Christmas Eve 2010. A day to finish shopping and wrapping and getting ready for Christmas day. Always a busy day, but as a working Mom, every minute counts even on a holiday. \r
\r
It is 9 a.m. and I am ready to roll. The kids are dressed. My to do list is done. I go into the downstairs bathroom and notice the toilet is about to overflow. I think ""this can't be happening now ..."" But, our dog is named ""Murphy"" afer the proverbial ""Murphy's Law."" And, yes, after a half hour of plunging, running out for draino, things seemed to be getting worse. We plunged and plunged that toilet, my husband's arm was killing him. (Oops, probably should have said ""he"" instead of ""we."") Then the bubbles came and we knew we were in trouble - big trouble. How could we find a plumber on Christmas Eve?\r
\r
We called Roto Rooter and figured our day was shot at 10:15 a.m. I am thinking about the pieces of IOU notes I would be leaving in pretty Christmas boxes ...\r
\r
Roto Rooter said they would be at our house between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. A very nice gentleman arrived at 11:15 a.m. and snaked the drainage outside of the house. He was done within a half an hour. \r
\r
12:00 NOON and we are on our way ... with peace of mind. Roto Rooter saved our Christmas ... fast and efficient ... and on a holiday no less.\r
\r
We recommend this company fully and without hesitation!\r
