Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drains

I have a home warranty and had a water heater emergency last night. My expansion tank had a leak that was pouring water into my garage. Needless to say the warranty company's "preferred vendor list" didn't have any one available for emergency service. The warranty company allowed me to contact my own vendor, and Roto-Rooter came to the rescue. The technician also noted that the nipple for my anode tube was suffering from electrolysis, and that I would need to replace the whole system within the year. They were able to convince my warranty to do the right thing, and they installed a new unit the next day. The technicians were extremely friendly and were great to work with. I highly recommend them. more

I called Roto-Rooter at 8:30am and they were prepared to send a team to our house in one hour. The team came to clear out our kitchen and bathroom drains. They were courteous, efficient, cleaned up so well that I couldn't even tell they had been there. They gave us tips for keeping the drains clear. Grateful for their good work. more

My husband was installing a new kitchen counter top and sink. He was able to get the counter top installed before putting his back out. He called Roto-Rooter and they said they could be here in an hour and look at the job and give us a price for the job. (others he called were charging a service call just to look at the job). Chalk up the 1st good news with Roto Rooter! Our doorbell rang in an hour and we met Robert. Robert is extremely polite, professional and down right likable. He gave us a quote on the job (and a senior discount) and rolled up his sleeves and got busy. My new sink is beautiful, deep and functioning great. There was absolutely no mess, Robert cleaned up everything as he worked. Put booties on before entering my house. I called and asked for a service technician on Sunday morning. I was told that it would be after lunch before someone could get to me. I asked if there was any way they could get here sooner since we had dinner guests coming at 6pm. I was told they would check and call back. Within 5 minutes they called back and told me someone would be there between 11am and 11:30am. \r Robert Sparks came and quickly solved our problem. He also gave us a few pointers on ways we could improve performance of our water heater, garbage disposal and overall plumbing systems.\r He was extremely polite and very knowledgable of his trade. \r Although we don't want to have more plumbing problems, if we do, we would welcome Robert as our technician.\r I also liked the fact that we didn't pay a service call amount as another service had quoted. We only paid for the work done. more

I failed to call when the thing started dripping just continued to tighten harder, what started as a two dollar washer needed could now mean cutting whole in wall and replacing the whole thing. Roto Rooter Plumbers: July 1, 2014\r \r I called out Roto Rooter to fix a clogged shower drain. We had tried everything we knew to get it flowing smoothly, but we knew we would need a plumber to get the job done right. Roto Rooter was out the next morning to repair it. They called when they were on their way so we knew when they would get there. The plumber was very professional and considerate and got the clog out quickly. I had the typical drains that were clogged up in both of my bathrooms. I could not get them to unclog using drain-o. The plumber was very nice and fixed what he could. I was very pleased with this service and recommend it to anyone in Nashville. I plan to use them for any further services! more

We couldn't even imagine how much the repair would cost, and definitely didn't want to deal with all of the out-to-get-your-money contractors. We decided to go ahead and get a free estimate and inspection with Roto-Rooter. First, the person answering the phones and scheduling was very professional, yet personable. Our plumber was the same. He worked hard throughout the whole day to install a new sewage pipe, and did a great job with it. He never tried to pressure us to pay for unnecessary service. The Roto-Rooter Plumber from Nashville saved the day. My tenants called complaining about water backing up in the garage and potentially getting into the house. Robert arrived 30 minutes after my call and snaked a line about 40' down a 4" PVC pipe that was blocked by debris. The problem was solved in moments. The price was higher than what I expected, but I was told ahead of time what I would pay so I can't complain too much. more

My tenants called me today because the drain pipe outside which is connected to the two drains in the garage was backed up and the rain water was flooding the garage area and threatening to go into the house. They were frantically sweeping the water outside and emptying a wet/dry vac every 5 minutes. I called Roto-Rooter and within 30 minutes they had a technician at the house and within minutes he snaked a line down about 40 feet of PVC pipe and freed the debris that was causing the blockage. They charged me more than I thought the job deserved, but they did quote the work before they did it and I agreed to the price. more
