One word: Outstanding 10/7/2016

I got multiple bids to have my heat pump and furnace replaced. Of all the bids I got Specialty was the one that stood above all the other. Their combination of communication, customer service, product and installation knowledge and price point made them my top pick. The only hiccup came at the very end when the installer forgot my rebate/ tax credit paperwork and left a tool. This was so minor as compared to the very complicated issues with my installation that I was happy to drive to their office in Tigard, return the tool and turn in my paperwork with a smile on my face. I highly recommend Specialty heating and cooling to anyone whom is needing service of their equipment or total replacement/ upgrade. Thanks team! more

Completely satisfied with furnace, A/C and service. 10/1/2016

Robert (technician) has provided knowledgeable and friendly service whenever he comes to perform annual checks on my furnace and A/C. He answers any questions with just the right amount of info -- not too technical, unless I should ask for it. He works with quiet efficiency, and I feel reassured that he is keeping my furnace and A/C in top working order. And the staff is always courteous when I phone. Thank you! more

Took the time to get it right 9/27/2016

Careful work by an experienced technician. Tuned up both the heat pump and back-up gas furnace. Spent almost two hours and left me with a good understanding of how my equipment was doing after 11 years. Getting pricey, but we have used them for many years. more

The technician worked carefully and examined my HVAC systems. He fixed a leak in the A/C drain. Most of all, I felt confident in his ability to assess and identify problems and fix them. He did excellent work. more

mini split system install 9/20/2016

We had Specialty install a 3 unit mini-split system on our three level home. The estimator told us exactly what was involved and what it would cost. The installers showed up (exactly on time) on the hottest day of the year -- it really was miserable out on the roof and the west facing walls -- and spent about a ten hour day installing and testing the units. It took several tries to get them working properly, but the crew stayed until the system was fully functional. The system has made a huge difference to the "livability" of our house. The cost was exactly the amount on the proposal, and the post installation service (what little has been necessary ) has been prompt, polite and effective. We were impressed with Specialty and would recommend them to anyone more

Awesome job! 9/19/2016

They were on time and fast. It took two days to get the work done but they brought in five guys to make sure it was done. They noticed flaws in the old system and with the new recommendations the house has been warmer then the last several years that we have owned it. The other heater worked fine but the duct system was all messed up. Proper ducting is very important. Planning on my heating bill to drop way down. more

The Good Guys 9/15/2016

These folks are very professional. A year ago they replaced a gas furnace, installed a heat pump so I now have A/C, and rerouted some heat vents from wall to floor and installed additional return air for better circulation. After a year of usage, I am thrilled. Temperatures well maintained throughout house and utility bills way lower than I expected! Thank you Specialty Heating & Cooling. Just completed one year service inspections under warranty and all running well. more

Excellent Service, Went the Extra Mile 9/14/2016

The sales and installation team at Speciality Heating & Cooling walked me through every step of the process of choosing a new heating/cooling system. The sales rep gave me a variety of options to choose from and he was upfront about the benefits and potential drawbacks of each option. He steered me to the system the best suited my needs rather than the most expensive one. The installation team was extremely professional. They explained the installation process and made sure I understood everything that was going to take place. As an example of their professionalism, when they removed my old heating unit they accidentally spilled some soot on my carpet. They spent extra time going to a store to buy carpet cleaner and then making sure that everything had been cleaned up. more

Outstanding! 9/1/2016

We began using Specialty Heating a number of years ago. They repaired our heating system after repeated attempts by the company that installed it failed to diagnosis or solve the problem. Their work has been outstanding. We have had them service our system twice a year ever since. They are always professional and do excellent work. And, we will continue to do so as long as we own our home. My wife really appreciates that they call when they are enroute to the home and email a picture of the service technician so identification is simple. more

Our service was excellent and much appreciated due to our AC stopping on a very hot evening. Kurt with Specialty was out early the next morning to diagnose. We realized quickly that we needed a new AC unit and Specialty took care of everything from bringing out Eric to discuss options and loaning us a AC portable unit. They even got us on the list for a Monday am install We really appreciated the extra service since I have a recent broken back and have to wear a hot and heavy brace. This is our second system buy with Specialty and our other transaction was also outstanding. more
