The Body Shop

The Body Shop had very good customer service. They picked us up, they brought the car back, and they brought us back too, and that was all very nice of them. They got back to us right away, in the time that they said they would be done doing the repair. I'd recommend them to anybody. I'm an ex-body man myself, so I know what I'm looking for. One thing I know that people hate is having their radio station changed after the car has been worked on, and I appreciate that they left it where it was and didn't mess with my car. I found out about the Body Shop Inc. through the phone book and chose them because I liked the way they got back to me right away. They are very nice to work with. She called to follow up and called right away if she needed something. You didn't have to wait for any of their services. I'm not a big fan of waiting and not following up. The Body Shop Inc. worked on the front end to install a new bumper and headlights. They do good work at a reasonable price with good customer service! more

The Body Shop, Inc. were right on top of everything! They kept me in the loop about phone calls made to my insurance company, they tried to fix everything they could, and kept me updated on the progress on my car. They were very speedy and did a great job! My car looks great, they are awesome! more

This was my first experience with The Body Shop. I was in an accident, hit from the rear. The insurance paid for it. The Body Shop was on the list of shops to go to. I called the BBB to research them and they had nothing bad to say about them so I took my car there. They did a good job. They were able to replace it in a timely manner. I took it in, they got the parts and had it done the very next day. It was fast. I'd go back there again if I had to. more

My car was rear ended, I drove down the street and came across The Body Shop, Inc. I like giving smaller shops a chance to have my business instead of a larger company with a thousand workers. I think you tend to get better treatment from the smaller shops. I was right in this case. They are very detail-oriented and their customer service went above and beyond my expectations. I'd absolutely use their services again! more

The Body Shop has actually done a couple of things for me. They painted one of my first tow trucks a year or two ago. I think it was a project that somebody else started, but I dragged it out of there, talked to Tim at The Body Shop, and he said he'd finish it up for me. He gave me a price for doing it, and a time frame for doing it in, and I'm happy with the job they did on the tow truck. Recently, I brought in a project car to The Body Shop. It's an older car, and it turned out to be a big project, so it was down there for awhile. When I brought it in, Tim and I talked about it and he made some suggestions as to where to start. I came back a week later, and he found some other problems, so we put it on the frame machine with my approval to figure where we were really at, and the car just came apart. What was really good about that whole experience was that he kept me involved in all the garbage that they found under there. They let me make the decisions on what was going to be fixed and how, and at the end of the day I was very happy. It wasn't easy for either of us. There were issues on his side, and issues on my side, but everything I wanted to fix he stepped up with a smile and a handshake. He takes pride in his work, and he takes pride in his shop. I was really happy with both my projects. There will always be problems in any business, and you can't judge them on that. How they deal with the problems though, that's where you see the character of a business, and you can judge them from that. I have nothing but good things to say about those guys at The Body Shop. I had been in an auto accident, and unfortunately didn't have comprehensive insurance. A few weeks prior, I had met Michelle, the owner of The Body Shop, Inc., at a business leaders meeting. After the accident, the tow truck driver had taken my vehicle to a shop with really high prices, and I immediately thought of Michelle. I got in touch and she quoted me a really good price, so I took my business to her. The repairs took about a month to complete, during which time I was regularly kept updated as to the progress of the repairs. When I picked the car up there was one cosmetic piece still on backorder, but when it arrived they got in touch and put it on for me. The Body Shop is definitely concerned with the person, and not just the car. I ended up spending about $10,000 out of pocket, and when that kind of money is involved, the little things really count. I had a good experience with The Body Shop, and I would use them again. They are a very reputable business, and you don't have to worry about your car when you use them. more

The Body Shop did a beautiful job on my Mercedes! I was so concerned whenever I leave it at a body shop, but they were just wonderful all the way around. From the moment I walked in the door, they treated me with so much respect. They really knocked themselves out for me! They drove me home and picked me up, and that meant a lot to me. I was frightened to death what my Mercedes would look like when I got it back, but it was beautiful! I can't say enough nice things about them. I really can't tell you how happy I was! I'm telling everyone about it too. I already gave out the one card I had, but I should have taken more, because I would love to get more people in there, and if I have my way, they will have plenty of work to do! The Body Shop was the first place I took my Mercedes to. I know pretty much what to expect from them, and they were great all the way around. The price was right too. If I had taken it to the Mercedes shop where I had taken it once before for a different dent, it would have been considerably more. The people at the Body Shop are delightful to work with, which is a real plus for them. They're just wonderful people! They couldn't have been any nicer to me. I went to The Body Shop, Inc. after I was rear-ended. I thought it was worth it. They make it so easy to work with them. I went there and they got me in quickly and gave me an estimate. They worked with my insurance company and took care of the rental for me. I was never there for more than five minutes. Everyone there is very nice, friendly and professional. I was always able to reach somebody or my calls would be returned immediately. Plus, my car looks great. I felt that it was worth it! more

At the time, I was living in Tahoe City, but the insurance adjuster suggested that I take my car to be fixed in Reno, NV because the costs would be a little better. I didn't know any other places, so I took my car to The Body Shop, Inc. on a recommendation. They were very helpful. They were so awesome and completely understood that I needed to leave my car there for awhile until I could come back to pick it up. They were going to fix my front end for me. It was so cool, because Michelle offered to fix my broken tailgate too for only $50. Everything turned out great for me. more

The Body Shop is excellent. Their service is very, very good. It's hard to say how they are when it comes to price, as they just have set rates, and I have no idea about their competition, but I had no problem with it whatsoever. I had to pay a deductible, just $500, and my insurance took care of everything over that, so it seemed right in line as far as part and labor when you totaled it up. They were very good at staying in constant touch with me. I had a problem, and I needed to have the car done by a certain day, otherwise I would run into problems with the rental car company. My insurance company was slow, not The Body Shop. My wife had gotten into the accident on top of Mount Rose, sliding on ice in a snow storm and running into a rail. I got the car down to them, and they were ready to go, but the insurance company was slowing things up. Apparently they were waiting to get approval from someone in Chicago. Michelle, from The Body Shop, and I both called them day after day so we could get this thing going. The Body Shop was very good. They gave me a ride and picked me up at the car rental place, which helped out too. They didn't have to do that kind of thing, but they did, and I appreciated that. more

The Body Shop did a wonderful job on my car. When I was on my way out of town my car was struck by boulders falling down the mountain. I was towed back to Reno, and The Body Shop helped me with getting a rental car so that I could continue on my way to the Bay Area. They worked with the insurance adjuster even while I was out of town and stayed in touch with me the entire time. It went really well, and the car looks fantastic. There are a couple little things that I need to take to them, but I am confident that it won't be a problem. I think anyone bringing their car to The Body Shop will be pleased by how friendly and courteous they are. Their customer service is very good. I went to the The Body Shop, Inc. on an insurance claim. I had checked out their website and the BBB beforehand, and decided to give them a try. I went in, and they took really good care of me. The Body Shop did an excellent job. I was quoted as much as $1200 elsewhere, and they did if for a little less than half. I walked in the door, spoke to a guy named Frank, and he was wonderful. He explained to me what was the best way to go, and I took his advice. It turns out that he was exactly right. Everything was done in a timely fashion. I had a small schedule quirk, and they worked with me on that. I paid for it, and that was that. The Body Shop is conveniently located, and their work and estimates are very accurate. more

I was in an accident and the insurance company sent me to The Body Shop. I didn't have to wait to be seen, they gave me an idea of what to expect and even gave me options for things I didn't know I had available to me. However, the work took longer than I had expected. I was told it would take about a week and it ended up taking them three weeks to totally fix it. I realize that was because of the extent of the damage, and they kept finding things wrong, but it still would have been nice to know how long I was going to need a rental. They were really good about communicating, and called me to let me know the progress of things as they went. The end results are great, my car looks so nice. I think they went over and beyond what I expected from them. You really can't say that about every company you deal with either, so I think it's really refreshing to work with people who do. I think they have outstanding customer service, great communication, are very honest and really care about their customers. more

This was the first time I used The Body Shop. I was glad they did all the questioning and problem-solving with the insurance company and I didn't have to worry about that, which I liked. They told me my car would be done in two weeks and it was sooner than that time, so that was good too, even though they were busy. The Body Shop, Inc. is a great shop. I'm so glad I found them! I was new to the area and needed an auto shop. I went to a few places and was really feeling like I was being toyed with an up-sold on the estimates I was getting. When I met Steve at The Body Shop, Inc., I immediately felt put at ease. He took the time to print out the estimates for my car and the savings were huge when compared to the other shops I had gone to prior. The work they did to my car has been phenomenon so far. I've been extremely pleased with their honesty and trustworthiness. They really strive to work quickly and efficiently and always have the customer's safety in mind. The Body Shop was very impressive. Their prices were more than reasonable. I had called around to several different shops, and they were the most responsive and the most willing to do the work out of all the ones I had called in town. It also helped that their prices were more than fair. The work they did was flawless. Someone had hit my bumper, which caused quite a bit of damage. I called The Body Shop and spoke with them about it. They looked at it, and said they could pull out the dents. It turns out they had to replace the fender. Other shops I had talked to said that replacing the fender would cost another $200, and that's if they could find one. The Body Shop found one, replaced it, and the price stayed the same. They did the extra work at no extra charge, and everything looks perfect. more
