Service was great, but was disappointed that I got charged $250 for labor to replace my clean effects filters. A 5 minute job cost that much. I already paid $400, for new filters,...

What's going on? 2/21/2016

I get notices that I need to have an annual checkup to keep my new A/C units covered by warranty. Ok, fine, so I ordered the checkup on all six units a few months ago. Then when I had a breakdown, the tech found a bad wire and fixed it. All is good, but he says my capacitor is weak and something else is showing that it is fried. This is beginning to sound like Parker & Sons where they constantly find things that need to be fixed. I ask why the annual checkup did not find these problems and I am told that they only checked the heat because it probably was too cold to check the A/C. Well, that is BS because part of the service call was for the A/C not working on one unit and they were able to check that out. I go back to my checkup invoice and it says "heating units" so they did 1/2 of the job I thought I was getting at the full price. Seems like a ripoff to me. more

Since we moved from the Northeast to Arizona over 20 years ago, we experienced with three AC companies listed as tops for sales and service,and we found that Scottsdale Air beats them by over a mile when it came to a replacement of our two AC units, first in price and following with the service.Absolutely the BEST! more

Overflow pan replacement 2/7/2016

SCOTTSDALE AIR responded to my needs in a very timely manner. From my initial call when I spoke to a very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable woman who understood my problem and knew what I needed to fix it. The overflow pan in my return air vent had "rusted" through and poured water (gallons) all over my kitchen floor, which is engineered wood; needless to say, this just added more stress to what had already been a stressful day, but SCOTTSDALE AIR ordered me a new pan and sent two installers out to replace it, which was not an easy task, as they have to remove the blower fans, etc., but the two gentlemen they sent out to replace the fan were very efficient and professional. Since SCOTTSDALE AIR replaced my pan, I've not had anymore issues with water, even after the most recent storm we had a few days ago. All in all, they were great! more

had to pay full price for just an explanation of heat pump 2/6/2016

sorry I was charged the same fee as if I was having the system looked at. I only wanted the heat pump explained to me. The service guy was great and understand it's a company policy but there is a lot of competition out there.. more

Excellent 2/6/2016

I had a problem with a wire short. They "Robert" investigated it and with help was able to wire it to correct the problem and we have not had an issue since. Well done!!! more

Extremely Pleased! 1/27/2016

Rather than rip into the entire AC unit to find a leak with the refrigerant, an alternate solution fixed the "no heat" problem. The tech was on time, knew what he was doing, and whoever does the scheduling was very accomodating. I figure any business that's as old as I am has staying power - hard to remain in business very long if your reputation is based on shoddy work... more

Did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, for the amount quoted. Installers were very fast, and neat . System works like a dream, quiet with better air flow. I have used this company in three different homes, and its been perfect each time. more

fabulous experience in spite of $$$ 1/1/2016

Steve was the sales person and he seemed quite knowledgeable and anxious to meet my needs, not just selling the most expensive units. He was able to schedule my installation 2 days later even if it was a holiday week. Bob and Elogio were the installers, arrived as expected and started work after explaining to me what they would be doing. Those 2 worked very hard and steady for about 7-8 hours. Everything worked as expected. They even went so far as helping with a little painting around the old thermostat, door edge drag and did so with a smile. Bob explained the finished product with me, taking a picture of the gas heat unit in the attic (I was not going up there) and walking me through the outside air unit. They took every effort to make sure the work progressed in a neat and orderly manner and their clean up made it as if never there. more

After receiving comparable quotes, I chose Scottsdale Air over Parker & Sons. I felt like the Scottsdale Air salesman was more thorough in explaining the process and my options. And the installation crew turned out to be just as thorough - they went over and above in retrofitting my new A/C into the old with new materials and fixed some shotty workmanship from prior installation company. more

The technicians were great, except that they misconnected a wire, which resulted in the new unit not working 12 hours after installation. 12/24/2015

The technician on weekend call was great, and able to rectify the problem within a half-hour of his arrival. The new HVAC system seems to be working beautifully now. more
