my very smart boyfriend gave me a gift certificate to treat myself to a full ""tune-up"". i say he's smart because he finally bought me something i can use. i spent the day getting waxed, scrubbed & rubbed, polished & pampered. now i just want to look at myself & bask in my beauty. this little spot in north miami has it all- and the staff really aims to please-anything you want, they're happy to provide. the big spas could take a page out of skin institute's book. now that i'm smoothe, polished & without blackheads i feel like a million bucks. thanks guys-you did a great job! and thanks, Ray, you gave me a super gift that i won't forget! Secret Spot 6/25/2004

Make an appointment now before everyone catches on. This place is a secret treasure. They do facials, spa manicures & pedicures, body wraps, waxing & just about anything you can think of related to beauty- I can't get enough. Everybody is so nice here-and so professional. You're gonna love it here! They've got it all- quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Staff with ""golden hands"", plenty of variety, and best of all LOTS of new & exciting products-stuff you won't see anywhere else-champagne moisturizer, acne cleansers, even a cream that INSTANTLY erases wrinkles. Just sink down ino the comfy bed for your journey into a world without noise, stress, cares. Take a deep breath and let the magic begin. From the soft, celestial music floating through the lavender scented air, to the confident strokes of a master facialist, I'm swept away-far from obnoxious drivers, trying to run me off I95. I'm here, in peace, completely unaware of the world outside. The creams, lotions, and oils all feel delightful-stroked on by an angel's velvety hands. She's quiet-simply works her magic, kneading my knotted shoulders into suddenly pain-free muscles. As her hands glide over my face and neck, I feel myself falling, deeper into this dream-like state, hoping she'll never stop. YESTERDAY WAS POSSIBLY THE BWST DAY OF MY LIFE. MY FRIEND HAD GIVEN ME A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR THE HOLIDAYS, AND I DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TILL NOW TO USE IT. ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!! IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT- I GOT WAXED, HAD A SPA MANICURE (WITH SOOOO SOFT PARAFFIN TO FINISH) AND PEDICURE AND A DELICIOUS CHAMPAGNE AND CAVIAR FACIAL- EVEN BROUGHT HOME A PINK CHAMPAGNE MOISTURIZER. Acne Treatment 3/7/2004

The peels at this place make you look and feel ""brand new"". After just three treatments my acne has all but disappeared. It's a simple peel that doesn't even hurt. Afterwards Ana squeezed lots of oil and bacteria and magically made the bumps disappear! I'm using a glycolic gel at home to keep the acne away. My skin now looks clean and clear. We went for leg waxing and ended up having Champagne & Caviar Facials too. How rich! Looked and felt like two princesses when we left. Had to go to Marky's to buy EDIBLE caviar to remain in the moment. How perfect-caviar inside and out. That's got to be good for you. (oh, and the champagne was great too!) Slimming Wrap 2/22/2004

Now you can find Skin Institute in North Miami, too. Same great service & staff. The herbal slimming wrap was terrific. No sweating, just sloughing dead skin cells, rubbing herbs over entire body and a nice warm wrap. No need to rinse off, they tell me that the herbs keep working. No ice cream for me tonight. Hopefully with a few more sessions, I can fit into those Philosophy black pants that were getting too tight. Too Cool 2/21/2004

Just came back from North Miami - had a Ginseng Pearl Facial- that mask is too cool- really-feels cool on the skin & when Ana took it off, my skin was bright and clear. She cleaned, massaged and sprayed my face with great smelling ginseng tonic. After rubbing my stress away, she applied that cool mask-what a treat. Afterwards I decided to get an airbrush tan with Margaret-looks like I was at the beach for a week. Only took a few minutes and now I have a rich, bronze tan. oxygen for the face 2/20/2004

I just tried an oxygen facial. Wow, what a difference in my skin. It was kind of dull (late nights, smoking, bars, etc.,etc.) but after a little more than an hour of cleansing, squeezing, smoothing and spraying this amazing 100% pure oxygen on my face, I look like new. Apparently all the stars are treating themselves to oxygen facials to prevent aging and look fresher. Well, right here in North Miami I can get the same treatment with this great oxygen machine and serums for a lot less $$. Pros: innovative, inexpensive, not noisy more
