Best

I am a regular here! I eat here every week and I love it! The fish is very fresh and they have good service.

I've been here a handful of times, always thinking that maybe it will be better, but it has never been anything but dissapointing to me. I feel like it's extremely average, consid...

THE best in the Valley 9/24/2002

Even if you have your favorite tried-and-true rolls or sushi, you must try at least one of the specials here. They come up with combinations that you would never think of...and they are all amazing. The wait is always long, but well worth it. Try making a reservation, but usually you wait just as long with or without one. Non-sushi items are good, too; chicken teriyaki and all the tempuras are delicious. It's also a celeb-sighting haven: one recent night yielded Christina Applegate, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow! more

MUST TRY! 6/27/2002

One of the best sushi joints on sushi row! If you're into specialty sushi dishes, this is the place to try. My favorites are the Japanese Salsa w/Seared Tuna and the Spicy Tuna Plate Reservations are a must after 7...and even then there might be a little wait. Surprisingly not pricey at all, especially compared to the other trendy sushi resaurants in LA! If you're not into specialty dishes, you have to try Nozawa on the same strip! more

Wonderful, mouthwatering sushi 6/2/2002

I admit it, I'm not the most adventurous sushi eater, but as far as jazzing up sushi for the less adventurous, this place is outstanding. My favorite - the seared ahi on a bed of crispy fried onions doused in soy sauce. Something to dream about. Also, I loved the baked crab roll. Both of these items are evergreen specials. From the regular menu, the rainbow roll is quite substantial and very tasty. One drawback to this place is if you don't have a reservation you may be in for a very long wait. Pros: mouth-watering sushi, adventurous cuisine Cons: very crowded, valet parking more
