If you've been putting off getting a facial Stop and make an appointment for the best facial. Right on the marina on 135th Street is the ultimate in total spa experience. Best,best facials ever. Treat yourself to a relaxing massage while you're at it. You'll be hooked. Pros: Super facial, peaceful rooms, excellent service Cons: not one more

Yes, the facial was wonderful. Sheila has a great personality and I loved the feel of the place, they also had this great lemonade and refreshments they kept serving me. Unfortunately the massage was a total waste of time. I had the swedish massage which was a total joke. I didn't say anything cause I didn't want to hurt the girl's feelings who was doing it. It felt like she was brushing some lint off of me and I kept getting a bit of a sexual vibe from her which was a little unsettling. So much to learn .... I was very disappointed. Get a facial there yes but a massage, don't waste your time there's so many people who do it better and much cheaper. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there. I could go on and on but do ask for Sheila to do your facial. She was very sweet. In fact everyone that works there is very sweet but unfortunately their massage wasn't as sweet as they were. It's like winning the Gold medal when you get here. Just read the reviews. The last guy-jca998 said it best- this is the best -PERIOD!_ he was right on. I'm a gut too and I just started coming to Skin Institute about 8 months ago. My girlfriend always gets her facials and raves about Sheila. She was 100% on this one. My face never looked better-really clear looking. We even get massages with Maria, Patricia & Celia. Again, 100%. They know what theyre doing and all give 100%. I'll never go anywhere else, I'm hooked. Unbelieveable service in an incredibly beautiful place. Pros: most relaxing, great smells, excellent customer service Cons: nothing!! more

I've been coming to Skin Institue for about three years now. Before I met Sheila, I had gone to numerous other spas that can't even begin to rival the services of the Skin Institue. Sheila makes you feel like one of the family and she never imposes any unnecessary services or treatments. \r \r Spas are not just for women anymore, I'm a guy and I treat myself all the time. At the Skin Institute you never feel uneasy with a great atmosphere and ambience that puts you at complete ease. \r \r Try it out just once, and you'll never go back to any other spa. My girlfriend gave me a gift certificate and insisted that I have a Deep cleansing faciall. Well, she was dead right. Shelia got all my blackheads. Squeezed the heck out of my nose, getting all that junk out. Now my pores are invisible. She also gave me some tips to keep it looking good. After my facial cleansing I had an incredible massage with Ingrid. I asked for it hard and that's what she did. She made sure I felt like putty when she was done. I could have fallen asleep if they let me. The aromas were divine. I think it was a citrus combination with some lavender. It relaxed me almost as much as the soothing music and massage. After trying a few places that weren't what I hoped for I tried Skin Institute.It was pure luck.I want to return every month for the best facial. My skin is clear and getting better than it ever was. Extremely Incredible Customer Service 6/11/2006

No wonder Skin Institute keeps winning Best Of in so many places. There isn't another place that treats you like you're an extremely valued customer. I came here because my sister said it's the best place to get a facial. She was more than right about this. Each facial leaves my skin fresh and clean looking. The music is better than anyplace I've been. It's trancendental. My boyfriend & I had a massage Friday night and also enjoyed some great champagne. We left fully relaxed and ready to chill at home. They're open late in the evenings and bend over backwards for you. Look at the website to se all the cool services they offer. It's Miami's best kept secret! My freind recommend I make appointment for facial. I never experience this wonderful facial before. So clean when she finished. No more ugly pimples. Everything so pretty and make you feel relaxed. Even with so much squeezing for my acne. I will come in few weeks to continue so my face will be clear always. Pros: excellent facial, nice people, clean & quiet more

Where can you go for the best facial and most incredible mmasage? Skin Institute in North Miami. They perfected the art of feeling good. Each therapist works with passion and it shows. Totally awesome champagne and caviar facial along with a aroma therapy massage. A unique experience which everyone should try. Feeling awesome is great, but feeling it is even better. I was treated like royalty, even had a glass of champagne after my facial. I listened to the magical music and felt so far away from the stress of every day life. A big plus is that you can make late appointments like after 8pm. Pros: Awesome Service, Attention To Detail, Beautiful Music more

I love going to spas later in the evening. Late night appointments are no problem here. Of all the places this is my fave. I get A+ facials with Shiela. She makes sure I leave without blackheads or the usual redness you can get at other places. You can expect blemish free skin here. The body wrap is great to expel those nasty toxins that make your skin look so lumpy. See Elvera or Ingrid for outstanding massages.The natural products they use are always available in case you want to take some home. I love looking around at all the new makeup, serums and creams. The oriental candle display is zen like. You'll always find something you need, or think you need. Lots to choose from. Best of all you can linger with a cup of soothing green tea and not feel like they'll lock you in at 9pm. Pros: Best Services, Lots of Choices, Soothing Space more

Thrilling 2/4/2006

The City Search voting was exciting: I was thrilled to see that Skin Institute came out on top. They deserve it with their excellent service. I found Skin Institute on City Search almost a year ago and have been coming since. Although I started -and continue- with facials now I also get body wraps and masssges here too. I find that I can let myself go and put myself in their hands, wake up and find that I'm better than ever. Each trip is a thrilling adventure. Came to SoBe for quick vacation. Concierge recommended Skin Institute for facials & massages for BF and me. Excellent advice. We both got the best facial ever-better than anything in LA. Our massages were equally fantastic. Sun was hiding so it proved to be perfect way to spend a few hours indoors. Love the staff-and whatever aromatherapy they use should be patented. LOVE MY MASSAGE 1/16/2006

Got another great massage. Usually I get just facials but when I noticed that they have massages too I treated myself. Each time I tried a different masseuse and each one was great.So now I know that not only I can get get great facials but also the most relaxing massage too. There are various ones to choose from and they ask you what kind of massage you prefer. I feel years younger with all these treatments. I hope to keep coming until I'm too old to walk in. I fell in love with the microdermabrashion facial. What a difference one facial makes! Everybody at work asked if I hade anything ""done"". Yeah, right. I'm scared of needles and surgery. But this facial was over the top. No more large pores!!! I'm comming back in a few weeks for another one. I even bought a microderm cream to use at home between facials. I'll be looking 15 again before long. All the girls (Ingrid, Anna, Sheyla, Alvira, Sonia)..hope I didn't leave somebody out! are so nice. They make sure you come first. All the pretty candles, lotions & potions. Some for sale, some for enjoying while relaxing. Lots of different facials available, all with wonderful massages. If you want/need to feel good, this is for you. You won't go away bored with ordinary facials that you find at other places. Here you can choose what you want and know that their experts. Best Facials possible. Whichever one you chose will be great. My sister loves the Cold Light since her skin is so sensitive. My favorite(s) are the Tequila peel and the Champaine and caviar. (Maybe cuz I don't drink, I like to have it on my face!) There's always something new here-new products to try, new colors of lipsticks, etc. and lots of cool treatments-like the Hot chocolate Almond body scrub and Hot chocolate massage.The green tea foot soak feels as good as it smells.
