Best Acne Facial 7/10/2009

It took me a long time to find an acne specialist but I finally did.My skin is soooo much better now. I don't have to worry about bumpy skin anymore. I like the way Shelia explained the procedures to me first. I knew I was in good hands right away. She got it all out and then put me under this really bright light which she said kills bacteria. All I know is I dozed off for a little bit after laying under it. I checked out my bag of samples and tried the cleanser and shave cream. I be back soon to get more. Horrible Facial 7/7/2009

I have had monthly facials for most of my life. I recently moved to Miami and needed to find a facialist here. After reading all the good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Big mistake for me. Never have I left with scars on my face from painful extractions. What's worse is that I had scabs all over my face by the time I woke up the following morning. I don't even have bad acne! Maybe if your facial does not involve extractions, I would believe the great reviews. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Pros: Can't think of one Cons: Extraction nails more

Excellent Facial, Service 4/21/2009

If your main goal is to get a good quality facial at a great price, this is an excellent choice. The Skin Institute is not a good choice if you want upscale ambiance and amenities. Pro: The staff is very friendly. I showed up early, and they made me feel right at home while I waited. Pro: The woman that performed my deep cleansing facial worked so quickly and did a great job. It was clear that she knew exactly what she was doing. Pro: Very reasonable price. One hour facial was $60. Pro: Free gift bag with every purchase, including sample products and a t-shirt. Con: Run down building and a very cramped office. Pros: Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff Cons: Older building, small office more

Our couple massage and facial on Valentines day was nothing short of spectacular. We changed in to our robes and they gave us (free!)mimosas. First we sat together in the sauna and sipped our drinks then we each got these luxurious caviar and champagne facials- unbelievable! Great luxury that feels great. Next we went in to the couples massage room for a romantic massage that was matvellous. With the beautiful music and romantic candles, it felt like we were on a faraway island. There were other couples who looked just as happy as us. The quiet romantic ambiance filled the rooms.I couldn't believe how full our bag was with free gifts to take home. best facial in miami 1/1/2009

I can say one thing,this is the best facial in miami. I tried places from derfield to south miami and noone comes close. There's about 5 women and there all good. I like that they don't rush. They make sure to get everything out. Me and my 2 sisters come every couple months to keep our skin looking clear. It's the best place all around. Pros: best facials relaxing Cons: nothing more

When I got a gift certificate to skin institute i wasn't sure what to get. the woman on the phone helped me choose a package that turned out to be fabulous. First I had an oxygen facial with Sheila and it was fab. She was so thorogh getting all the blackheads out. The oxygen made my skin look so bright. It felt great! Then I sat in this sauna with mood lights-it was so relaxing,I almost conked out. Elvera then took me into one of the massage rooms and gave me a divine massage. She melted my tight muscles. It was such a relaxing hour. What a way to spend a Wednesday! I highly recommend taking a day off fo a few hours of pampering. You won't regret it. Not So Much 12/29/2008

I visited the Skin Institute for the first time a couple weeks ago. It is located in an older office building. The spa itself is very small, maybe 700 square feet. It is cluttered and very cramped. I wanted to relax during my facial, but the woman kept talking my ear off and some guy kept walking in and out of the office (which, by the way, you can hear everyone, as they use curtins as doors). I've visited several spas between Miami and LA and I definaely will not return to this one. It just felt like someone decided one day to open a spa. I found heaven 11/21/2008

This is my third visit and I'm hooked. The facials are the best I've ever had! Shelia gets every single blackhead out. I leave with perfectly smooth skin.She tells me what she's doing as she goes along.It's amazing that she can remove everything and leave my skin looking so good. The improvement is incredible.Now my skin is my best feature. I use Skin Institute products, which I love. I just bought the Clarisonic and boy does it make a difference! Really cleans deep. I love everything here. Everyone is always friendly,offerring fresh lemonade and treats. It's a beautiful place that's decorated to relax you and make you feel special. The robes are so soft and thick. I leave mine in when I'm in the sauna. I love coming and getting treated so special. It's heaven! So glad I found Skin Institute. Better Than Ever 10/15/2008

Had another fantastic microdermabrason facial at the top facial spa. Its just wonderful the way my skin looks and feels. It's hard to believe that only $80 and a little more than an hour my skin could look so great. I waited since July to come back for another facial. It was even better than my last one. This is great. Best service and results. I love the style. It's clean, comfortable, relaxing, everything you need to feel good. Even the free samples are cute.I use them to keep my skin nice. Moved from up north & needed to get my face in shape. Some guys from work kept raving about this place in North Miami. They all looked so good I had to try it. Whoa! BEST decision ever. I started with like the best facial ever with Sheila. She was everything they said-thorough and detailed and listened to me. Her hands were like magic.Then I made a reservation for a massage with Julia-Wow-she made me snore, it felt so good. I want this all the time now.Now I'm setteld in Miami and come every 4-5 weeks not just for better skin but to relax and feel good. They always have a cold organic tea or cucumber-lemonade to drink along with healthy snacks . It's all about the client. Even the soft music is available to take home. The hi-tech equipment is really cool, especially the LED lights & oxygen machine. You can try different facials like micro-dermabrasion or some othet ones with caviar & other good stuff all for lmuch less than $100. You go to look better, but you'll also feel better with all the pampering. They do it special and they are experts. Pros: A++++++service,skill,mood Cons: can't find one thing more

The facial is amazing. All the dirt taken out and looking clean. And the place is so pretty. They have a lots of nice decoration. Some candle that smell like fresh fruit. Even the rooms are all smelling like some flower or fruits. It makes you to relax. I like the way that every one nice and full of smiles . They want customer to be happy so they treat you special. Many choice for facial and for massage too. Its a beautiful way to relax and feel so good. You will want to stay and not go home. I love every thing. no exagerration. this is the 100% very best facial anywhere. whatever you think about your skin this lady will make it look like a million bucks. as soon as I got off the elevator I could smell something wonderful like herbs or flowers. I went to the door and was met by smiling faces and some delicious lemon water. It's so quiet with the soft music and candles,everybody almost whispers. The oriental look is inviting.Shelia told me that it might be unpleasant removing my blackheads but she'd be sure to remove everything. she wasn't kidding.my face was never this clear even 10years ago. my skin had life and seemed to breathe for the first time. I was amazed that it looked so clear. I never knew it was possible to have such perfect skin. the strong red light was so bright but very soothing I could feel myself falling asleep. her hands massage my face and made it feel wonderful I have a new face that i am so proud of. and I took a bag of sample things to try at home. this is a place for anyone who wants to look better. Best Facial in Miami or anywhere else 3/12/2008

The facials my cousin and I received were amazing. She had a the deep pore cleansing facial and I had the hydrating collagen facial. We have very different skin types. They were both excellent and our skin looked so much better when we left. The staff was very attentive and made us very confortable. There was no sales pitch for products like so many other places. Samples were givin to us when we left along with a t-shirt. If you are visiting Miami this is the only place to come for facial. I definitely will return the next time I am visiting Miami. I bought the ""My Girl"" Package for my wife this past Valentines day.\r She came home from her appointment and could not stop raving about how they treated her like a Queen the whole time she was there and that it was the best present anyone has ever given her. Blackheads and acne are GONE 1/13/2008

I had the best facial because of my friend. After years suffering teen-age and then adult-acne I almost gave up. My friend Cara told me about this place and said my face would look 100% better. Sheyla did the most thorogh extractions I ever had. She got every bump and all the blackheads out. It hurt a little but NOTHING was left. She got all the dirt and junk out of my pores. I would love it if I found this place 10 years ago. Everybody was so nice, even the girl who took my appointment on the phone. She gave me excellent directions from Kendall and made sure I could take a 8 pm appointment so I wouldnt get stuck in traffic. Very thoughtful. The place is very low-key. Reminds you of a retreat. So quiet and peaceful. I left with a bag full of stuff to try. Excellent customer service and a Dedicated Staff 12/29/2007

Excellent customer service! In a place like Miami, where customer service is hard to find, this place stands out. I will not be going anywhere else. I had a facial and a body wrap done. The facials are amazing here, (it's what they are known for) and the body wrap was good. I am taking acne medication and they took that into consideration and completely customized my facial. After trying lota a places in Miami I found the best facial here. First they were so nice on the phone, booking a appointment for me on Thurs. nite at 9p.m. I was so happy, since I work so late in Doral and needed a facial desperately. Shelia. came with fresh berry green ice tea and a big smile. She then worked on my face for at least a hour and half. She explained how I could help my skin keep clear after. Everything seh did was so helpful for my skin. The cool lights calmed my redness down and was good for getting rid of bacteria, she told me. I was happy she explained each thing to me and gave me great samples to try. Julia gave my boyfriend a vitamin c facial that massaged lots of pure vitamin into his skin to make We love the way they try to meet all your wants. I like feeling special. We love you guys.
