almost stress-free 7/27/2011

upon entering the office, i was greeted by a wonderful receptionist, who helped me feel less anxious about the upcoming root canal. i had always heard many horror stories regarding this procedure. i was impressed with the entire staff; nicole, the dr's. assistant, dr. shroyer,himself and the check-out girl. nicole and the dr. explained what was going to be done as we went along. it truly was much less stressful than i had anticipated. judith berkman more

Root Canal! 7/26/2011

Everyone was very kind, helpful, and supportive. I was anxious about the procedure, but the staff handled me very professionally. Dr. Smith is great at giving shots (although I was already numb). I couldn't ask for a better experience...except for not having to have the procedure done in the first place! Thank you all! more

Emergency Root Canal 7/25/2011

Except for there being only one Doctor in the office and I had to share his time...I appreciated that I was seen the same day and am now out of the horrific pain I was suffering. Thank you! All staff was very professional and very kind! more

Good Experience 7/25/2011

Good experience with Dr. Funk. No pain during visit and the first three days afterward have been uneventful. Dr. Funk was quite busy with another patient while I was there, so overall appointment went about 2 hours. more

Dr. Funk performed the fastest and most painless root canal I have ever had. Not only Dr. Funk but those I interacted with in their office didn't just treat me, they provided me with patient education each step of the way which is something critically needed in ever area of medical care. more

Being a health professional I really found Dr. B's running commentary interesting and a diversion too...the procedure basically was pretty painless after the injections..I think my procedure was a little difficult but everyone was patient and dedicated to a good result...I felt in good hands at all times..Thanks to all more

Tooth Pain 7/18/2011

Saw Dr Burros for a tooth that has been bothering me, thinking I required a root canal. He did several tests, none showing the need for the procedure, could not have been kinder and more explanatory. Sent me home without any work actually being done and I will return if the tooth continues to be bothersome. This was my first time at SAE and could not have been more satisfied with the treatment, from the first phone call to set up the appt. to the actual meeting. I would feel a lot more at ease should I have to return. more

Excellent Job 7/16/2011

I was greeted by Dental Assistant Joel who immediately put me at ease as we conversed about our lives. Dr. Funk then answered my questions & explained what he was going to do & why. The root canal was done quickly & efficiently. Dr Funk gave me prescriptions for both pain & antibiotics. I left with a strange feeling mouth since it was numb on the right but normal on the left. Thanks for your help yesterday more

Everyone was extremely professional. From the front desk, to the dental assistants, and right up to Dr. Shroyer, I felt well-informed of the procedure, and was as comfortable as anyone could be considering the purpose was for an emergency dental procedure. The staff was professional, friendly, and calm. Dr. Shroyer's bio sheet handed to me even helped me feel better when I sat to wait. more

I had a very infected tooth that I was trying to save with a root canal to put a crown on, my regular dentist started the root canal and was getting into more than he could or wanted to handle (not sure.....), anyway, I left my regular dentist and drove straight to your location at 4pm. You took me straight in as this was an emergency and finished my root canal that was already in progress from my dentist. You saved the day and my tooth! Great job and no more pain!!!! more
