A shop you can trust 9/19/2011

I was very pleased with the work done and the customer service. I have to say as a female most male mechanics want to sell me much more than I can afford and try to talk me into purchasing things I dont need. As a mechanics daughter (even though he lives in another city) I often hate the way male mechanics treat me as if I know nothing. When talking to Roy and then later picking up my sisters car I was believed when I said what the problem was and only that problem was fixed with no up sales (for instance any other mechanic I have been to would have mentioned the check engine light and told me I wasnt safe on the road until they did further work even though this visit was for tire). It was very refreshing and I thank you. I will definatly be in the next time I have a problem. You have gained my trust. more

We've been dealing with Roy's for many years. Always prompt,fair,honest,and thorough. Good guys and keeping my 04 Jeep and 98 Chev in excellent running condition (150K and 140K plus respectively). I should get at least 300K out of both with Roy's help. Good shop! more

I had received a quote from Firestone for $1,400.00 Karl was able to clean the grease off of my engine and fix the problem for $177.00. I will ALWAYS bring my car to Roy Foster and I am telling all of my friends. more

Excellent Shop 9/15/2011

I have great respect for this shop, and will take our 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 to Roy's the very next time service is necessary. Communication was excellent, and I got a referral to a great electrician. Great location, and a very clean/organized office. more

Honest! Thanks... 9/15/2011

I had a service engine light on and you found the problem and did not charge me to reset the light. You said it was possible that the gas lid was not tightened all the way. You said to bring it back if the light came on again. I felt that you were very honest in the way you handled that problem. I felt like you could have charged me for the diagnostic and then "found a problem to fix" and charged me for that as well and I would not have known. I am very satisfied with the integrity of the shop and very satisfied with the job that they do. Thank You! more

Though I had went to you in the past for service and was not happy with the work or the cost (I found your shop to be quite expensive) I gave you another try on the recommendation of my regular mechanic at firestone. I am Now very glad that I did give your shop another try. You fixed my car much cheaper than the other quotes I had gotten and got the job done very quickly. I was completely happy with the service,the job,the friendliness of the staff and i believe you have redeemed yourselves with me. So for now on anything that Firestone can not fix for me cause they do not handle that type of work my business will be going to Downtown Service Center and I will recommend you to others. Thank You!!!! more
