I USED TO SEE A BARBER FOR MY HAIR, AS EVERY MAN USUALLY DOES. UNTIL I STARED TO CHANGE MY STYLE, I DECIDED THAT I NEEDED TO CHANGE MY CUT ALSO. SO I VISITED THE VISIBLE CHANGES IN THE BAYBROOK MALL. EVERYONE IN THE SALON WAS VERY FRIENDLY, I WALKED UP TO GET AN APPOINTMENT AND WAS GREETED WITH A SMILE, WHICH MADE ME FEEL WELCOMED SCINCE I WOULD NORMALLY GET INTIMIDATED BY A SALON THAT IS KNOWN MORE FOR GREAT WOMENS HAIRCUTS (AS TOLD BY MY GIRLFRIEND WHO IS A CLIENT) , AND THAT THE GIRLS IN THE FRONT ARE VERY BEAUTIFULL! THEY SET ME UP WITH AN APPOINTMENT WITH VERY LITTLE WAIT, WHEN THEY CALLED ME UP I WAS SURPRISED THAT MEN ALSO GET A SHAMPOO..AND THE GIRL USED A SHAMPOO THAT MADE MY HAIR FEEL COOL AND MINTY ..SHE USED A HOT TOWEL OVER FOR A COUPLE OF MINUITES...I SURE FELT LIKE GOING TO SLEEP THEN. THE HAIRSTYLIST THAT CUT MY HAIR WAS GREAT! SHE GAVE ME THE BEST HAIRCUT I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME..I'VE SCINCE BEEN BACK WITH HER AND LOVE EACH VISIT EVERYTIME IT IS NEVER DISSAPOINTING..I RECOMEND ANYONE WHO WANTS A GREAT HAIRCUT TO VISIT THIS LOCATION. Pros: FRIENDLY STAFF, GREAT HAIRCUTS, GREAT LOCATION, CLEAN RESTROOMS, MY STYLIST IS ALWAYS ON TIME. Cons: HAVE NOT FOUND ANY YET. more

After a horrible horrible cut from a sylist there, I went back and sat in Lindseys chair. She has been working to correct the damage done. She is amazing and listed to exactly what I wanted. It was in fact even and the best cut I have recieved form this place. I will continue to go there and will use Lidsey M. \r There is an amazing colorist there too.. think her name was Anna. more

Kim has been doing my hair for a few years now, and i love it everytime! she knows what i like and what i dont like.. when i sit in her chair i let her do anything she wants because i trust her. I really didnt have a regular stylist for my haircut. I used to just see whoever was available and kim recommended me to see Elizabeth, she said i would like her, so i did. As soon as i sat on elizabeth's chair she made me feel like if she had known me for years. She was very nice and sweet, and had me laughing the whole time. She also explained the different ways i could style my new cut. kim and elizabeth work great toghether. I thank kim for recommending elizabeth for my cut. I really love my hair!! Pros: The million and one compliments i get when i leave the salon. Cons: The receptionist can be bit snooty, and get appointments wrong but are getting better. more

If you want great color and highlights go to Jasmine, she's got experience and listens to her customers. She's been doing my hair for about a year now, she's always got a smile on her face, and will always give you what you ask for. Jasmine is great and I highly recommend her. more

I have been going to Visible Changes for over 7 years. Through those years, I have stayed true to 3-4 hairstylists and have had positive experiences 90% of the time. A couple of months ago I was straped for time and in dire need of a trim. I went into the Baybrook Mall location as a walk-in and was set up with Lindsey M. I told her I wanted a trim, and before I knew what was going on, she had given me a ""man cut."" It was waaaay too short! She said her mother had the same haircut. I did not want her mother's hairstyle--I am in my 30s. It was the worst haircut I have ever received. Besides being too short, it was very uneven. The grow-out period has been the longest ever. Beware! Do not sit down in Lindsey M.'s chair! You will regret it. more

I went to VS because, like others, hadn't quite found the right stylist for me. Then one day on a whim, I was walking around the mall and went to VS and was assigned to TINA-who did an amazing job with my hair! I will definitely go back to her, worth the extra for a MASTER stylist. I thought the only way to correct my bad haircut was to chop it all off but she convinced me that I could keep the length without sacrificing style-I have received compliments that I look younger and trendier-so cool! She did push products, but was polite when I declined. The one and only thing I don't like about the salon is the HAIR ON THE FLOOR-it is GROSS to walk through other people's cut hair and I have yet to see anyone sweep between clients and it truly irks me. Outside of that MAJOR complaint, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair except TINA! more

So I used to get my haircut from Patricia but she left so someone recommended that I go to Adrina. \r She was absolutely great! She listened and PAID ATTENTION to what I wanted her to do to my hair. \r Get you haircut from her!! Pros: She listened! Cons: waiting time is terrible! more

I have long hair and always hesitate to get my hair done because people cut too much. I like to keep it healthy and strong though. Angel was recommended by everyone who worked there. He seemed to ""be born with scissors in his hands""! My hair was still long and the cut was modern and he even showed me how to style my curly hair at home. He was not too pushy with the products either. He was nice and talented and I am happy to find someone who can cut long hair. Kimm colored my hair and the color fit my skintone perfectly. She knew not to go too red or too dark. The consultation and honesty about my hair makes me want to go back. Worth the price. more

I love getting my hair cut by my favorite stylist Elizabeth! She has been cutting my hair for a few years now and I have followed her from Almeda to Baybrook and am so happy she is closer now. Once it had been a couple of months since my last haircut and I wanted it cut the same way and she remembered everything. If i happen to have a picture of the style I like she can do it and then she'll make suggestions to make it even better. She even gives me tips on how to style it myself. I like that I can just trust her and not have to worry about my hair. I always get compliments on my new style! If you're ever in the Baybrook area or even if you're not I suggest getting your hair cut and styled by Elizabeth. Pros: So friendly and helpful more

My entire life since i was i child ive hated haircuts. I've actually never liked getting them and if i could cut my hair i would , but we all know that dosent go. Her names CHritina a MASTER hair cutter which i thinks ironic because that just describes her and labels her best. Shes amazing anythings possible any look /hair style/ modern /old or a totally NEW she can do it . Shes down right a genuine person whos unique and knows what shes doing. I look forward to my next hair cut with her from the shampoo bowl to sitting in her chair chair and just having a really good time. AND a plus i come out looking amazing and feel great about any hair style i wish . She not only gives you (THE BEST HAIR CUTTING EXPERIENCE) she goes out of her wat to make conversation and just make you have a good time.Since i loved the experience i let it be known that shes the person to see for any event. For years I've searched for a stylist that would take an idea I had of what I wanted my hair to look like and make them their own, add a little bit more ""flare"" to what I had in mind...a true artist, of sorts...and for years, I've been disappointed and unhappy. UNTIL I went to Visible Changes! I have always heard great things about Jazmine and Christina, so I booked an appointment with both of them - Jazmine for color, and Christina for the cut - over a year ago, and I've been going pretty much every 6 weeks since! I've never had a bad experience, and together they both always make my hair look AMAZING! Before I even have finished checking out at the salon, I always get compliments from other customers and stylists. A few times, random people walking by the salon in the mall have complimented me on my freshly-done cut and color and asked me who did my hair, and I've bragged on these two talented women! I literally get compliments on a weekly basis, even if my cut is grown out or my color has faded a bit, it cracks me up because people just seem to be ""drawn"" to my hair! Not only can these two do their job beyond what I've ever imagined, they are both extremely kind-hearted, caring, not to mention HILARIOUS individuals. I know that I can go into that salon and I'll be completely taken care of and satisfied when I walk out...because they wouldn't let me walk out otherwise! I love how they both take the time to find out what color or cut I'm wanting at that visit, and talk to me about products that would work best for what I'm having done that day, or what new products have arrived. I've probably spent $500 if not more in hair products over the past year - including a Paul Mitchell flat iron, and every penny was worth it! I couldn't ask for two better people or stylists that I can truly TRUST with my hair! more

I finally found a hair colorist! I have been going to various places and then to your place for a few years now and have used a couple of your hair color people but I have finally found someone who knows my hair and knows what looks good on me. Jasmine is wonderful. She is the ONLY one that I have EVER come back to and she has a great attitude to go along with her skill. more

Visible Changes at Baybrook has friendly staff members who are talented! I have received several cuts from Tarey, and she always does a great job. She takes the time to talk to customers, truly understand their needs, and THEN picks up the scissors. I recently had Shana do my cut for the first time - and she was superb. I needed advice on the appropriate cut and she was absolutely right. I loved my hair so much that she got a large tip and a hug! :) Nicole has done my color several times and she is great too. She always gives me what I want and ensures that I am satisfied. \r \r I have always experienced great customer service and excellent styles. I found Adriana when I decided to cut off a good 9 inches of my hair and donate it. She found a new style for me and ever since then I have been going to her. I don't trust anyone else with my hair. If she is not available, I will wait until another day or time until she is. I just go in, sit in her chair and leave the rest to her. I even have it set up for her to do my hair for my wedding. I just don't trust anyone else! Adriana knows me and my style like no one else. Plus she's a great confidant and friend. She can tell when something just isn't right and gets you talking and truely cares about her customers as human beings not just as another body sitting in her chair. I absolutely LOVE her!!! Pros: She knows my style like no one else!!! Cons: The salon keeps moving her chair and it freaks me out when I don't see her in her last spot!! HaHa! more

I went to visible changes for the first time and was a very pleased with the turn out . The people and service was great. The stylist that did my hair , did it exactly how I wanted it and thanks to her I always look nice . I highly recommend Visible Changes if you are looking for a nice , fresh look. I CUT MY HAIR ON WEDNESDAY BEFORE IKE..I WAS SORT OF NERVOUS BECAUSE I DIDNT KNOW WHAT I WANTED..ELIZABETH EXPLAINED THE PERFECT CUT TO FIT MY FACE SHAPE....AND TOOK ME FROM MID BACK LENGTH TO SHOULDER LENGTH..ITS GREAT!!!!! SHE SHOWED ME WHAT STYLING PRODUCTS TO USE AND THE CORRECT SHAMPOO AS WELL...MY HAIR DID GREAT TRAVELING OUT OF TOWN TO EVACUATE FROM THE HURRICANE...IF MY HAIR CAN LOOK GREAT OUT OF TOWN IN SUCH CONDITIONS AS I WAS IN AUSTIN...I CAN RECCOMEND HER TO ANNYONE..TO JUST LOOK GREAT OR FOR A NESSESITY...I WILL GO BACK AND SEE HER AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO PLEASED WITH A HAIRCUT AS I AM WITH LIZ'S.. more

Just call and make an appointment with Vance, you won't be disappointed. She manages to make anything look awesome. \r \r For those that are worried about hairdressers that take the liberty of lopping off a whole chunk, please rest assure, an inch is an inch and she'll cut exactly as you specify.\r \r While doing all of this she keeps you quite entertained!!!!! i have been getting my hair done at visible changes for about 3 years now and it wasnt till today that i got my best one yet from liz! she listened to how i wanted my hair then cut it perfectly. she was friendly and i will definatly be going back to her! she is great! more
