I've been going to Cymbre for over 5 years and not once have i been disappointed. What I like most about Cymbre is that she knows what looks best. I don't have to help her figure it out. She has an eye for what haircut works, including color and style. I figure if your going to pay for a quality haircut, why go to someone you have to tell them what to do. A friend recommend Taglio to me so I thought I would give the Salon a shot. There I met Erin and I'm so glad I did. Erin is very good at what she does and Her personality is the best! I got a Hair cut and Shampoo and the scalp massage during the shampoo was pure heaven. If your not sure what you want done with your hair Erin is very good at helping you find the right style. I followed Sara from her previous salon to Taglio even though it's a 30 minute commute now because she does an amazing job! I have 2 friends who are also sylists and they are always complimenting my color which says a lot. I love that she gives me her honest opinion and I always leave extremely happy - she definitely knows what looks best for my type of hair. I found her based on a friend's referral and have recommended her to others. We have all been going to her for over 7 years now! more

I'm am thrilled! My hair looks great and the staff were super sweet. Sara is a wonderful stylist and worked for over 3 hours to give me exactly what I wanted. Let me tell you I'm picky and asked for something not easy with regard to color. She was thorough but was also able squeezed in enough time to put some color highlights on my two daughters, which very much made their year! I will most defiantly be back when I need my do re-done. In a nutshell, I was unhappy with the service and requested a portion of my $ back. I was written a check that bounced. The whole story....I saw Sarah on May 22nd 2011 for a cut and color. I requested a dramatically darker color with blended low-lights and a cut that would compliment my natural curls. When she was done with the color she asked what I thought. I honestly told her it really didn't look any different to me (except I could see some ""stripes"" in it if I looked close). She requested I give the color a few days and if I was still unhappy she would be glad to reappoint me another time and redo the color. I was charged $140 and was not pleased with the cut either. I really didn't feel as though Sarah had the skills I was looking for so I called Sarah back and told her I would rather be reimbursed for the cost of the color than reappointed and although I really wasn't happy with the cut either I thought she should at least be paid for her time therefore I would only request the cost of my color be reimbursed. She was polite and professional and said she would be happy to do that and wrote me a check for $90. Well, it bounced and I was charged and additional $15. I am now basically $155 into a hair cut I am not pleased with. I will be contacting the owner of the salon today and the better business bureau in order to resolve this matter. As for the color, none of my friends (or husband) were able to tell I had anything done at all. I went to an accredited college cosmetology program and had the color corrected. It cost me $40 and looks beautiful. more

Usually I go to a walk-in but it wasn't open and I really needed a haircut before flying out of Portland tomorrow. After reading the reviews on-line I left a message at Taglio Salon, not really expecting that I could get an appointment. Within an hour my call was returned. Sara took me right away and just seemed to know what would look good on me and I LOVE the cut and style! Taglio and Sara will be my go-to place from now on! more

I have been trying to find a new salon for a while now and just have had horrible luck! I was driving past Taglio and thought I would give it a try. I read the reviews first and chose cymbre. She did exactly what I asked for and am so happy with the outcome.. The glass of wine and the great scalp massage was the best part! Highly recommend Taglio more

I am the owner responding to the previous review. First of all, of this had actually happened to a client, I sure they would have let management know. Secondly, a client would never be treated like that at Taglio Salon. If any stylist or receptionist was ever rude or treated a client poorly, they would not work at the salon. And lastly, all of our stylist's are very experienced and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. So, who ever wrote this review, please feel free to give me a call. Hair dresser didn't listen to me. The hair dresser fried my hair when highlighting it, I lost hand fulls of hair for a week. I am growing my hair out - I asked for a trim, she decided to layer it without asking. I asked for coffee, and they wouldn't make me any. Not very friendly, no smiling faces. Very expensive. The hairdresser told me that working on my hair made her glad that she didn't have hair like mine. I give them zero stars - they have all around poor service. more

I am a hairstylist, moved here from California and was worried about finding a good stylsit because I'm particular. Larissa has given me 2 haircuts so far and she is on time, consistent and knows what's she's doing. I LOVE my haircut. I highly recommend her! The salon is very pleasant and cute. Everyone is nice. Its a great place to go! more

Heidi has been my hairdresser for several years now and she is the best! \r \r I was in a restaurant recently and a woman stopped me on my way out. She had noticed my haircut and how it looked great -- better than any others she had seen for that certain style and cut. In response to the prior review. Exceptional customer service has been the building block of Taglio's success. This client arrived for her service with red eyes and crying...If as alleged, color or bleach had entered her eyes, the effect would have been excruciating, followed by an immediate eye rinse. This was not the case, but she demanded monetary compensation after her hair service was done that day. To insure that facts of such an event I consulted Dr. Gerig who stated it was physically imposibble to grow a tumor that quickly, that this had to be a pre-existing condition. In short and truthfully with great certainty I refuse to have money or services extorted from me or my stylist's. I stand firmly on my decision. Thank you. Pros: everything Cons: n/a more

I had Sara cut and color my hair for years. But on my last trip in, I had something splash into my eye when the I was getting rinsed after my shampoo post foil removal and my eye burned. I let Sara and DeeDee, the salon owner know. The way things were left, I was told that it was just a coincidence this happened and pretty much tough luck. The owner said that she's had color and bleach in her own eyes with no problem. I ended up with an ulcer in my eye that an MD diagnosed. I'm happy with the hair but unhappy with how they handled the situation. You shouldn't have to go to the doctor after going to the salon. Don't let the same thing happen to you... Kristy colored, cut and styled my hair this week, and did a great job. Her ability to blend color I already had with a new look made a big difference. She really paid attention to the things I said about my hair--fuss free, but that I had a picky husband, asked questions and then went to work!! Kristy, thank you for making not only me happy, but being the first stylist to gain the approval of the afore mentioned husband!!!\r I would highly recommend Kristy Sims!\r \r Pros: Beautiful salon, wine with your style? This was my first time at Taglio's- I usually go to Regis Hair Salon, who are fine, but never really impressed me, so I wanted to try somewhere else. One of my favorite parts about my experience here was just the setting- the environment is clean and sophisticated, but still welcoming and not intimidating. The stylists are really professional in their demeanor and skills, while still personable and friendly.\r \r I went in to get hair highlights and got an appointment with DeDe. Again, she was just so down to earth and friendly. Even without explaining much, I completely felt she understood what I wanted with my hair. I have crazy thick hair and I think this is the fastest anyone has ever gotten it done. It also turned out beautiful and more natural looking than I hoped for. \r \r So I gave it 5 stars, and I'll definately go back when I need to! :-) Pros: Comfortable, Friendly, Skilled Staff, Non Congested Location Cons: Expensive (but worth it) more

I can not say enough about the professional, courteous and amazing job that Sara did for me. I have hair that has been really through some bad color processing before and I have not ever really been happy with the cut. I brought in pictures (which was really helpful), explained the issues that have happened before that I want to avoid ever happening again. Sara took time to listen to me and then immediately knew what to chose for me. She didnt over-talk my ear off and was as friendly and kind as could be during the time I was there. She cut only what I asked her to and does it after she dries it not while it's wet. I have never been so happy as I am today with the job she did. The highlight and cut were well worth the $120.00. I would rather pay that and be able to trust that I will walk out happier than when I came in. I am thrilled with the excellent service, professionalism and talent Sara has. She is well worth your hair investment!!\r Go see her!!! This is my first time writing the review. I originally had Chery and Sara for my hair stylist. But Sara wasn't available along with my schedule and Chery had move to ATL :( They were fabulous! I've had great experiences with them. They actually listened to me and gave me great advices. So unfortunately, I had an appointment with Kristy for color and cut. And my hair never looked so bad. I thought it was actually okay at first but couple of hours later, my hair looked the same with bad shorter length of hair cut. My color hasn't really changed a bit. my cut is bad along with my bangs. I wish I hadn't cut it or colored it at all and spent $120. I'm not sure what to do with it but wait until it grows out. Until then I'm gonna have to look bad and be unsatisfied. :/ Pros: Couple of good stylists more

Taglio Salon is awesome! I've been going there for about 4 years now and the staff is wonderful and Heidi is especially super nice and awesome! She permanently straightened my hair with this new product that is all protein and no chemicals and it's been over 6 months and it's still really straight and much easier to straighten. If you are interested in getting your hair permanently straightened without chemicals and for a reasonable price, contact Heidi! If you are looking for a new place to get your hair done, I totally recommend this salon!!! Pros: Clean, upscale, professional, nice staff, affordable Cons: no cons I can think of more
