On March 23 at 5:34 p.m. I called with 4 inches of storm water in my basement and rising!! My sump pump was broken and drain was backed up. I paid Roto-Rooter almost $750 on Feb 18 to clean out my sewer drain which was backed up. Roto-rooter said there is a guarantee for their work. March 23 I called for help thinking what they fixed may be the cause of the problem. I called for help at 5:35 p.m. was told someone will get back to me tomorrow. I called at 8:45 a.m. the next morning to make sure I was on the list and about when do they see me being scheduled. I talked to Sheri, she said ‘someone will call you when they are on their way’. I called at 2:15 p.m. to see if they knew any more, again, I talked to Sheri, she said the technician is on a call and you are next – should be within the hour! Knowing it was getting close to the end of the day, I called again at 4:40 to say I was concerned it is getting late and I haven’t heard from anyone just wanted to make sure this was going to get handled, I now have 7 inches of water – what should I do? Sheri said, ‘the technician is still on the call he will get to you when he can’ – I said ‘it is getting late, are you sure he will get to me today?’ She said ‘he will call you when he is on his way’. At 5:00 p.m. Debbie called and said “we will not be able to make it today we will get you first thing in the morning” – yes I was pissed!!! I had all this water and GROWING!!! It is too late for me to call someone else at this point. I felt I had no options!!\r
\r
I trusted Roto-Rooter to take care of me. No One Ever Came!!! Hoping someone will come to help me in the morning! Friday March 25 – again NO CALL - waiting all day for Roto-Rooter to call – at 3:45 p.m. (two days later from my original call) Sheri calls to tell me a tech is now available. \r
\r
Too late – I couldn’t wait til the end of the day on Friday to have you call and tell me you couldn’t make it again and I would have to wait the weekend til Monday! I had called someone else who came out in 3 hours to help me. He should have been my first call on Wed. March 23 instead of Roto-Rooter!! I have a new plumber!\r
\r
I have requested a refund of $745 due to lack of service on a guarantee, 3 days of water damage, headache of bailing out 9"" of water, and finding another plumber. I should not have had to do this! The drain was plugged with a few left over roots that fell just in the right direction to cause a blockage.\r
