I have used the services of Scottsdale Air recently three separate times. Once I had to have a capacitor replaced, once after a big rain and wind storm (when my kitchen flooded) the tech who was sent out indicated that my pan, which catches water overflow, etc., had rusted through at the seams. He repaired the seams on a temporary basis and said that the new pans were now made of plastic for this very reason. I asked him to order one for me, but after a couple of weeks and I had not heard anything, I called Scottsdale Air, and the young lady indicated they had not received a request for my pan to be ordered, however, she took care of that for me. When the next technician for Scottsdale Air came to install the new pan, which turned out to be "metal" just like the other one, and not plastic, I just sort of laughed and said whatever fixes the problem. Well, once the tech began investigating, and after he spoke to someone who was more familiar with my particular unit (the return air vent) it was determined that he would not be able to fix it by himself, that it would be at least a two person job, because the entire portion of the return air vent had to be dropped down out of my ceiling to be fixed properly, which meant they had to get on the roof and undo some screws/bolts in order to drop it down to work on it. As it has turned out, I have to have all of my flooring replaced throughout my home because the flooring that I had installed just a little over a year ago is no longer being made; therefore, I have to have new flooring, so all that remains to be done is for there to be coordination between Scottsdale Air and the restoration company so the work can be done prior to my new flooring being installed. I am overall pleased with the service I have received from Scottsdale Air and would have no difficulty recommending them to anyone I know.
