The technican and his helper was very professional and friendly. He was quick to find the problem with our air conditioner and explained everything that he was doing. The price was reasonable and will always call this company for any issues with the air conditioner or heater. more

Job well done by R&S Mechanical 4/1/2011

Had a breakdown on the old AC unit,the Circuit Breaker would not stay in i knew this means trouble. Searched online for a service company,R&S Mechanical had the best Reviews, made the phone call,a service rep showed up checked the old Unit out,he confirmed my suspicion the old Unit bit the Dust. Decided to replace the 13 year old Unit. Arrangement were made when to do it,and from there on everything went like clockwork .Very happy with the service the 2 Technicians provided! more

R & S Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning was responsive to my inquiries. I needed to replace my electric heater with a natural gas system and they were able to do it quickly and efficiently. I also like that they stand behind their installments. I would definitely refer their services to others. more

Excellent customer service that went the extra mile. 1/13/2011

My technician worked hard to problem solve the issue with my furnace. He discovered the part that needed to be replaced and found it locally. When he went to pick up the part, the provider realized they were out. He quickly called another provider, who was closing soon. He asked the provider to leave the part outside and travelled to the new location to retrieve it. That's great customer service, and more importantly, we have heat again. more

Lost the heat during a very cold week. 1/12/2011

This company was the only immediate response I received. A real person answered the phone. A technician was dispatched, and at my house within 2 hours. The problem was identified and repaired within an hour. The cost was very reasonable. Totally satisfied, and I will call them first next time! more

They were able to help me when I needed heat. 1/11/2011

R & S Mechanical has been wonderful. Lisa called just yesterday to see how I was doing and to make sure I had heat. I was without heat for several days, and they rushed it through to get me heat. Because of my health I needed heat soon, and they were able to help me. I had used one of the guys who works with them before, Joe, because he lives down the street, but this was the first time I have used R & S Mechanical directly. My old unit just quit, and even though Joe tried to fix it the blower still didn't work, so we got a new unit. They were really good working with me one-on-one. They were very personable. They have called back and forth several times to check how the house is doing and to make sure I have heat. more

They did a good job. 12/16/2010

We had R & S Mechanical put in a new furnace upstairs. They came, got everything done, and from what I understand, they were very nice. The only thing that prevented me from rating them a "5" was that they did not have the invoice and warranty paperwork with them when they finished the install. So, I called and told them to bring it when they come back to change out the new control pad, but again they did not bring the paperwork with them. Otherwise, they were very thorough and they did a good job. The furnace is working fine. more

I got quotes from 6 other companies before going with R&S to install my downstairs package unit and my upstairs split system. Their price was the best and I was very pleased with the technicians, installation process, and the end result...a warm house. Will recommend them to my neighbors and friends. more

R & S quickly responded to our needs - replacing our old units and installing the new heating and cooling system/heat pumps within a few days (very accommodating). They were very helpful in providing information about what type of system would be best to meet our needs and was able to answer any questions that we had. Their Service Technician was very knowledgeable as to what system would best meet our needs in our home. R & S installed the system within a few days after our consultation. They were fast and very efficient. I had several quotes from different companies and was comparing the different types of AC/heating units and R & S Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning provided us with the best prices on the units. They were eager to assist with any rebates that we were also entitled to. R & S installed our two systems within 2 days and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend their servcies as we had no problems at all. THANKS R & S for a job well done!!! more

Good service. 11/1/2010

Since R & S Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning came out the air conditioner has been good. They had good service. I just bought the unit, and it does fine. A month ago there was a noise, but they fixed it. I have had no complaints other than that. The unit does great. more

EXCELLENT SERVICE 10/27/2010

R&S Mechanical provided excellent service in installing a new HVAC in my home. The two gentlemen completing the work were both efficient and very professional. They had the entire job completed in a day and a half and even vacuumed the floor after cutting space for the new vent registers. I would definitely use them again if needed, and would quickly refer my friends to them for any HVAC work. more

Very professional. 9/21/2010

I have had unique situations including an insurance thing, and then having lightening hit, and a flooded pipe. Also, the boards for the air conditioning were from a bad batch, so R & S Mechanical is installing the third board now. My air conditioning has not been working properly for the last 2 months, but that is really not their fault and has been out of their hands. Considering all the situations, they really have a grip on it. They have gone over, above, and beyond the call. They are good. They will do what they say they will do, and they have the expertise to do it. They are very professional. more

Professional technician who knew what he was doing. 9/15/2010

My neighbor recommended R & S Mechanical. I was dissatisfied with the service I was receiving from a previous company that I had used for years, so I decided to give R & S a call. They sent Joel out, and he solved the issue. I had a thermostat issue, and the other company had quoted me $2,000 to fix it. When Joel came out he told me that there actually wasn't a problem with the thermostat itself, but that the other company had wired it in wrong. He fixed it and saved me that money. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. I was thrilled with the service. The second time I called them to work with the freon in the unit. It was something Joel had suggested, so I told him to go ahead and do it. Once again, he showed up on time, was professional, and took care of the problem. There is another unit in my house that hasn't been working, and next I am going to have him work on that. He had suggestions on how to fix it, which is nice because the other company didn't even have suggestions and it would have been $20,000 to deal with it. I am very, very pleased with R & S Mechanical. I will continue to do business with them because they have solved the problems. more
