Charged my wife $240 to do a 15 minute job. After some research found all other companies in area only charging around $120 for same job. Showed up to house in personal car with no tools, so had to use mine. Took 5 calls and 3 weeks to get an invoice. still no reason for the upcharge other than they are a big business... stay away and find a plumber who cares more

I am extremely happy with the job that Roto-Rooter Nashville completed for me March 26, 2014. They showed up the day I called about a leak in my front yard. Robert Sparks was my plumber, and he was very professional, respectful and personal. I ended up having to replace my water line because of worn out galvanized pipes. While it was a big job, Robert and the Roto-Rooter team made it all happen smoothly and swiftly with minimal disruption to my day to day routine. I had a new water line and no leak and no more high water bill within 1 day. Working with Roto-Rooter was a great experience and I would recommend them to my friends and family. more

On 2/27/14 I called for an appointment and Robert was on our doorstep less than 30 mins later, talk about quick! Great Plumber in Nashville! My recent plumbing Roto-Rooter experience was excellent. Like many single women living alone, I am always concerned that my ignorance will be taken advantage of and cost is always a factor. I normally use the same plumber, but when my kitchen sink began leaking at the water supply line my plumber was unavailable and it could not wait. I live in a very old building and I have never upgraded the kitchen plumbing so there was no telling how many problems there actually were. I called Roto-Rooter because they give free estimates no matter what day and time, while many others charge a fee just to come tell you what is wrong and extra for non-business hours. Once the technician, Bo, got here he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Bo was upfront with what had to be fixed, what should be fixed as a preventive measure, and what was fine to leave as is. He also showed me how to make minor repairs myself to save money in the future! When it was all said and done, I was very happy with the service and the cost. I even told my plumber what I was charged and the work that was done and he verified that it was a great deal! I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone who is plumbing ignorant and wants the job done right for a fair price. more

Ah yes, the horrible gurgling sound of a backed up drain and toilets! Ugh! Saturday morning on New Years Eve. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get anyone before next week. I called these guys at 9 a.m. and Radeslav arrived at 9:45. He checked everything out, found the septic tank, dug up the access, snaked the main line, checked the tank to see how full it was, and then checked and double checked all of the fixtures and shower to be sure everything was running clear. He was also mindful of muddy shoes and took them off before going through the house. A great experience. I highly recommend this company. Oh, they also gave me a 3-month guarantee. more

The plumbing backed up in our house and flooded one of our bathroom floors about 11:30 PM. The floor was covered with ""slime"". I was horrified. Now what will I do? It is now midnight and I guess there will be no one available at this time. In desperation, I looked on the internet in hopes of finding HELP. I saw a Roto-Rooter advertising 24/7 service. I called and within about an hour Matt was here to find the problem. He ran his auger and found debris in the line - cleared it out and left me safe from a reoccurrence. This is the third time I have used Roto-Rooter Plumbing in the past year. All were week-end emergency service calls. They replied promptly in each case and completed the work in reasonable time and at a very reasonable price. The latest was handled by technician Roger. I had tried to change a leaking shower valve and in the process broke a fitting that sprung a much larger leak inside a wall. Roger arrived quickly, assessed the damage, made a honest damage repair estimate and fixed the problem, all within two hours. I just can't say enough positive things about my recent experience with Roto-Rooter and their technician, Roger Drury. I had failed to winterize my two story old house. My pipes froze and burst and I had multiple leaks up stairs and in the kitchen and a ruined dining room ceiling. But Roger turned out to be a plumber par excellence and soon had my water problems all under control. He also explained to me the necessary information I needed to prevent this type of disaster from ever happening again. Until he retires or moves away from the Nashville area, he's ""My Plumber"" from now on and I will recommend him highly to all my family and friends! The bathroom tolet and tub were backing up into the basement and the washing machine. Roto Rooter technician came to the rescue and got it working. He arrived on time and explained what he needed to do and provided a fair estimate. He offered to send out another person the next day to run a camera into the pipes to make sure everything was clear at no additional cost. He worked hard for his money and never gave up until the clog was fixed. Way to go Roto-Rooter. This was my first time to use this service and I will definitely keep your phone number handy for the next time I need a plumber!! more

Flushing never sounded so good!\r \r Two year olds, bath toys, and toilets don't mix! \r \r A small plastic penguin took a dive down the drain in celebration of a successful potty time. That little sucker got lodged in there real good after two days of plunging. It got to the point of no return and Roto-Rooter came to the rescue! \r \r The plumber arrived during the scheduled window of time and got right to work. After he assessed the situation, he explained what he'd have to do a gave an estimate on the spot. I found the price to be fair, but WOW!!! Did he work for his money! He broke his tools working so hard! He even ended up having to take the commode off of the mount! But he managed to retrieve the toy, and I've never been more pleased to hear the toilet fully flush. \r \r These guys were great! They were professional and offered great service!
