Great experience with very timely, conscientious, and thorough service 8/4/2014

I have used Service Specialties for both routine maintenance and, most recently, to replace heating and air conditioning units in our home. They're very responsive and able to a tech out here in such a short amount of time--sometimes the same day. He's really helpful when you can identify an issue and you can just streamline said issue. In terms of replacing the heat pump and air handler, the individual who came to make the assessments and recommendations explained to us in a way that was easy to understand. He gave us options for replacement that were very thorough: based on weather conditions in the area and how long we intended to be in the area. Everything was ordered and installed pretty quickly. Highly professional and excellent customer service 7/28/2014

Service Specialties Inc. has been a great company to work with and my family is very happy with the job they have done for us. I recently contracted these folks to install an HVAC system in my step-mothers home and that went very smoothly. She has been very comfortable in her home since the installation date and I feel good knowing she is safe and comforted by the service. This was the third system I had installed and the installation process has gone smoother and smoother in each instance. I have absolutely no complaints about the service they have provided me with and I would recommend them highly to anybody in the market for a new HVAC system. These folks do an excellent job, their work speaks loudly for them and I will continue to use them going forward in the future as needed be. more

Satisfied with work 3/21/2014

Service Specialties Inc. was timely, and they diagnosed and corrected a problem with the gas in my house that was difficult to fix. They also fixed some broken pipes. This was my first time using them and I was happy with the overall outcome. more

Professionalism is 5 stars 3/19/2014

This was my first time using Service Specialties Inc. to install two HVAC systems and a hot water heater. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. They did good work, but there was a problem. The next morning I discovered a water leak at the hot water heater where they soldered the pipes together. The soldering was a lot less than adequate, thus the leak. Luckily, I caught it early so there was no major water damage. I called their help desk number and was immediately called back by a technician that covers the weekends. He showed up thirty minutes later and repaired the leak. That was a couple of weeks ago and there have been no problems since. more

I've been with Service Specialties for 2 years. I have them on a maintenance program and they have replaced a heating and air conditioning unit for me. They gave me options as they went a long and that was good because they were able to minimize the cost. more

Service Specialties Inc. installed a heat pump for us after ours conked out. They were on time, and their pricing was okay. I think my wife had them do work at our house previously, which is what prompted her to call them for the heat pump. more

Susan Did A Fabulous Job! 10/31/2013

SSI was scheduled for a service call at a property that we manage. Murphy's Law seemed to be going wild and the technician left the property to move on to his next scheduled call. While, by all rights the appointment should have been re-scheduled, Susan was willing to go the extra mile and make sure that our property received the service that was scheduled. Her initiative and professionalism were on full display and I (and the property owner) am very grateful for all of her efforts. Excellent! 8/7/2013

Two or three months ago, Service Specialties Inc. installed a whole new air conditioner. We've had contracts with them for twenty years. They do everything. They come out to do the six month contract checkup on the air conditioner and they do all the repairs. They're great! They're fast, very professional, and very, very nice people. I tell everybody to sign up with them if they can. They're dependable. You call them and they get right back to you and you don't wait around at all. They come right by and always show up on time. more

Service Specialties, Inc. installed a new zone system in our house. They split our current system up so that we had three zones in the house. So it was a lot of work, and they did a good job. They're a very professional business. I've used them for years. more

We used Service Specialties, Inc. to replace our heating and cooling systems. Neither were working so they came and gave us an estimate. The very next day they came and worked all day long. It was done by the end of the day and working perfectly. They replaced everything that has to do with the cooling system. They were professional and did a great job. more

Definitely better than anything else out there 7/26/2013

Service Specialties were easy to get a hold of and arrange an estimate. The guy that came out was very friendly very knowledgeable. He explained everything and I chose an outside heat pump unit. The installers did a good job. They explained how everything was and everything worked. Everything has worked great since then. I would absolutely use them again. As far as prices and quality they came out the best. Service Specialties Inc. is definitely better than anything else out there. They are fair and do a good job. more

Great service. 3/7/2013

Service Specialties was really good. We were having trouble with the furnace and the technician came out and diagnosed it. We agree on repairs but he warned me at the time that they might not be adequate because an old furnace meant further problems. He did the repair and when it was complete, it became obvious that repairs couldn't solve all the problems (as he warned). Service Specialties sent someone else out that same day and we discussed options for a new furnace. It was installed in a few days. They were here when they said they would be and did the work to my complete satisfaction. My wife and I are very pleased with the results. more

I would recommend them to anybody 2/4/2013

Service Specialties installed a heating and cooling system in my home. They also a variable speed furnace. It's really nice. It keeps the house uniformly heated and it runs quietly. The pricing was about what one would expect but you're buying the quality that they provide. more

They were very prompt to respond to my initial request for a quote and do an analysis of my needs. Once I decided to that their product and price was the best I could find, scheduling was easy. The work was done in a prompt manner, and when they came to do the job, they did it within the time they set. And there were no problems at all with the job. more
