircut. She was instantly sympathetic--a real good-Samaritan of hair. When I mentioned my openness to color, she put me into Ashley's care and the appointment desk people rearranged things to let me get both color and cut in the same day. She trusts Ashley for a good reason. I got a really hip contrast of slightly darker all-over color and trendy highlights in just the right places. Then, Shana corrected the bad cut, and took lots of time to boost my self-esteem... leaving the chair, she offered the opinion, ""That's hot, mama!"" And I agreed. Even if I have to completely rearrange my budget, I will be in their chairs every six weeks from now on. Shana said she can even help me grow it back out without the agonizing bad-looking middle stages. I believe her and offer updates to this review as necessary. Pros: Able to serve clients who don't know what they want or who can't explain it. Cons: Takes a bite out of your finances if you're used to a low-budget cut, but tip 20% anyway. more

I live out of town, but always come back to Visible Changes for my color and haircuts. Amanda is great at blonde highlights and newcomer Vance Le gave me the haircut I wanted. Great service! more

I have always had long hair and have wanted to get a short cut that would go good with my face. I went to Visible Changes to Master Stylist Imelda. She cut and styled it even better than what I could imagine. It's like she could read my mind. I explained how I wanted it to look and it did. I have received so many compliments since my cut in July 08'. I drive all the way from Sugar Land, Texas to Baybrook Mall to see Imelda. You should give her a try. She can cut really fast and great with razor cuts and the current styles. I love my hairstylists. Kudos to Imelda. more

I love my Visible Changes Baybrook Mall...whether it is Carrie doing my color, Terry or Curtis doing my hair styles they are simple the most professional and loving personnel I have ever encountered. I have been going to VC for 15 years and have never been dissappointed by anyone. I feel like a queen when I am there and beautiful when I leave. Curtis is a great stylist and a great friend. He is truly an artist that knows just what to do and how to do it where my hair is concerned. I am always satisfied with his service. My hair has a mind of its own, but Curtis has a way of cutting and styling it so it easy for me to maintain and control. As I age my hair thins, grays, and changes texture. Curtis' artwork brings life, fullness, and an actual style to it. He listens to my concerns and desires, then incorporates his skill to leave me looking ten times better than when I walked in. I feel blessed to even know him as a friend who cares about me looking and feeling my best. He creates ""visible changes"" for me every time I visit! Pros: Service is great. I have been going to Jasmine for a few years now and no one knows what I want like she does. I come in give her a few details and let her do her magic. She is truly an artist who turns my hair into a masterpiece each and everytime. I have referred Jasmine all of my friends and family and anyone who compliments my hair on the street. :) and I know every woman likes to receive compliments. Oh my goodness I haven't even mentioned what a great shampoo job Jasmine gives too! I love it when I'm stressed and she gives me a head massage while she shampoos me. I've actually fallen asleep a couple of times! Trust me if you don't need a colorist you still need Jasmine to shampoo you ... especially if you have 10 minutes to spare. This is coming from someone who doesn't have time to spare. I work on the other side of town but I always make time to see Jasmine. Too bad she doesn't work at the Woodlands or the Galleria location or she would have all my coworkers as well. Jasmine ... you have found a customer for life. Pros: Great results, advice and people. Jasmine has been doing my hair color for almost a year now. I don't know what I'm going to do wihtout her when I move. She is absolutely wonderful. Friendly, professional, and just flat out good at what she does! I had never had luck when it came to hair color treatment and once I found her I haven't tried another. It had been about 3 years since I had seen Carey, and after much frustration of my own coloring ability I made an appt. Boy am I glad I did. I have been going to see my friend Chrstina for a long time. She does an awesome job. Jasmine is a great colorist. The staff is always super nice and friendly. I've never had a problem. I'd recommend everyone go. more

I moved to Houston in 2003 and I started going to the stylist of my mother in law because I didnt know where else to go, after more than a few unsatisfactory cuts and color I decided to go somewhere else. I went to Visible Changes @ Baybrook and have had nothing but good service and more than satisfactory results. My colorist Jasmine seems to always know what to do with my color and what sort of products I might need. I have had a few different people style/cut my hair and have had a great success, however the cost for a style/cut in my opinion is a little high. I will continue with Visible Changes because of the service and because of the days and hours. I work 9-5 Mon-Fri and its nice to be able to have my hair done after work or on Sunday morning if I want. \r Jasmine always makes time for me and I very much appreciate that, in these times of every one making you stand in line for everything and anything it is very nice to know I can have these services when its convenient for ME. Every male person who cares about his hair must have the same problem. If you just spend a couple of bucks at the salons you can find in strip malls or so the result is usually the same: bad, boring style, no thrills, dissatisfaction\r You want to have it differently? Go to Visible Changes at the Baybrook Mall, ask for service and enjoy. You will see the difference. I have been a customer for more than two years and think that in particular Adriana is one of the best stylists you can get. I was well served, got style recommendations that perfectly fit, and last but not least the quality was always perfect. I always booked through Internet and was usually served in time. One hint to the Visible Changes team: Get somebody else to wash a customer's hair if the stylist is still busy. \r Overall experience: Outstanding! more

Been going there for years. My first time was not the best time not because of the customer service but cause i had not found the right hair stylist yet. But greatly after my fourth time there i found "" A really GREAT person"" i only did not just like how she did my hair but i loved how she treated me..Ever since then"" i knew she was the one to come to"". Her name Adriana, kind, friendly and always a smile on her face. i would 100% recomend her to anyone not just men but women 2. So if your thinking of trying a new look or tired of your same haircut i would stop to Visible Changes first than anywhere else and ask for Adriana. more

I've been to Visible Changes twice now. The first time I was very pleased with the haircut and the stylist. I saw Patricia, and I very much recommend her. However, I just got back from my second time there and it was not a good experience. I was running late for my 12:30 appointment so I called to let them know and they said fine, no problem. Well, I got there and they said since I was late the person with an appointment after me had already gotten there and I would have to wait until 1:30 for the next available appointment. I explained that I had called and would have appreciated being told this on the phone so I could change my plans and all the person at the counter said was, ""Oh"". So I walked around the mall until 1:30, not a big deal, and came back for my now 1:30 appointment (I arrived 5 minutes early this time). I was told she was running a little behind but it wouldn't be long. After waiting over 30 minutes I went back to the desk and was greeted with lots of attitude. I asked one person how much longer it would be and was given a very rude ""I don't know, ask them!"" When I finally got an answer, they told me it would be about 15-20 more minutes before I was even shampooed. So that's 45 minutes after my new appointment time?? There was no apology, no sorry, no nothing. Just attitude, and a go sit down. I told them to cancel my appointment and went to another salon where they were much friendlier!! In all, the haircut at Visible Changes is good but don't expect a lot of friendly customer service. There were several other people there who said they had been waiting a long time also so I was not alone. My guess is that they overbook to get as many people in as possible and then make everyone wait once they get there. i would expect that at a Supercuts or something where you don't have appointments but when you make an appointment I don't expect to wait 45 minutes to be shampooed! Pros: Haircut was great, Patricia is great Cons: Customer Service was horrible, be prepared to wait more
