I don't mind telling you that I did not look forward to a root canal but my experience here was just the opposite. No pain!!!! the staff was friendly and helpful. My doctor was great. more

Dr. Burros was excellent! 12/13/2011

I would like to say that the staff and Dr. Burros were excellent. I was suffered from a little bit of claustrophobia during the procedure and Dr. Burros was very understanding. He let me take a break and refocus. He took his time and explained everything he was doing it. Very comforting. more

Root Canal procedure 12/12/2011

Let me start off by saying that a tooth ache is probably one of the most uncomfortable and painfull experiences one could have. Thinking about an upcoming weekend and having to deal with extreme pain is a nightmare.I called the office at 1:30 on a Friday afternoon and was in the Doctor's chair by 2:30. Needless to say a little over an hour later I was on my way home. The procedure was as painless as any root canal could be. Dr. Funk and the staff were exceptional and more than accomodating. Thanks folks It's a great comfort to know you folks are there in time of one's needs. more

My Root Canal 12/11/2011

The staff is quietly caring,(it's a nice quiet office) provide for your information privacy. Pleasantly answer questions.The Doctor explained every step during the procedure, and offered frequent reassurances, concerned about my comfort. He apologized for needing more time than he anticipated, but was calm,not rushed. Afterwards, snacks and water was offered, and after the payment was made, I was given a lovely red rose- overall good experience to a dreaded procedure. They sent me home with prescriptions in case of need, a bag of goodies(toothbrush, pain med etc) and full instructions for after-care, making sure I had their phone number. more

Very well run operation. All things done in a professional manner. I felt relaxed and from the start in good hands. The procedure was painless and every step made clear to me. If only I were in the 1% I would have all my teeth done ASAP - just kidding. Thanks much. more

Excellent Experience 12/8/2011

Even though my reason for being at Southern Arizona Endodontics was for a root canal, the dental experience was the most gentle and caring one I think I've every had. I was shown my x-rays and given a "play-by-play" of what the doctor was doing and why he was doing it. He routinely took the time to ask if I was OK and if I needed anything. When I got back to my office, I told everyone about having a root canal and when they quit grimacing, I told them that if they ever needed one that Southern Arizona Endodontics was THE place to go. more

Wonderful experience! 12/1/2011

I had a root canal in the past that wasn't a very good experience. I dreaded needing to have another one, and was referred to So. AZ Endodontics. When I first walked in, the waiting area was very clean, and relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly. The Dentist & Hygienist not only explained what they were doing as they were working on me, but they also made me feel at ease. I highly recommend this place if you need a root canal!! more

Fantastic endodontics experience 11/29/2011

Sheila had an emergency root canal problem.She was seen immediately upon referal by Dr. Lang. It was a three chanel infected root canal problem. Her endodontics doctor was vey thorough. He explained his procedure every step of the way. The reception staff was very caring and informative. It was a great experience. more

Black Friday takes on a new meaning! 11/27/2011

I guess not as bad as it could have been - but a root canal on the Friday after Thanksgiving? What was I thinking? Actually, thankful S AZ Endodontics was open this day. The 3+ hours in the office would have been quite inconvenient on a normal work day. Thanks for sacrificing your family time to drill! more

quick visit 11/25/2011

I was able to get an appointment on short notice to evaluate a tooth. Everyone was efficient, courteous and kind. The doctor was a bit amusing. Referred me to oral surgeon. No charge for appt or x-ray. This was my second very positive experience with Dr. Smith -- and the last was a root canal! more

Over and above expectations 11/23/2011

I was referred from my general dentist when my root canal became more complicated than expected. I was greeted by the pleasant receptionist who did all she could to work with me and get me treated that day. The next surprise was the helpful, knowledgeable dental assistant and the kind and cooperative Dr. Funk. They all bent over backward to make an unpleasant and long day end on a good note by giving me great care. more

My visit was very comfortable. The Doctor & Assistants told me everything that they were doing.. I have not been in any pain, just soreness. I would certainly recommend your service. The gals at the front desk were very nice also. more
