our kitchen sink was clogged, probably with food from our garbage disposal. i worked for about two hours with a snake that we had before i had to go to work. i was not successful. upon coming home from work i worked for several more hours, as i was a bit hard headed about calling someone fearing not only the cost, but also the amount of time that it may take to schedule up a trouble call. at around 8pm, i finally decided to call roto-rooter. they answered the phone after the 3rd ring, asked me what the problem was, and if i wanted to have someone out that night. i asked if there was an additional charge for this, and they said no. they quoted me a time of sometime before 10pm that night. to my surprise my phone rang about 10 minutes later. roto-rooter told me that they would have a plumber there within 30 minutes. i was amazed at the quick response. i had resigned to the fact that i might be staying up late waiting on a plumber. our plumber's name was Ray, and despite the fact that we were his last stop of the night, he was friendly and polite. we had printed out a coupon from roto-rooter's website, and he immediately accepted it. he took the time to access the problem, and went to work. within 15 minutes the clog was no more. he was clean, and professional through out the entire process. all said and done, it was definitely worth the cost to get the problem solved quickly and with a 6 month guarantee. i would recommend roto-rooter, they solved our problem within one hour of our first call. unbelievable, oh and ask for ray.
