Taglio Salon

I was referred to see cymbre a few weeks ago by my neighbor.. I will have to say it is the most friendly salon i have ever been to. Not only were the girls friendly but they all looked great and had style! Usually in my past experiences at salons they are not this nice. Cymbre did a fab job on my color and under 2 hours! yea! I would send anyone to Taglio who wants great hair and cute girls! more

I was referred to Taglio by a coworker to see Cymbre. I had a cut and color done and have never been more happy with my hair! The salon was very friendly,clean and had a good vibe all around. I have been to several different kinds of salons and Taglio by far was the most pleasant experience. Cymbre listened to what I wanted and was very good with color. Highly recommended! Seems like the only style some of these stylists can cut is the ?Victoria Beckham? bob. Unfortunately, I didn?t want that but ended up with it anyway. The stylist was very nice (she?s a sweetie, actually) but she didn?t listen to what I was asking for (the third time I went to her, I actually DREW a picture for her?but I still didn?t get the cut I asked for). This was shocking to me, as she?s been cutting hair since she left high school 8 years ago.\r \r Precision was very poor, her cuts are very over priced, and she didn?t listen. So?now I?m going to London Influence and I love my hair again. Pros: Nice, clean salon. Cons: WAY over priced, below-par skill and precision in cutting, stylist didn't listen. more

I have been going to Sara at Taglio for several months now and just want to say that she does a great job. I went to the same hairdresser for almost 20 years and had to change recently and I was so happy to find Sara. I would highly recommend her for your haircutting and color needs. more

Well I'll start by saying after I read the last review about the stylist rhyming with elby, I was alittle nervous about an appointment I have had booked for almost a month. My stylist too rhymed with""Elby"". But I would have to say I was very very pleased with her. She was very personble and friendly. I left with the best cut and color i have ever had, not to mention my clothes were in the same condition when I left as they were when I went in. So all in all I would highly recommend Shelby and the Taglio Salon. more

This is a First Time Message on this sort of website - but I feel like it really has to be said.\r \r A stylist at Taglio's bleached a shirt of mine orange in three separate spots on the back, AND worst of all she didn't tell me about it when I stood up to leave - the dye somehow leaked through the cape i was wearing onto my shirt. So I walked out of there feeling good, but got home and took it off and was shocked to see the damage. Especially after paying $140+ for a color and a cut. \r \r So the next day I went back and spoke to the receptionist who referred me back to the stylist who did it - her name rhymes with Elby - who then tried to avoid me in person, then called me and eventually paid me cash for the shirt after my third trip into the salon to see her. \r \r After she handed me the money and had made an awkward scene, she told me, ""You shouldn't wear nice clothes to a salon anyway."" and was not apologetic at all, in fact she told me she had dyed other customers items before.\r \r So in summary, I guess the lesson is don't wear nice clothes to a fancy salon - they might ruin your outfit and then make you feel bad about it.\r Pros: Really great hair cut Cons: Bad customer service from certain staff members more

I moved to Portland 7 months ago and needed a new stylist. After trying 3 different well known salons and paying $60+ for a less than great haircut each time, I was DESPERATE for a good cut. Found Heidi while searching online for someone with Sassoon training and booked an appointment. She has transitioned my last terrible cut (wasn't even or symmetrical!) into just what I wanted. No more waking up to another bad hair day! Pros: talented stylists who listen more

Don't be fooled by the strip-mall location. Great Tuscan theme and wonderful service. Terra is a wiz! She had my hair looking hot in a flash, and was SO helpful and genuine. In regards to the comment made previously about the receptionist, that was not at all my experience. I have never encountered a receptionist who is as warm and friendly, and as genuine as Lisa. Everyone here is very attentive, the owner DeDe came over to say hi as well. My only complaint would be that I had to wait 15 minutes, even with it being mid-morning in the middle of the week. Given, I was about 10 minutes late so that may be a factor, but it's also likely I would have been waiting for 25 minutes had I been on-time. Will definately return to Terra. I took a chance after reading the reviews and began to see Sara. She's awesome to talk to, listens and always has great ideas. My hair has never felt healthier after getting it colored/highlighted! She does a great job and has always been on time. My only ""complaint"" would be for them to find a new receptionist. She never engages in any small talk, hardly ever smiles and just seems like she's too good to be working there. Initial presence anywhere is huge and I do not feel welcome when I arrive, or when I leave. A simple ""good-bye"" or ""thank you"" from the front would be nice since I am spending a substaintial amount in the salon. Other than that, everyone else seems very nice, they carry great products and having a glass of wine at 4PM is a great touch to the end my day. Chery has been doing my hair for the past few years. I even drive up to Tigard from Eugene for her to do my hair. I am always getting compliments about how great my hair looks, all my friends in Eugene are now considering driving up to Tigard as well, just to see Chery! Chery is great with color and styling, I highly reccommend her! more

I have been having Chery do my hair now for quite a while and I am very pleased. She is consistant, polite and very proffessional. The salon is very warm and pleasant to be in. I also like the fact I don't have to drive around for hours looking for a place to park. The glass of wine is also a nice touch. Chery is great, and I get a ton of compliments on my hair. I am new to the area and needed a new hairdresser. I saw the fantastic reviews about Taglio and gave it a try. I called to figure out if it was affordable. I was quoted $70 for a one color partial highlight. I was happy with the color and decided on a whim to get a trim. I assumed it would be a good deal because my color was. I have long hair and just wanted an inch off. Somehow she thought (Cherri) it was okay to charge me $40 for the cut! I was very suprised because I wanted to come back before she did that. So overall it is a decent salon but I do not recommend a hair cut or trim unless you want to be overcharged. more

I started going to Taglio Salon when my stylist , Sarah, moved there from a different salon. Not only is the salon right around the corner from me, the staff is always friendly and accomodating. Sarah gives incredible cuts, and always gets my color just the way I want it!! I recommend Sarah to everyone I know, even my husband has started going to her!! She is great for special occasion styles and updo's also!! more

My mom has a standing weekly appointment with Janene and she always comes out looking great! I go for the occasional trim or straightening. The coffee is the best and we like all of the stylists. DeDe is always a joy to be around and gives off energy and her love of life. Janene is very good with my mom who is 95 and Janene has worked out a wonderful way to help her navigate into and out of the chair. She will even come to the house if mom isn't too well. Most everyone comments on how great you look when you leave. Makes you feel like a member of their family. Best salon I have ever been to. We leave feeling like queens and make it a day out on the town with lunch and a bit of shopping. more

Today was my first time at Taglio and trust me, all the great reviews on here are very true! Although there was a misunderstanding with my appointment, they fixed the situation right away and a lady named Sara cut my hair. I have had so many awful haircuts before so I am always nervous to get my haircut by someone new--let me tell you, Sara was perfect in this situation. She walked me through what she wanted to do, asking my opinion and offering hers.\r \r My hair looks, by far, the best it has ever looked! She gave me a fresh look--my hair color is perfect, and my cut is exactly what I had in mind. My hair is also incredibly shiny and soft...it definitely looks amazing!!!! This is honestly the first time I have ever been truly happy with the way my hair looks.\r \r If you are looking for a new place to get your haircut and are a little nervous, definitely give Taglio a call and request Sara for your next cut and color. First and Foremost Jacquie did an amazing job! I highly recommend going to Taglio and requesting her as your stylist. I've always hated getting my hair cut and she did an amazing job and made me feel very comfortable. She touched up my color and added red into my hair which looks wonderful. I couldnt be more pleased with it. She offered me a beer and was very conversational. Shes very sweet and easy to talk to. Its very fair priced and the atmosphere is clean and crisp. The first time I called, Heidi answered the phone and I told her my sob story about how the last person who did my highlights messed my hair up. So I schedule my appointment with Heidi and everything turned out perfect. I told her what I wanted and when she was done, it is exacting what I wanted. The salon is wonderful as well. As soon as you walk in, they ask you if you want water, tea, or wine. Even if someone is going to Starbucks, they will offer you something from there. Pros: Everything! more
