I get notices that I need to have an annual checkup to keep my new A/C units covered by warranty. Ok, fine, so I ordered the checkup on all six units a few months ago. Then when I had a breakdown, the tech found a bad wire and fixed it. All is good, but he says my capacitor is weak and something else is showing that it is fried. This is beginning to sound like Parker & Sons where they constantly find things that need to be fixed. I ask why the annual checkup did not find these problems and I am told that they only checked the heat because it probably was too cold to check the A/C. Well, that is BS because part of the service call was for the A/C not working on one unit and they were able to check that out. I go back to my checkup invoice and it says "heating units" so they did 1/2 of the job I thought I was getting at the full price. Seems like a ripoff to me.
