Love the car!!! 6/9/2010

Love the car so far - one week! We appreciate Patrick's patience as we came in looking for a Tiguan and changed to a Jetta Sportwagen. Patrick came in on his day off to coordinate with my husband's travel schedule so we could finalize the sale in under 24 hours. THANKS! We live very close so looking forward to the convenient service hours as well. Everyone was professional and we enjoyed speaking with everyone who answered all of our questions. more

Great respect from Schmelz! 6/5/2010

I was just in for the ignition coil recall. I didn't have an apt. but he and the tech were able to get me in right away. I appreciated the respect I was given by the service writer and the tech! It was a much better experience then I have had at Westside VW. I will be back. more

Hats off to Jon and the entire staff in the service department and also kudos to the technicians who have worked on my 1991 Vanagon. Their combined efforts are the reason this near antique is still on the road ! more

Great 20k Service!!! 5/27/2010

I had a great sense of confidence that my 20K service was done thoroughly and correctly. I especially liked the print out of what was done on my vehicle and all the notes regarding it to the extent of quoted parts of my conversation with the service consultant. I keep all my service paperwork and will help me remember the details of the vehicle over time. Almost like a family doctor would. more

Best car buying experience I've ever had 5/26/2010

I have been looking at seriously buying a car for about the last 6 months, I did my research and finally decided that the VW CC was the best choice for me. I have had very poor experiences in the past buying cars. it always seems to take forever trying to negotiate a price and I really hate all the games that are played at other dealerships. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how different things were at Schmelz Countryside VW! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The sales team was very informative and happily answered any questions I had. they also made it a very enjoyable no pressure buying experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking at buying a car! they have a great selection of new and used cars and I found exactly the car I was looking for! I don't know what all these negative comments are from, maybe things were different before but they are absolutely wonderful now! I love my new car and feel like I could be a VW owner for life with how happy I have been with everything! Just AWESOME!! :) more

Good service but hours could be longer 9/26/2005

We have gone to this dealership for a number of regularly scheduled maintenance visits and have been very pleased. We have never had a problem making an appointment, even on relatively short notice. They do not have as good of hours as the other Volkswagen service center in town, but we have found that they are very customer service oriented and explain work that needs to be done in detail. more

Great Service 8/20/2005

I highly recommend Schmelz VW for their knowledgeable and courteous staff. I have taken my car there a couple of times, and both times I had very positive experiences. My car was fixed quickly, and correctly. Overall, I felt very comfortable with everyone with whom I interacted—from the receptionist who made the appointment for my car, to the mechanic who called to tell me it was ready, everyone was very friendly and personable. more
