Fast, reliable, honest, efficient 8/15/2011

The plumber sent by Roto-Rooter came within 45 minutes following my phone call following a minor plumbing emergency in our house. The plumber ""John"" quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repairs in a timely manner and with a cost well below what I was quoted by two other plumbers. In fact, the problem turned out to be much more minor than I had been told by another plumber and the cost of repair was half of that plumber's estimate. I have used Roto-Rooter in the past and will continue to do so. more

An excellent job done on 08/15/11 8/15/2011

When I called for a problem I had in the basement, the person who answered the phone was very courteous, he gave me a time window for the technician to come to my house. Eddie who was the one who serve the call came on time and solved the problem. He installed a new sewage pump. He cleaned all the debris accumulated in the sewage tank as well as the surroundings leaving the area nice and clean. Eddie represents very well the company he works for. more

today we had a major problem with a clogged sink. we called roto-rooter and the operator said that someone from the company would be at our long island home within the hour. The plumber they sent was andy smith, we was our hero!!!. He was extremely knowledgeable and very polite. He explained what the problem was and the options we had to fix it. If i ever have any issues with the plumbing i would absolutely ask for him. i would definitley recommend roto-rooters to my family and friends. more

I could not beleive how fast he came. When I originally called for a plumber on Long Island, I was told about 9am, I reveived a call to let me know he was running late and would be there about 9-9:30. I then receive 1 more call to let me know he was on his way. He came at 8:30, was very friendly, and fixed my problem withing 20 minutes. He also explained why it happened and what I can do to avoid these problems in the future. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 7/28/11 7/28/2011

We had a problem tonight with our plumbing. Whenever we used the water in any bathroom or the kitchen, the downstairs tub and sink would fill up with water. I called Roto-Rooter becasue they were the only thing I could think of. It was about 8:30 pm when I called. When I spoke to the woman on the phone I explained my problem and she told me someone would be there within an hour! I was completely shocked. I didn't expect that anyone would be able to get to us until at least the next morning. more

No more laundry water backing up in sink! 7/22/2011

Tim #3748 did a great Job clearing the pipes. We no longer have to deal with laundry water backing up into our kitchen sink. He was there promptly and was thorough. He explained everything in terms that we understood. Tim also left the place clean. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter and Tim for any plumbing problems. more

Fantastic service. I had pin hole leaks in my pipes that were beginning to flood my basement. Josh arrived in exactly 30 minutes as promised. He was courteous and caring. He advised me of a problem with my water heater that could have been a potential danger. His advice to get an electrician right away paid off as the electrician said there was a potential for real danger when water and electricity mix. Josh was right on top of everything. he finished the job in an efficient but thorough manner. I highly recommend roto rooter and JOSH!! more

fast service and thorough 6/2/2011

called roto rooter for emergency service. They came fast and stayed for hours to get the job done correctly. The tech showed me the problem with the camera, like a colonoscopy for the sewer. I was very impressed. Excellent work, even if a bit pricey, but if the job is done right, its worth it. more

Keith #3322 saved us Mother's Day. He showed up in less than 15 minutes much to our relief. Our basement flooded and with his expertise he snaked out the pipe going out to the street and the water flowed again! Keith saved the day. Roto-Rooter is first on my list to call for all our plumbing problems! more

OUTSTANDING SERVICE 3/24/2011

On Friday March 18th, the main sewer pipe in the cellar over flowed. The roots of the trees had plugged up the line. This is a condition that has no permanent solution unless you cut down the beautiful trees. Roto-Rooter has worked at my house since the 1970's. #59, Sherwin, the gentleman who perfoemd the service on Friday is the epitome of a dedicated worker. The roots had plugged the line to a degree that I had never seen. He kept at the process, never complaning, changing the razor bits, pushing and pulling , working with a vengeance. During this very long process, he was always pleasant and positive. When the job was finally finished, he cleaned up and left the vicinity cleaner than before, absolutely spotless.
