Installer named Gary I believe just left my house after switching our alarm to them from the old Brinks company. Now getting monitored for less than half of what I was paying plus they call my house just seconds after the alarm goes off, a welcome change! Very satisfied and I will tell people about them. I may even ditch my land line too since I really don't need it anymore because of the wireless monitoring. more

These guys, especially Josh in new sales, are simply awesome! I'm not going to ramble here but they got us protected after our alarm company suddenly goes out of business! They put us ahead since it was an emergency and their installer, can't remember his name, came out yesterday and converted us to their system monitoring in about 45 minutes. Very impressive and we're going to preach their good praises.Thank you , thank you! more

Almost gave up on these damn security companies and their tricky contracts but a co worker gave me the heads up on them so I did it, called them. Pretty clean deal it is and all i care about is if my alarm goes off, JUST CALL ME QUICK! They do so I'm happy. Less than half of what I used to have to cough up too. Pleased more

Nobody gets 5 starz in my book at least in the beginning but I will upgrade them one more if they continue to perform well. Doing great so far. I first thought the price was too good to be true but it is what it is. No extras for the cellular plan either which is good, one price for all. can't remember his name, but good instlaler and he was prompt and cleaned up nicely which is unusua these days. My old system was older than I was but they were able to bring it up to speed which just some new touch pads on the wall at about 29 bucks a piece, thought that was fair. paid the annual option and got another free month plus you get 2 free months thru angies list as well so pretty sweet. Do the math and its pretty nice packagae indeed. more

Gary came out late last night and diagnosed a beeping smoke detector that was driving us nuts. Feel bad now since it wasn't even their unit! Sorry!!! Very much recommend them from here on out. They didn't even charge us. Wow more

My mom saw the NBC story about them and i found them on google. The tv story i think she saw is there on the web too. Little bit leary of the low price but the response is plenty fast after a tripped sensor. i kept wondering when the secret charges would pop up but none yet, not bad at all. probably use them in my dental office as well once contract runs out on my other company more

Got name from my company's blog, colleagues seemed to love them. My boss said to add the cellular box to beef up security since intruders would just snip my telephone line anyway on the side of my house. Made sense, only cost me a few bucks to add and the monthly didn't go up any so thats good. paid them $ 55 for a quarter so I guess thats about right, $ 16.95 plus sales tax so apparently no extra fees so far. Guy did a nice job, took about 30 minutes to switch us from Brinks to them. Happy so far more

Even though they got a little tired of 6/5/2012

Even though they got a little tired of my hard bargaining and simply asking for some add on equipment for free, it was a very good deal indeed. I just had to explain to the rep that this is how it is done in my country. He got a little testy with me but overall the experience was very positive and i am impressed in how fast my phone rings when the security system goes off. I like this. They charged me $ 29 to replace an old touch pad on the wall which I thought should have been for free but it iss really a nice upgrade, the new one. I would use again more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ! NOT RECOMMENDED ! I have a bad experience with them. Friend of mine told me about this company, I went ahead called them without too much research. What a mistake ! they scheduled me for 9 am to 12 pm installation. My first thought is that the 3 hour window is kind of long, but if they can show up, I am ok. No one showed up or called during this time. I got a call at 12:18 pm from installer telling me he is 40 minutes away. I told him NO. I called the company and tell them if they can install it next day, i will be fine. I get refused by them with bunch of excuses. I am disappointed with this kind of poor customer care. All in all, I feel this company is not customer oriented, it can't offer the decent customer service. I am seriously doubtful about the good reviews from BBB or Angie's list. I want to do business with a company honor their commitment and take care of their customer if it made mistake. I like cheap price if the service is the same or better than others. But cheapness is not everything ! Quality is important too. more

I saw on my sisters Angies list account that they had 126 perfect straight A's and only 1 B which was questionable if you read the thing. My wife spotted this review site and saw the 'HXTA' review below and got to wondering ""What competietor does he work for, MAYBE ADT??? since its practially an advertisement for em! Lol. Anyway, Sean, their installer got us hooked up last Friday and we couldnt be happier. Plus, since he brings up ADT, thats who we dropped! And less than half the price too. Very delighted more

Awful customer service. They think they are doing the customer a favor. I suppose you get what you pay for.....cheap is not better. From what I understand, they don't even do their own monitoring, but outsource it. Pay a little extra, and sign up with a reputable company like ADT....they know how to treat their customers right. more

So long land line! 5/14/2012

Installer named Doug left a few hours ago and did an awesome job converting my 3 year old alarm pads to wireless monitoring and I just had the pleasure of calling the phone company and telling them to 'lose the land line!' It felt wonderful too I might add. Our neighbors three doors down just got hit and guess what they did before they kicked in the back door, CUT THE TEL PHONE LINE! We feel better and he did a good job, probably took a bit less than an hour and he cleaned up after himself too. more

Updated my old system 3/15/2012

Found them on Angies List, I had an old system and Jeremy came out and upgraded to the cellular unit as well as added Smoke alarms, new pad, new keyfob, and also a glass break sensor. Opted to pay for the annual plan and you get a free month so actually even cheaper than $ 16.95 when you do the math. I had researched many companies and although the upfront cost was a tad higher, I'll make it up in a matter of just a few months. I like the locally owned monitoring centre too, as most of the complaints I found had a common thread of problems with out of state (or country!) stations. I would use them again. more

dropped the land line 3/4/2012

Other than the one time cost of the cell unit (around 50 bucks) not a bad deal. With they were a little clearer about that upfront cost but i guess the savings are immediate considering how much we were paying Brinks AND the phone line is history tomorrow so overall, smoking deal. Took about an hour to get connected. more

Just one gripe 2/18/2012

Just one, wished they served Austin!! Kevin from ST arrived early for the appointment at our house in SAn Antonio and finished probably in about an hour. Good job and would use them again, especially if they ever work in Austin. The monthly price did it for me and the no phone line option is good technology. more
