Review content:
I started school at Tulane and was hoping to find a good salon nearby to cut my hair. I had no idea I would find it so close to campus though! I have been back to Steven Sobel's salon many times since and have never been disappointed with my cut.
My stylist, Rina, is very professional and does a great job with styling and cutting my hair. I love the friendly and casual atmosphere of the salon too, though it may be too small to fit in as many appointments as larger salons may be able to. I would say that the wait is worth it though, and have recommended many of my friends to go as well.
Another con may be that sometimes the phone will ring and one of the stylists will have to pause to answer it. But, even that isn't too distracting!
I'm unfamiliar with some of the more complicated functions of the salon, because I am a guy and only get a basic style and cut each time. But, I have friends that go to Steven's as well and they are always satisfied.
I am glad that I finally found a salon in New Orleans that is filled with professional, talented, and friendly stylists! Thank you!
Pros: Professional stylists, friendly, location, good value
Cons: small, needs full-time receptionist
