I worked for this company for a couple of months. Their dishonesty is unbelievable! I can't tell you how many times I was told to tell the customer that their new unit or their replacement parts came in damaged, in order to put them off a few days or maybe even a week or two! So many customers were suffering in the heat of the summer!!!Sometimes at work, I would cry while listening to customers tell me all that they had been through with Greenway. My supervisor would always tell us that ""It is what is is"". I just couldn't accept that as the truth! I never understood why our department was called customer service, as we couldn't serve the customer any where near the way that they deserved. Most customers felt stuck because of their home warranty company, and they pretty much felt like they had to use Greenway, unless they wanted to call someone else and pay all of the bill out of pocket. It's a sad situation, but in time I'm sure that Greenway will have to do better if they want to continue to get the contracts with these warranty companies. more

The worst company and customer service ever! horrible technicians whom are extremely rude & inconsiderate of your belongings in your home.From start to finish was a complete disaster and from the rude customer service reps to the non professional technicians. This place is a rip off and will ring you dry of every penny you have.Its all scams and lies.! Proceed with caution when having to use this company!!! Greenway home services of Nashville is one of the most horrid companies you could ever call to have anything thing serviced, the technicians are inexperienced, unprofessional and off the streets , the owner hires people with no experience so, she can under pay all her employees , the representatives I have spoke to there especially Sonya are so, freaking rude, unprofessional , she sounds like a lazy fat slob who does not wanna be at work, they over price everything because all they want is your money out of your pockets , they could care less about the customers! I am telling you any one who would use this company for there rude employees and crazy prices is out of there mind! more

home warranty company contrracted Greenway for repair when my A/C went out. First technician left without repairing a/c (thought he fixed it), second appointment technician never showed up, third appointment technician charged $210 for a completely unecessary repair. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! more

I do NOT recommend this company. I called for emergency service (there was a fear of possible carbon monoxide leaking from my gas water heater). I had a contract through First American Home Warranty, but I was worried that the turnaround time would be too long for an emergency. So I call Greenway directly knowing they are the vendor First American uses, so I could get on their schedule ASAP. I called First American immediately after I called Greenway to setup the contracted service. Greenway did come out quickly (in about an hour) and after reviewing the heater they told me and my tenants that the situation was very dangerous. They said the unit required condemning. They went on to say they were surprised my tenants hadn't been feeling tired (suggesting they were being poisoned by the gas). Apparently the Greenway contractor didn't realize he was looking at a Home Warranty situation because Greenway home called me to schedule the work from the Home Warranty call after the resource had already left my house. When I told Greenway the service provide had already been there and given me the report for the unit (that included a need to install a new water heater and run new exhaust lines for a minimum of $2500). They said they would need to re-review because it was a home warranty. After reviewing again, they call me back and said the water heater was not broken because it was still producing hot water and recommended nothing to be done. After hours of back and forth between First American and Greenway Homes, I called Hiller plumbing and cancelled my service with First American. more

This company is a joke. As a former employee i can tell you that every positive review online is written by employees. The GM is an absolute moron and all they want to do is scam you and your home warranty company. Use Hiller or One hour. This company laughs at BBB complaints and treats customers like they are jokes. We love this company. They responded quickly and even though everything was not covered under my AHS policy, Greenway took care of it. If it wasn't for your immediate and professional response we could of been with out a/c for days. I know people give your company a hard time because you are right in the middle of insurance claims but my family and I really are thankful. more

Do NOT recommend-I have had 3 separate incidents, plumbing, AC unit, and appliance attempted to be repaired in the last 9 months- none of them have been successful. I had a double oven with the top oven working but the bottom broken, after they left neither have worked! 2 months without a working oven, finally got a second opinion to come look and he fixed it back to the initial condition. They had blown my control panel and left me abandoned- said it could not be fixed. more

After 1 year through AHS my AC and heat is still not fixed. They even sent a guy out and turned off my heat because of a crack in my heat exchanger, and the next guy just turned it back on which is a Federal Offense. These guys KNOW how to avoid fixing units and they tell you not to call AHS to call them which is against the rules with AHS. Luckily I recorded what the guys had to say and may file charges. more

This business is TERRIBLE. I have been getting the run around with them to fix my refrigerator that *they* damaged while repairing almost a year ago. And they have not done a good job fixing our A/C either. They have been to our house numerous times (sent by our home warranty co.) and every time I've had some sort of issue with their service. Had some service done on both the A/C and the heat unit in October and here we are again with the A/C broke not two weeks later. Every time I talk to Doug (the owner) or a repair man they lie about something to cover their mistakes. I sincerely think they do shotty repair work intentionally so they can keep getting insurance claim work. Both me and my husband are shocked they they can run a business this poorly and still be in business. Never again will we allow them to come to our house. more

The worst experience ever! Greenway came out for my air-conditioning on a Monday June 25. They tried to sell me additional services before even trying to fix the problem. They charged me 145.00 to move a drain, it appeared that the tech added freon, but he let it out right after.. Said he was testing the pressure in the lines. I contacted Greenway the next day as the air was not cooling, they said someone would come back out. It is now Friday and no one has been out and they keep lying to me when I call. They said, ""Oh you will be first on our list"" They have not shown up yet. This is dangerously hot weather today - 106 right now. I also asked for a refund since the air is still not working and it has been 5 days since anyone has been out - they refused. PLEASE DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. I'VE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AS WELL. more

Great Service! 5/2/2012

We called Greenway because of a bad outdoor faucet. They were able to come out on a Saturday morning, not affecting my work week. The faucet was great, but began to leak a few weeks after it was installed. Greenway handled this with no questions by replacing a faulty part of the faucet. They have called the check on me twice since then. Great company! more

Great Service!!!!!! 10/19/2011

My home warranty company uses Greenway and they sent them to my house to look at a waterheater that was leaking. I called for service on Tuesday and they were able to get someone out to me that same day! Not only was the office and the technician friendly, but I felt that I could trust them and they would do a good job. The technician went over some options and we decided to get a tankless waterheater !!!! The best thing was the price! We paid $3300 and when we called around they were installing the same brand, but for $400-2,000 less then the other guys!! The installers were great!! They put floor protectors out. They cleaned up behind themselves! The explained everything! Really good service, because when my waterheater was leaking I dreded to see who was going to be replacing it. Great service and a few days later they called to check to see how everything was going! They are a must!!!!!!! more

I've used this company quite a few times because they are contracted by my home warranty company (American Home Shield). I never had a problem with them until April of this year. I had a service call for three toilets and one sink in my house. The technician told my husband that the parts needed to fix the toilet in the master bedroom were discontinued and that he would turn it in to AHS. Well, it's October and this toilet STILL has not been replaced. I have gotten the worst run around I've ever gotten in my life. After not hearing anything for a couple of weeks, I called to check the status. They said they would turn it in and that I would then hear from AHS. After hearing nothing for a MONTH, I called back again and spoke with Doug. He had no record of me having a toilet that needed to be replaced. His ""records"" showed that everything was fixed. Then he lied and said that the technician that came didn't turn that in and that he no longer worked for the company. He said he would look into it and call me back. That was the first of five times he said that and NEVER called me back. This went on (me calling to check on it, Doug saying he was going to call me back and never did) until August, when I called AHS to complain about them and AHS called Greenway. Then Doug called me to set up for a technician to come out and look at my toilet again. He said that it wouldn't cost my anything (obviously because they were still handling what they didn't fix in the first place). The same technician that came before came this time (yeah, the one Doug lied and said no longer worked for the company). He remember everything that was going on with the toilet. And he said he was on sick leave, by the way. So, all that time passed when they could have just called him to ask him about the toilet a long time ago. So, after that, they were supposed to turn it in and take care of it that time. Remember, it's October and it's STILL not taking care of. So, by September, when I called AHS to check on it, and they said Greenway still hadn't turned anything in. I started calling and asking to speak with the owner. I have left 3 messages for her and SHE has never called me back either. So, now I'm not surprised that Doug didn't call me back all those times. He's just following his example. Two weeks ago Greeway FINALLY turned my toilet payout to AHS, BUT, they are showing that I owe a service fee from the time the sent the technician out to my house again. So, AHS is deducting that from my payout. I called Doug to get it fixed. His response was ""Oh! I see what happened. Mrs. Moore I going to take care of this for you right now."" Yeah, STILL hasn't been done. I don't want anything else to do with this company. At first I was going to just let it go, because they did fine all of the other times they came out. But now, I'm done. I unfortunately have to have them finish this out and fix the toilet because my payout would only be for $125. I don't see any plumbing company replacing a toilet for that cost. So the only choice I have is to either pay the rest out of pocket, or have Greenway replace it. I'm at a rock in a hard place. Either way, I'm putting Greenway on my refused list with AHS, and I will be informing everyone that I can about their service. more

My air went out on a Sunday and I called around town to try to find someone to come out the same day since it was nearly 100 degrees outside! I called Greenway and they were out to my house within 2 hours. The gentleman was neat, professional and better yet had my air running within a few minutes! more

MUCH IMPROVED 7/27/2011

I had Greenway at my home about 2 years ago and had a NIGHTMARE experience. We won't even go into that. The NEW GREENWAY came to my home last week because my refrigerator was not working. They came out on the same day I requested service, ordered a part from my home and were back in 2 days. My wife was exstatic. They have completely changed their ways in everything from field service to customer service. The gentleman that came to my home was incredible and the gentleman inside the office was even better. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!! 7/13/2011

I neede repair to my dishwasher before the 4th of July Holiday and I called my home warranty company who got me in touch with Greenway Home Services. I called them on a Thursday and they were out that same day and had the part on their truck that was needed! My dishwasher was up and running before my 30 guest arrived! I couldn't be happier! Call them when you need someone soon! They are really a great company!!!!!! more
