I would NOT recommend Terry's Plumbing to anyone!! They are extremely expensive and will nickel and dime you to death. They quoted me $189 to change a toilet wax ring, $289 to replace the flange. They were at my home less than 3 hours and charged me $429. I will never use them again and I will make it a point to let everyone know to stay away from them! more

A PLUMBER YOU CAN TRUST. 2/15/2012

I highly recommend anyone having plumbing problems to call Terry's Plumbing. My sewer had backed up over the weekend & I didn't know who to call that I could trust. My husband would have taken care of this but he passed away a few months ago so I am a single Mom with two small children. I asked my neighbor to recommend a plumber & he gave me Terry's Plumbing name. I called him saturday morning & he was out before noon & unclogged my sewer in less than an hour. I was given a very reasonable price over the phone before he came out & that is was I paid when he was done. I had many questions since my sewer had never backed up before & he answered all of them. He put me at ease & I will definitely use Terry's Plumbing again !!!! Pros: null Cons: null more

Women- stay away. Scam artist who think women know nothing! 2/10/2012

I had my sewer back up today. So I called Terrys Plumbing. The plumber came out and 'tried' to snake my drain. He said it wouldn't open and part of the line need replaced. When explaining the 'issue' he talked down to me as if i was a child. He gave me an estimate for the work $4,500.00!!!!!! My house is only five years old. I told the plumber to let me think about it and I will be in touch. So, I searched another plumber online for a second opinion. The second plumbing company had a licensed plumber come out and clear my drain right away. He explained it was near impossible for the pipe line to have gone bad already. How dumb does Terrys Plumbing think I am? Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I do not have common sense with Plumbing. Now I know to NEVER use them again. Had a bad vibe with the person in my home and experience over all! more

Excellent Plumber 12/29/2011

I never thought I would be so pleased with a plumber that I'd actually want to take the time to write a review about them. Our experience with Terry's Plumbing was that good! They have someone answering the phone who is both pleasant and knowledgeable. When our hot water heater burst we were in a panic. I remembered someone talking about an experience they had with Terry's plumbing and how great it was. The woman on the phone explained the process and the next day we had a new water heater. Best Plumbing Service 12/29/2011

We had a gas leak on the outside of my house and we had a plumbing co. come and try to tell us we had to run a whole new line. So we called Terry's Plumbing to get a second opinion and they told me there was no reason to have the line replaced and that it was just a leak at the gas meter. They had it taken care of in a few hours and we saved thousands. From now on they will be the only plumbing co. we use. Pros: null Cons: null more

Professional and Reliable Plumber 12/29/2011

I recently bought a new house and within the first month of being in my house I had a sewage problem in my basement. I was frantic so I called several local plumbers and received the best quote from Terry?s Plumbing. The plumber showed up on time, ran the camera down the sewer, found the problem and fixed it. Great Service and Great People 10/3/2011

Moved into a new home and unfortunately had too many issues with plumbing in the home. Terry's came to the rescue at least 10 times during the first 60 days in my home. All in all they ended up replacing my sewer lines. I had great communication with Terry and his staff on each visit to my home. I highly recommend them to anyone who has plumbing issues. more

Run away 6/22/2011

Atrocious experience. Terry's plumber(Rick) came out to the house and rpair a refrigerator water line. 3 days later the line leaked and cause water damage to the finished basement. When called, same plumber was sent and claimed it was a different section of the line that had leaked and wanted to charge $200 to replace it again. When Terry was called, he offered the same, and when pressed offered to send Rick back out, then when pressed again, offered to send a different plumber. Refused to take responsibility for the water damage. more

Fixed my problem when another plumber couldn't 12/16/2010

I recently had Terry come out due to, what I was lead to believe, a collapsed sewer pipe. I had first called Sullivan and they attempted to snake the sewer to the tune of $120 and they did not resolve the issue. Sullivan then quoted quoted me over six thousand (!!!!) dollars to dig up the driveway and repair the pipe. Terry came out and re-snaked the sewer line and in a matter of a few minutes had the blockage clear. Terry, was prompt, efficient, and best of all: affordable! I will be telling anyone that asks for a plumber about Terry! Terry saved Christmas this year. more

I would give 0 stars, if possible. The owners are morons, their customer service sucks and they will rip you off if given the opportunity to. Save your money and go with Mertz or Concannon Plumbing. more

Good job, Cost: OK 10/12/2010

Had a sewage stoppage couple days ago. Although I had the service contract with Dominion and didn't pay directly myself, I asked the guy how much I would pay without that, for the same job, he said "around $180" which would be OK with me because they came in 2h from the time I placed my first phone call and they did the job properly. I would definately call them again even if I would not have this Dominion contract for sewage maintenance. more

Scammers! 10/11/2010

Had a sewage back up and called Terry's. They ran a camera snake through the system and told me my pipes were clogged under the basement floor and the floor would have to be jackhammered and the pipes replaced at a cost of $6000! I had to pay $400 for their time (about 2 hours).\r \r I was about to go for it and at the last minute decided on getting a second opinion. Another plumber came out and charged me $65 to snake the lines. Problem solved! I complained to Terrry's about the $400 I wasted and was rudely told I was paying for their time. Really? I thought I was paying for their expertise. Since what I actually received was either an attempted rip-off or incompetence, I wanted at least some of my money back. No dice. Rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. more

PROFESSIONAL AND REASONABLE 9/2/2010

I had a sewage backup occur at my home while out of town guests were staying with me recently. What a disaster! I called Terry's Plumbing and was immediately greeted on the phone by a young lady who was polite and professional. More importantly, she understood the urgency of my situation and assured me she would have someone out to my home within two hours. An hour and a half later, the plumber arrived, and within 30 minutes, he had my sewer cleared, and provided me with several excellent tips to keep it that way. Due to the obvious urgency of the situation, I was expecting to be gouged. Not so!!!!!! Terry's Plumbing was surprisingly reasonable! I was completely impressed with the professionalism and courtesy extended by everyone at Terry's from the time of my initial contact until my sewer was flowing freely again. Hats off to ALL at Terry's Plumbing - my NOW OFFICIAL PLUMBER! more

Curtious, Efficient, and Effective 8/13/2010

Terry's Plumbing showed up extremely fast and got the work done super quick (I'm pretty handy, and I was impressed). I couldn't be happier! I've noticed several grumbles about charging 'by the job' and 'by the hour'. Would you prefer he worked slower so you 'get your money's worth'? Terry shouldn't take a pay cut because he gets the job done faster than the average plumber. I plan to use Terry's for all future plumbing needs, and will recommend to family and friends. more

Fast & Friendly 8/13/2010

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Terry's Plumbing. They showed up super fast, fixed the problems with my flooding basement. The price I was quoted was fair, and they were knowledgeable and friendly, explaining how to avoid the problem in the future. My wife and I were extremely happy, and would/will recommend highly to anyone needing a plumber. more
