Every time we need service they consistently come immediately, no matter how late in the day (and it always seems to be late in the day). Employees are friendly, courteous, and clean. They always explain what needs to be done and are always prepared to correct the problem on the spot. Worth every penny. more

we had a issue with our drain going to the sewer in the street.Our plumber, Hank #3364,from the farmingdale office, was not only very helpful, but was also very knowledgable about items in my house that I didn't know about. He helped me understand the different plumning materials that were used in my house, and how long they should last. After he left I felt very happy, not only with his work, but his concern to detail.Thank you Roto-rooter, I would use you again if I ever need you. more

There was a flood in my elderly mother's basement and she called Roto Rooter. The technician, Bill, was very professional and polite, and explained all that he was doing. Thank you! The price seemed a little high, and I wish it could've been less for a person on a fixed income. more

Roto-Rooter service man, John-2613, was polite and professional. We live in North Bellmore, Long Island. We had an emergency, sewage backing up in the basement, at 10pm on a Sunday night. All the local plumbers we called had advertisements that said ""24hour service - 365 days a year"". ALMOST NONE of them answered their phones and the ones who did were EXTREMELY rude. John-2316 came over at 10:30 and got the job done in under an hour. WOW! We could not have been happier with the service. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and particularly their service man, John-2613. A GREAT PLUMBER! more

Fast 2/12/2012

I had a problem on New Years Eve. They were there within the hour to fix problem. Had another unrelated problem a few weeks later and they, agian arrived in a timely manner. Both times they where professional and courtesous. more

We needed a cesspool checked (and eventually drained). Roto Rooter has a long service history as a plumber and cesspool service on Long Island, so we decided to try them out. They came quickly after a call, cleaned the main line, and gave a quote for the cesspool draining and installing drain pipes. After calling them back, they came within a few hours and finished the job that evening. Work was fast, went according to the quote and description, and we have nothing to complain about regarding their work and professionalism. The price was not the cheapest but it was not excessively higher than the cheap quotes, and with a cesspool we figured we didn't want a cheap no-name service. All in all, a solid service call. I live on Long Island but work within the confines of NYC. I just recently retired from the NYPD. There has been several instances where I responded to calls for service when homeowners had disputes with plumbers and contractors. And the bulk of these calls are when the plumber or contractor dosent live up to or provide the services requested or promised, and you can see the arrogance of the contractor/plumber. It just makes you appreciate Long Island more because the services provided are higher quality and the worker more pleasant and knowledgeable. The services provided by Rotor-Rooter Farmingdale NY and Frank the Technican exceeded all expections. Frank seemed knowlegeable, concerned, and concientious. He responded within the time I was told, diagnosed the problem explained it to me and solved it. He took the added preaution of actually placing foot protectors on his work shoes so as to ensure the cleanlieness of the inside of the house.He was able to make a homeowners problem seem less stressful more

My washing machine drain pipe was overflowing, basement ceiling totally ruined and this was after a local plumbing company replaced pipes but never snaked clean. Then I remembered Roto-Rooter....thank God. My tech Luis arrived on time, ready and equipped to solve my problem. He snaked the drain, cleaned-up his work area and all with a smile. Luis informed me on how to maintain this drain and all drains in my house. Plus, I was given 6-month guarantee.....hooray! I plan to use them to install my garden irrigation system this spring. I will not hesitate to refer Roto-Rooter. Thank you. more

He showed me all the roots that had created a home in the pipes, explained how it happens. Toilet flushes like a charm. These guys know what they are doing, I'll certainly call them again. more
