Love the service and communication. I called and was told how long until the guy would arrive, a time frame for that arrival, and his name to confirm with him. He was on time, fixed my clogged and leaky toilet quickly and the bathroom was picked up when he left. He explained what he could do before he did it and what he found when he did the work. Great company to work with. And all was done in 1-1.5 hours. Terrific. more

We had two basement drains backup putting the washer and dryer out of commission until the drains could be cleared. I called Roto Rooter and they were very sensitive to the problem and acted with a real sense of urgency just as I would have hoped. They could have gotten someone out to the house that afternoon but due to my prior commitments I requested a scheduled appointment the very next day.\r The technician arrived the next day on time, was courteous and wore shoe booties to protect our floors. He got the equipment in the house without disrupting anything and finished the job quickly. He explained to me what he had found and done and felt comfortable all would be fine. He reviewed the companies 6 month warranty and set me at ease. more

We had water coming into our basement and called Roto-Rooter. They were there within 30 minutes and cleaned out our basement drain within 45 minutes. They were fantastic!! They were highly professional and very reasonable in their costs. We would highly recommend this service to anyone requiring plumbing service and in an emergency they are the best!! more

Roto-rooter plumbers, Columbus OH 6/26/12 My kitchen sink and bathroom sink were backed up and roto-rooter came out to snake the line and fit the garbage disposal. Our plumber was very polite and informative. He quickly fixed our problem. We did have to wait for service for 3 hours before they came out and did have to call after they were an hour late but our in-house service was great. Definitely recommend. more

My Grans toilet was stopped up and we thought it was the main line. Called Roto Rooter at 8:30 am and they arrived by 9:30 am. Was able to unclog the toilet and have her running within an hour. He took the time to explain everything to her and give her his recomendations on what he believed would help her keep every thing flowing good. When you have someone friendly and patient enought to explain to an 86yr. old woman as if she was his own mother helps to take some bite from the pain of the bill. more

Our Sump Pump suddenly began to break down. My husband was having to check it every few hours to make sure it was working. We called Roto-Rooter and they were very polite, first of all. We were able to get same day service. With other places we called, it seemed as if we might have to wait to fit into their schedule. Roto-Rooter came almost immediately. Sump-pumps are not cheap but our service man tried to keep the price down for us. We know because we have dealt with this issue before. He was polite and quick to boot which made this unexpected expensel a lot less painful. more

We knew we were going to have to replace the kitchen sink plumbing pipes and disposal unit, but a clogged sink finally forced our hands. At 9 pm, I scheduled an appointment online for 8-10 am the next morning. I promptly received an email confirmation. At 7:30 am, I received a phone call informing me John would be here in 1/2 hr. John did indeed arrive promptly, and after assessing the situation, thoroughly explained to me what needed to be done and what the cost would be. John was very conscientious about safeguarding my home from tracking in dirt and damaging anything. He was very pleasant and courteous, and repeatedly showed concern about my pets not being harmed or inadvertently getting out the door as he brought equipment in and out. After the job was done, John took time to explain how to protect my new pipes and garbage disposal unit. I have used Roto-Rooter in the past and will continue to do so. However, next time I call I will be sure to request John G. #1482!!!!! My 8 am appointment was wrapped up by 10 am! more

My kitchen sink was clogged. The plumber came to the house and snaked it in the morning. By that same evening without even using it, the sink backed up again. Needless to say I was frustrated. I had paid $239 for a service that was no good. Stay tuned there is more..... I called back later in the afternoon and a different plumber was sent out to the house. He successfully cleared the drain and did so at no charge. I was very pleased after the second visit. more

our kitchen sink was clogged, probably with food from our garbage disposal. i worked for about two hours with a snake that we had before i had to go to work. i was not successful. upon coming home from work i worked for several more hours, as i was a bit hard headed about calling someone fearing not only the cost, but also the amount of time that it may take to schedule up a trouble call. at around 8pm, i finally decided to call roto-rooter. they answered the phone after the 3rd ring, asked me what the problem was, and if i wanted to have someone out that night. i asked if there was an additional charge for this, and they said no. they quoted me a time of sometime before 10pm that night. to my surprise my phone rang about 10 minutes later. roto-rooter told me that they would have a plumber there within 30 minutes. i was amazed at the quick response. i had resigned to the fact that i might be staying up late waiting on a plumber. our plumber's name was Ray, and despite the fact that we were his last stop of the night, he was friendly and polite. we had printed out a coupon from roto-rooter's website, and he immediately accepted it. he took the time to access the problem, and went to work. within 15 minutes the clog was no more. he was clean, and professional through out the entire process. all said and done, it was definitely worth the cost to get the problem solved quickly and with a 6 month guarantee. i would recommend roto-rooter, they solved our problem within one hour of our first call. unbelievable, oh and ask for ray. more

Roto-Rooter did a good quick job of replacing some piping under my kitchen sink, and snaked out my clogged drain. They had just been here about 3 months ago to unclog my main waste drain, so they gave me a small discount, even though it was a different drain line. Thanks Roto-Rooter. more

We had a great experience with the Roto-Rooter plumber service in Columbus, Ohio. We needed emergency drain service at 10 PM because both the kitchen and bathroom sinks were backing up. Roto-Rooter does not charge anything extra for coming out so late or on weekends which saved us hundreds of dollars right off the bat! The technician Ray came out within the hour, gave us an upfront, reasonable price, and then worked for a couple of hours until he fixed the problem. He saved us many hundreds by not giving up on the situation (which was totally clogged drains). When an additional plumbing problem was found with corroded pipes, we were able to get a great plumber by the name of Ethan to come back the next day - at our convenience - and fix the job in about a half-hour. We have dealt with other plumbing services who seek to gouge a person for all they are worth, and it was very refreshing to deal with a company that works hard, wants to please the customer, and provide a good service at very fair price. The company always promptly answers their phones and are very prompt and courteous with the customer. If any plumbing problem arises in the future, this is the only company we will call. more
