Worst

I thought the price was way to high. How do you go from a $99 special to a total charge of $288.93? And they charge $49 just to come out and look?? They should adjust their prices...

Roto-Rooter Plumbers April 3, 2012 4/4/2012

Had problems with main drain backing up intermittently and leaking faucet in kitchen. Looking for plumber in Detroit and Roto Rooter seemed a logical choice. Very professional company from booking service to end of job. The company gives their guys all the time needed to do the job right the first time. Eric was great, he replaced my kitchen faucet and cleared the main drain. He also discussed means to prevent problems in future. They offer a decent warranty on their work. I will definately use this company again. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers, march 16, 2012 3/26/2012

In Detroit area: Called to get jetting since our basement was flooded. SOOOO glad they sent a service technician named Kyle at the last minute. He came at 3:30pm to help us out and stayed til 8pm!! This plumbing job was intense and the roots were really bad. He went above the call of duty to make sure we were taken care of so we could have running water again that day, instead of making us wait til Monday, even though it meant staying past normal working hours. Thanks Kyle! more

Called Roto-Rooter and got an immediate time for service call. Service technician Erik Fox # 363 arrived promptly, assessed clogged sink problem, explained what steps were necessary to resolve problem, got approval to proceed. Work was done efficiently with recommendations on how to maintain drains using Roto-Rooter drain cleaner. We were satisfied with performance of work, courtesy of technician, and would recommend to anyone needing immediate plumbing service. We even got a senior citizens discount - always a good thing! more

Superb Service 3/17/2012

After unsuccessfully trying to unclog a bathtub drain pipe, we called Roto Rooter. Aaron, technician number 377, was very prompt and efficient, arriving less than an hour on a Saturday morning after we made the call. By the early afternoon, we had a new drain pipe installed and the basement was cleaned up. We would certainly recommend Roto Rooter for Detroit-area residents in need of a plumber. more

Technician Aaron R (#385) was awesome. I had another company out to snake a basement drain, the problem still persisted, I was told I would need break up my basement floor. I called Roto-Rootter Plumbers, Aaron found the problem & corrected it, everything he did was explained to me in detail prior, not only did he solve the issue but saved me from the stress of breaking up my floor which didnt need to be done to begin with..Aaron was a godsend for me..being unemployed he saved me a great deal of stress, money & time. He gave recommendations for the future & stands behind his work...EXCELLENT Service for me I'm extremely happy with the work done..courtious, friendly, made sure I was completely satisfied...I am!!!..Thank you Aaron!! Definatly will use Roto-Rooter Plumbers again & will gladly recommend to family & friends! more

Terrific Great!!! 3/14/2012

I was hesitant to contact Roto Rooter because I thought it would be pricey because II've already went through Contractor-Hell and was very un-trusting of the industry. The technician that came out ot my home; Aaron B. Tech #377 went above and beyond what I requested. I've been living without a kitchen sink for 4 months now and was concerned that I couldn't find someone to finish my kitchen needs. Aaron rebuilt my kitchen plumbing (all new) and I'm so happy with how everything came together. He was professional and very personalble. I would definately contact Roto Rooter to complete any additional plumbing services that I may need in the future. more

Excellent Service 3/11/2012

Technician Eric D. (#378) was very helpful. He clearly explained the prices for the work we needed done. He was pleasant and polite during the entire visit. He worked quickly and showed us what was causing our problems. We are very happy with the work that was done. Honest and Awesome!!!!! 3/9/2012

Plumber Aaron Rounsifer (#385) arrived on time. He made sure he covered his feet and equipment wheels before entering my home. He took his time explaining what was going on with my plumbing. He did a thorough job snaking out my basement. He also went the extra mile to return the next with the camera equipment to show where the problem orginated. I will highly recommend this company to friends and family. Thanks you are the Best!!! more

Great Service 3/6/2012

My son spotted water rising up from the floor drain and called me down. We used the mop bucket and the shop vac to keep the water at bay while I called the first plumber that came up when we googled plumbers in our area. I was panic-stricken and called Roto Rooter, hoping I wasn't making a huge mistake. Eric arrived 1 hour later, was thorough, gave me a price before starting the work, was friendly and got to work right away and insisted on cleaning up after himself despite the fact we were already mopping everywhere. They also gave us a great quote on fixing the plumbing problems that have been plaguing us for months now. We will definitely be calling Eric at Roto Rooter again to fix any plumbing problems in the future. Thanks Roto Rooter! You saved our basement! D. Freer more

Loved the online ease of scheduling service for a Detroit Area Plumber on a Sunday afternoon to have them come on Monday afternoon. John F #381 was awesome. He had his booties on each and every time he entered our home. Had piping replaced in basement. We used Roto-Rooter a few years ago will use them and recommend them in the future. Thanks for getting the job done quickly. PS Great not having to hear hubby cussing at the plumbing....again....LoL more

Best of a Bad Situation 3/3/2012

Unfortunately, the plumber who arrived at my home initially experienced mechanical problems with his equipment and was unable to snake the drain in my tub. However, within an hour and a half, another plumber arrived, provided excellent service and my tub is now draining perfectly. more

Our Roto Rooters plumber made a very unfortunate experience much better! We moved into our new house in Westland Saturday and then Monday our basement was flooding! I reccomend John, technician # 381 in the Detroit area! He seemed very experienced and helped us feel very comfortable through the whole experience. We enjoyed that he got the job done, but was still personable and polite. more

I called Roto-Rooter to come out and look at a leaking drain from my bathtub. The galvanized pipe had to be replaced (which I already knew). Dave came out and gave us an honest assessment of the problem, giving me an accurate cost and time estimate (he estimated it would take him three hours to completely remove the drain and add new PVC pipe and it only took him two hours). There was no pressure to sign a contact immediately. I have young twin girls and he was respectful of the noise volume, trying to get the loud work out of the way so they could go down for naps later. The job was completed with excellent worksmanship and Dave walked me through everything he did upon completion. If you need a plumber in the Detroit area I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter. more

Quality Service for a Great Price 2/21/2012

A Roto-Rooter Plumber arrived bright and early at my home today to repair a longstanding problem I was having with my bathroom sink. Roger was an excellent technician, very personable, respectful, and knew exactly what he had to do to get the job done. His customer service and his ability to dissect the problem quickly was beyond my expectations.
