Thank God for Spas. How did we ever live without them? There are many good ones in Miami but it seems like none can compare to this spa. Everything they do seems to come from love. All of the girls seem to love what they do and do their best to make you feel the joy. It's more than just a relaxing facial or massage, it's a warm personal touch. I'm lucky to live so close that I can try new treatments and products almost every week. Every woman should treat herself to a spa visit, just to unwind and smell the roses.Even men could loosen up and learn to relax. Pros: relaxing, delightful aromas, lovely staff more

The last review mantioned champagne & caviar-two of my favorites, so I booked a facial and gave in to a wonerful temptation- it was one of the best experiences of my life. After the maximum in pampering I bought a jar of champagne moisturizer to continue the feel. The cream shimmers and has lots of anti-aging goodies so I can look good while holsing off the wrinkles! Whatever you need to feel good is here. Heavenly touch for your face and body. And this isn't just a chick spa. My brother comes for regular facials and loves it too. I just tried a hot stone massage and it was just divine. It was my first, but surely not my last. It's even better than the Swedish massage. Pros: variety, price, atmosphere more

My Day 10/18/2005

Every 3-4 weks I treat myself to what I call, My Day. It's reserved just for me, so that I can cope with three pre-schoolers and a wonderful, but demanding husband. My Day at Skin Institute is different with each visit: sometimes it's a relaxing massage with Elvira, when I'm feeling decadent (and my husband takes me & picks me up) I have the Champagne and Caviar facial (with a complimentary glass of champagne!) When I'm feeling tottaly dragged out I go for a detoxafication wrap(trying to get all those impurities out of my body!) For another luxurios feel I have my hands and feet soaked in beautiful scented water, followed by a marvelous mani-pedi finished off with skin smoothing parrafin.All of these services make me feel pampered and renew me like nothing else. After getting the best color job I ever had I headed back to Aventura and kept my usual Thursday night appt. at my favorite spa. With my new fresh color job, I wanted something different. Something more dramatic. Lucky for me Shiela gave me a microdermabration facial that really perked me up. Instead of jst a regular facial she used the machine to smoothe my skin like a baby's butt. The cool mask afterwards seemed to plump up my skin like a juicy peach. Between my hair color and face treatment I have to say ""I'm lookin' good!"" Another New Twist 10/14/2005

Well, I thought I was getting the best facials and bodywraps here. Little did I know that the menu's been expanded to included to include a ""color light therapy"". Well sign me up. I tried the one for sensitive skin and it was the Max! This is the only place I've been to taht always leaves my skin fresh and bursting with light. Now with this color light my face looks even better. I thought it was impossible for it to look any better. Now I can't wait to try their new detox wrap and footbath. My aunt had the contour lift and looks young enough to go clubbing with me and my girlfriends. I LOVE taht they keep adding new treatments and the staff keeps learning new technology. Being a spa ""junkie"", I had to try this place. So glad I did! It's so warm & friendly, with a quiet, laid-back vibe. The women seem to float, rather than walk. The candles cast a magical glow, the music is soft & mesmerizing. The best of everytinh is the treatments. After a relaxing oil rub & a cacoon-like wrap, I actually started to snore!!!!! Talk about relaxing! My daughter loved her facial-now she's blemish-free, with a beautiful clear complexion. Skin Institute just moved to the Top of my spa list- I don't need to go anywhere else. This Is ""IT""! 9/24/2005

This place can't be beat. I didn't have any doubts, since it was so highly recommended. But it was even better that I was expecting; really ""IT""! The color light therapy was nothing short of sensational. You put on these cool googles and can just about see the red glow from the lights. After less than 10minutes your skin looks younger and fresher. How do they do ""IT""? It's like magic. I've got my youthful skin back again. You MUST Try It 9/14/2005

I was almost late for my facial because of the rain. I made just on time and I'm soooo glad I did. It was the BEST facial I ever had! All of the girls are extremely pleasant and make you feel at home. My bumps are GONE!!!! Not only that, my face is smoothe and clear. I tried the colored lights which left my skin glowing afterwards. After hearing so much about the place, I had to give it a go. It was even more that I expected. First, they truly know the meaning of customer satisfaction. After the most divine facial, I moved along to a magic manicure/pedicure that made me feel like I was walking on clouds. Just read the reviews nad you can't go wrong. Everybody raes about this place and they're right. It's great. I want to come every day just to try something new. They never run out of ideas. Everybody is super-nice. Ingrid gives the best foot massage. Best Birthday 5/27/2005

I used my Spafinder gift certicate for the most relaxing (fell asleep in the chair!) facial I ever had. The soft light of the aromatic candles, along with dreamy music & warm hands slowly massaging my face----zzzzzzzzzzzzz! Dreamland for me. What a way to spend another Birthday! What a good deal, not only for the price, but also for the expertise. Each of the technicians has their own specialty and they really know their stuff. Maria gave me a super spa pedicure with a great leg massage & parrafin-boy did that fel good! Ingrid buffed & sluffed me and wrapped me in a delicious aromatherapy concoction-my skin was never softer! Shelia's facial can't be beat-she geta all of your blackheads out and then massages your face till fall into a trance-like sleep. This was a perfect day- I found the Spa of my dreams. Not too big, nice & cozy, very friendly and lots of fun. The facial is the best ever. My face felt like buttered silk. After Ingrid finished her magic on my tired body, I felt like butter. Before I melted on the bed, she prompted me to the next room for my facial with Shelia, which was sheer bliss. I don't know how she did it, but she got rid of ALL my blackheads without leaving any marks. Before I knew it Ivna was brushing and polishing my toes to perfection. Talk about luxury. the moment you smell the aromas (even before you open the door) you'll be hooked. once you enter, you won't want to leave. these women have perfected the art of beauty. the facials are magnificient-imagine a champagne and caviar facial (for less than the cost of a pedicure at most other spas!) and the spa pedicure is divine-maria rubbed my feet till i almost fell asleep. after a few hors here you're ready for anything.
