I have lived in several major cities throughout my twenties and have never been inspired by the so-called best hairstylists in each city (such as Chicago). I have very curly hair and am, unfortunately, risk-adverse. In other words, I have had the same long, layered (aka BORING) haircut for most of my life.\r

This all changed after my visit to Steven Sobel Salon! I found out about him through the article in Elle magazine recently, so I thought I'd take a chance. I walked into his salon, which was completely unassuming, and asked him to do something different with my long, boring curly hair. I hated being one of those girls who wanted something different but didn't have anything in particular in mind, but I was hoping for a miracle. And a miracle is what I got.\r

Steven was very patient and talked through my likes and dislikes until he had an excellent suggestion on a new style that played up my curls. I was scared by the change at first, especially when I saw him cut off nearly 9 inches of my hair...but I quickly came to love the new look. And everyone, including my husband, loves it too!\r

So, thanks to Steven, I have a sexy new look (and have even started to branch out a little more with my fashion). He is a wonderfully talented stylist, and I highly recommend that you visit him. I convinced my sister, who lives in Florida, to set up an appointment with him the next time she's in town.
