Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience at Scott's Auto Center in Cumming. I called on a Monday to ask about bringing my car in for some scheduled maintenance. They told me I would need an apt. and that they were booked until Thursday. I setup an apt. to bring my car in at 9:00 on Friday. When I arrived at 9:00 on Friday, the representative could not find my appointment. So, I again gave them all my information and an overview of what I needed done. When asked if I was going to wait for my vehicle to be serviced, I told them that my wife was outside and they could keep the car. I was asked when I needed the vehicle back and I told them I needed the car prior to rush hour. Having heard nothing (they told me they would inspect the vehicle as part of the service and let me know if they found anything), I became concerned and called Scott's Auto Center around 3:00 (6 hours after I dropped off my vehicle for it's 9:00 apt.) The representative I spoke with asked if it would be a problem if they had to keep the vehicle overnight. I indicated that indeed it would be an issue. They then informed me that "the technician" had gotten hung up working on another vehicle. When pressed, they admitted that after 6 hours, they had not even looked at my car. The representative told me she would have someone start working on my car right away. Since I had to take my son to Lacrosse evaluations that afternoon, I told them not to start working on my vehicle. I then had my wife drive me up to Scott's Auto Center in Summing where I picked up my car in the exact spot I had parked it at 5 till 9:00. So after the experience I had at Scott's, I am heading back to the dealership. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for. more

Appointments run on time & there not pushy trying to make you fix something that can wait for a while more

First time coming to Scott's. Addressed my issues in a timely manner despite the snow/ice storm putting them back a couple days. Their fixes were cost effective and took care of the issues on the first try. more

Went in to get a head lamp replaced they where very busy and I walked in they fixed it and two fog lamps with in 10 min and no change for bulbs !! I said really that's crazy ! Nice and clean more

Gina, the associate, kept me informed on exactly what had been found wrong with my brakes and tires. Even though it took longer to get the work completed, she kept me up-to-date on what was being done and the car was not returned to me until it was totally road worthy. Scott's does it right. more

Took my truck in for a wheel bearing on a Friday. No parts so it sat. Got it back Christmas eve it broke again same problem but also had a brake issue it did not have before. Took it back and they replaced all again for no charge. It took two tries and a week in the shop. I'm skeptical more

Scotts auto was introduced to me by a coworker. That was about 4 years ago and I take my daughters Honda Element and my Toyota Camry for repairs warranty replacements and oil changes. I find them to be honest. I like the phone calls they make to me when the job might cost more than we talked about before major work is started. I find that to be honest. The biggest issue I have with their business is that they are busy and it usually takes them the next day to complete the work on my car which requires me to leave my car overnight. They use brand parts and their labor prices are far more reasonable than taking my car to the dealer. I have NEVER had to return my cars to them for rework> They offer a 5% discount on labor costs if you pay cash. more

I've had several things done to my 2007 Acura TL Type-S at Scott's from a regular oil change to changing two motor mounts. They are always very professional, use high quality parts and even invited me back into the shop for a hands in display of exactly what was going in with my car from the lead mechanic. Highly recommend. more
