1st Appt 6/1/11 6/1/2011

1st time and no problems told me what to expect and showed were the problem was. So far I have not taken any pain killers. But I thought I would take a Ibuprofen at bed time. more

They were the nicest people from the moment I walked in the door.It was 430 on a friday and a holiday weekend the staff was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable . Everyone I encounter was very accomadating and didn't disregard my toothache to rush off for the long weekend. The lady at the front desk was the kind of person u wish u had as a family member .thanks u all again for the service and making me feel like I wasn't a bother. more

As a general dentist in the Tucson area, I've sent patients to Southern Arizona for years and always receive positive feedback. Today, experiencing my very first root canal after 57 years, I'm happy to personally report that the total patient experience was very pleasant. I saw Dr. Smith for the first time. Extremely professional and very clear about the procedure and its urgency and results. No surprises and absolutely no discomfort. The staff greeted me in a courteous manner. My appointment was on time. Very satisfied. more

It seemed like overkill for my minor problem, but ruling out a czuse is good, but not knowing what the cause is is bad. With all the equipment and knowledge, my problem should've been nailed. more

This was the most pleasant visit I have had at a Dental office and for a root canal that's saying a lot. The professionalism was outstanding-no pain! I think the Dentist does a fill-in on night time comedy-who else could out talk Colbert. I'd love to visit again but here's hoping-NOT Maybe for a Happy Hour. more

I had a tooth flare up over a weekend and called AZ endo. The Dr called me in a rx for pain meds and antibiotics for me until I could get in on Monday. On that Monday they got ne in right away and i showed up in pain and early for my apt. Instead of having me wait in pain, they took me back and got me out if pain until the dr could see me. Dr burrows was so kind and informative and professional. Everything went great I couldnt be happier. more

COMPETENT SERVICE AND WELL RUN OFFICE 5/16/2011

I went for a diagnosis and got what I believe to be an accurate one I was unable to follow up with treatment as I was returning to the East coast and did not have enough time. I would have felt comfortable being treated there. The office was well run and well kept. The wait was somewhat longer than I expected but not inordinate. more

Can a Root Canal be an Awesome Experience?... YES! 5/10/2011

Well, actually it was my son who underwent the root canal. We were told by his referring dentist that SAE had earned their highest praise - and mentioned Dr. Funk, in particular. We were not disappointed. This clinic is first rate; from the receptionists' greeting, to the waiting area, to Dr. Funk and his assistant. Everyone was so kind, warm and reassuring. My son felt completely at ease. Dr. Funk came out to explain what he was about to do then returned a short time later to advise that all went well. His assistant was great; my son was even invited to go and "shadow" the staff one day to explore the dental profession first hand. Warning: You will be showered with a (real) rose, a dental gift bag, and a follow up wellness phone call the next day. SAE, you are the best! more

Dr Funk and his assistant Nicole are the best ! I hope I never need this kind of dental work again, but if I need it - SAE is the place to go. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. more

All of the staff members were very cordial and professional. Dr. Burros and Dr. Smith were excellent. The root canal surgery was handled very well with a minimum of discomfort. I am very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend SAE to friends and family. more

Surprisingly not aweful. Staff was super nice and Dr. was very cautious of pain management. I even took a nap! more
