Spring maintenance service on AC was performed in excellent manner. 5/31/2011

The service tech was very knowledgeable and recommended replacing a switch which was on the verge of failing. This prevented a failure of the entire AC unit in the future. I appreciated his advice and expertise. more

Service Contract Pays Off; My AC is fixed within four hours of my call to SSI 5/29/2011

I have had several service contracts with SSI for years, both on my home and a couple rental properties. The peace of mind provided by the scheduled 'checkups' and the same day service proved to be valid this week when my AC froze up. I called the office about 6pm and the service offered to page an on-call technician. We didn't need same-night service, so opted to leave that to folks who really need it and called back first thing in the morning. Drew was at the house by 11:00 am and had replaced a faulty part and recharged the unit by noon. Drew is also a guy who seems to love the work; he gave me detailed answers to any questions I had and never made me feel bad for asking. more

I was really, really pleased with SSI. 5/25/2011

My experience with SSI was great! Shane was the guy I originally talked to, and Johnny was the installer, and they were both great. They have both gone out of their way. As they were hooking up my units, they realized that my house had been wired incorrectly, and they have been fabulous in helping get the electric company to fix it for me. They have just been wonderful! I'm very happy with SSI, and I definitely would recommend them. more

AC servicing 5/23/2011

The tech they sent out, Drew, was very friendly and professional. He did a THOROUGH job of checking both of our systems and gave detailed explanations of the problems we were having. We never felt he was trying to sell us something we didn't need. Also, the people in the office are very pleasant, very professional and were prompt in returning my call and getting us scheduled. I am thrilled that we found SSI and switched to their service. more

Service Specialties was fine. They were great, actually! They were very well prepared. They gave you a rundown on all of the information you needed for the whole thing. We've been really happy with the whole thing. Both of the units we have were installed through Service Specialties. They fixed all the ductwork in the house to make them work with the new units, and they work well. They are good units, and they were installed well. So far so good! L. Herman more

Very professional and thorough. A complete job. 5/17/2011

I recently switched to Service Specialties Inc. after 20 years with another company. My next door neighbor used SSI for a job and was happy, and he's very particular. So when I needed my furnace and AC unit replaced, I asked SSI for an estimate. I got three estimates, and SSI were the most professional in the business. One company came and, God forbid, wrote the estimate in long hand and I couldn't understand what was written. The gentleman with SSI came with a computer and gave a formal presentation, in color and in laymen's terms. He dressed well and was very thorough. He gave me several options and that was that. The work SSI did was very professional and thorough. The technicians were courteous and clean. They put dusters on their shoes so there was no mess left to clean up. I would recommend SSI to anyone. My neighbor on the other side is even using them now, so they have three houses in a row! more

Great service for the past 10 years 8/7/2008

We have used SSI for over 10 years for our heating & A/C needs. Their service technicians are polite and do a good job. We've never had anyone try to sell us something we didn't need. SSI has also been great about emergency calls. It's good to have a company you feel you can rely on. I would definitely recommend them to others. more
