For years this place has been doing the most amazing facials! At least five other people I know go to Skin Institute. Sheila is #1 in her field and does such a fantastic job! There really isn't anyplace that comes close.It's a charming place with attention to detail.The exceptional quality is evident throughout.The other employees are also very good,but Sheila is my favourite. Oxygen Facial 6/17/2012

The ""Triple Oxygen"" Facial is outrageous!! Ana washed my face with a rich oxygen cleanser that felt like silk & then worked her majic fingers all over my face & neck. After the most relaxing massage with essential oils, she applied PURE oxygen to my skin with a hose & spray. It felt like spring breezes & when she finished I looked like I had a restful sleep. I was fresh & bright-my skin glowed. Next time I'll try the hydrating body wrap-sound like another winner. The place is serene and smells WONDERFUL-fresh lavender. Here it is 8 years later & I'm still coming to Skin Institute! Why? because they still give the BEST facials in Miami. Everyone is so nice. My skin looks perfect. Imagine, in all these years that the prices have stayed the same-amazing! The facials and other treatments are simply the best! And I just love all my free goodies I get with each visit. It's the best 4/5/2012

All I can say is Skin Institute is the best! My face was always breaking out till Sheila made her magic hands fix everything. In a little more than an hour she got everything, I mean everything out! Just amazing how clear my skin ins now. It took a couple days to calm down,but then it kept looking better & better. It's like a miracle cause nobody ever made my skin look so good. I want it to stay like this forever.Now I'm using the skin cleaning liquid that she recommended and it's perfect. It's such a nice place that has that really good feeling when you walk in.Like you were meant to be there.They serve a healthy drink that tastes great & is good for you.Everebodys so nice and makes you feel at home. more

Skin Care Gold Mine 2/7/2012

Sheila and Tom are wonderful. They're so polite and courteous, I wish there was a Sheila and Tom in every business. I went in to get a microdermabrasion facial with Sheila, after she evaluated my skin she suggested a different facial. A facial that was WAY cheaper than the one I thought I needed. Why did she do that? Because apart from being an amazing expert she also cares about your skin, she's an honest person. I wasnt pressured into buying anything at all. I even got some great DIY tips. Sheila and Tom gave me and my mom free samples and insisted that I try them out before committing to buy the full size product. She gave me samples of products tailored specifically to my skin type and showed me how to use them. I will be purchasing full sized products, my skin responded to all of the samples wonderfully. I also got really great tips on how to keep my skin clear. My facial was 2 days ago, I had horrible blackheads and acne everywhere. I can't wait to go back, my face is so better than it was when I walked in. I didn't expect the results to be this great after just one facial. Sheila knows what she's doing, she's a very very knowledgable professional and I wish I had found her sooner. I recommend anyone who is not happy with their skin to come here, you will be in great hands. more

My Skin Loves skin Institute 1/22/2012

How I wish I found Skin Institute a decade ago! It has been the ultimate in skin care for me. My skin was transformed after one, yes, one facial! I didn't think that was possible. My once problematic skin is now my pride and joy! Shiela has solved my dilemma and made me happy to show my face to the world. I'm also taking her advice and avoiding certain foods; although I have been known to cheat once in a while! I see why clients here are so devoted;I'm a true fan now! I got the recipe for a few of the organic drinks to try at home,and yummy-yummy! The products are equally great and help keep my skin in tip-top shape. Every aspect is way above 5 star; they even take appointments late,very late and all weeked too! more

Wow Factor 10/27/2011

My sister and I made appts. for the Citrus body wrap treatment and scrub. A million dollar treatment! We both can't stop raving about Tom. Well, not just him, The whole place is a real treat! Where else can you get organic WaterMelon with basil drink? fresh fruit? Top notch service and the Most complete body wrap-just Wow again! He was the very best all the way. Now I want to go back and try some more things. Looks like they do many other things,cause the other people leaving were all smiling and glowing. I think we found Paradise. more

Great Skin 9/27/2011

They're right. get an appt. here as soon as possible. your skin will never look as good. The lady on the phone,Sonya is real nice and patient. She asks you different questions so she can get you the right person for you. I was lucky and got shiela,who did an amazing job on my uber-clogged skin. You'd never know I formerly had problem skin. She took her time,making sure everything, I mean everything was out, but still didn't leave me all red. I tried the products and fell in love with them.I wear my T shirt to the gym and have found other Shiela groupies there! It's a littlle hard to find,but totally worth it. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. more

Greatest costumer service 8/11/2011

I am a master esthetician in Mobile, Alabama. I have ordered custom peels through skin institute for several years now and I tell ALL my esthetician friends! Since it's mainly backbar that I purchased, there is no competition. I have trained several estheticians with these peels! They are ridiculously affordable and Sheila will personally answer any question you have! Each time I have called, Sheila either answers or calls me right back. This place is like no other! It's hard to find professional, educated skin care specialists. But if you live in Miami it's not far!! more

I had to write a review so everybody can know about my great experience. I tried some places but they never really cleaned my skin. They just rubbed creams on me and pushed me to buy their products. Not here. My cousin told me to make an appointment and I still thank him. Everybody's very kind and the place is charming. It smells like a fresh garden soon a s you step off the elevator. Even before you open the door.They gave me a drink and introduced me to Tom.He asked me if I had any allergies . First time anybody ever asked. Then he explained what I could expect with my facial.He used some cool machines,real hi-tech. But most important,he got my blackheads out and left my skin cool and calm. I guess it was the towels. He showed me how to wash my face at home and said I didn't need a lot of stuff,just my cleanser and some sunscreen.No need for tons of products. I loved the samples he gave me so now I bought some and my skin looks so much better. Both my partner and my sister are coming for facials now. We all have nice fresh skin and love the crew at Skin Institute. more

Miami's Best 6/24/2011

So many facials to choose from. I decided on an oxygen facial and fell in love. Sheila did such an exceptional job, that people stopped to ask what I had done! What they say about her is tru, she's the very best there is!My face was cleaned through and through, ,not so relaxing extractions,relaxing massage and then shot with cooling oxygen. It seemed to plump up my tired skin. The oxygen mask was effervescent. All these special touches make a perfect experience.I'll be talking about this facial forever.Now I understand why it takes so long to get an appointment.It's most definitely worth it. more

Go get yourself the best facial, right in No.Miami. You'll wonder why you waited so long. Its the absolute best place for anything regarding facials. True proffesionalism in a relaxing,immaculate cozy place. All healthy organic drinks and plenty of free samples to try out. But the biggest reason is the best ever facials. All of the people here do a great job. They take their time and tell you what theyre doing without rushing thru the treatments. Extractions, this is the place. They will get your face completely clean, no joke. I'm hooked for life and can't wait to come back. I really like the orange face wash,it keeps my face clear. more

Perfect Facial 3/30/2011

After my first utterly amazing facial at Skin Institute my co-workers were begging me to divulge my secret. No longer was I reluctant to look in the mirror. Now I see beautifully clear skin everytime I see my reflection. Its so hard to believe my skin could improve so much, so fast. They're all getting their facials at Skin Institute now! The tranquil atmosphere and professional demeanor helped me feel completely relaxed. I've never in my life had such a perfect facial. Shelia made sure I was comfortable and gave me lots of practical advice and products to try at home. This has truly been the absolute best my face has ever looked. I'm hooked for life. more

Wish I found it sooner 2/27/2011

If you have acne, call Skin Institute immediately. You will wish you did it sooner. It takes a while to get appointment,but you will be glad you did. Say good-bye to bad skin. Your search is over. No more TV products that do not work. No more wasting time and money on all the promises that do not deliver. Ask for Shellia and get your face looking the best possible. She will take her time to clean every pore and give you some good tips to keep your skin clear. It was hard to believe that one treatment could change my face and my life so much. I am so grateful that I found Skin Institute and that my skin is now better than it ever was. I love my clear skin and will continue to keep it that way. I wish I could give 10 stars! more

Still #1 12/27/2010

Well, it's been overt 6 years that I've been coming to Skin Institute and all I can syay is- they are still the very BEST in Miami! it alwys feels like home. Still a warm, cozy getaway, far from Miami's madness. Same crew, still working hard to make customers feel like VIP's. Sheila is STILL doing her amazing facials. It's incredible how she does it, over and over. Perfection at every turn.Gladys still keeping us super-smooth! Hubby and I had a melt-away couples massage last wek with Hilma and Tom that practically put us both into dreamworld. We didn't want to give back those comphy robes. (but they let us keep the slippers!) I keep coming back because everyone is so nice and they really make me feel special. This is one of those special place that you always go back to. more

Sheila and The Skin Institute Saved My Face!!! 12/4/2010

I had really bad adult acne, but thanks to Sheila and The Skin Institute, my acne is totally cleared up and I have no marks! Sheila gives the best facials! She takes her time with you (you never feel rushed) and always gets everything out. I always leave feeling pampered! The Skin Institute’s products are awesome too. I recommend their All Clear Serum for anyone with acne, it dries up any bump or blemish SUPER FAST! more
