I bought my Forester through the Costco car pricing. The salesman and the rest of the staff were knowledgable and very helpful. They bent over backwards to answer all my question...

Worst

Bought a car from south coast. Great experience. Took it in for service; nice guy (Matt) and very helpful. Waiting for parts ( ordered). Left several messages. Haven't had one...

Engine light servicing 7/14/2014

I came in for a check engine light and parts were promptly ordered for me. However, when I called for updates of the ordered parts, I was told somebody will call me back with the information. But nobody called me back. I had to call multiple times (at least 5 times) before Ferdie, the service director was able to help me out. When the part did finally come in, the service was fast, efficient and professional. Thank you Ferdie. more

Dependable 7/11/2014

I waited while my car was being serviced. It took about 1.5 hrs for a routine maintenance (oil/filter change, inspection, car wash). They have wifi so I just brought my laptop and did work while I waited. Staff is very friendly and helpful. more

Good employees, not so great communication 7/11/2014

My car was in the shop for a month, i was told three different times that my car would be done at the end of three different weeks. nobody ever called to notify me that it needed more time, or that it was completed. I always had to call them to follow up. That is my only complaint about South Coast Subaru. Ferdie and David were great to work with. more

Pleasant check in process; easy and quick; friendly staff; work done correctly and on time; facility is clean and well stocked with coffee, water, and snacks. Additionally they're 10 minutes from my house. I will be bring my Subaru here for the foreseeable future. more

I came in originally worried about a check engine light and they nicely explained to me what they were going to do. When they found the problem they ordered the part I needed immediately and it was all under my warranty. They personally called me to let me know the part was in and set me up to come in an hour later! more

I liked my experience but so sick of the follow up harassment 6/23/2014

Everything was great but I am so sick of the emails and calls that come after I go to a Subaru dealership. If I had a problem I would say something. I don't need pointless emails or calls asking to give my opinion. This is what happens when you hound me. It makes me not what to take my car to a dealership anymore. more
