This mechanic is really great! He really saved my car. I have a pretty old car that I've put A LOT of money into already. When the check engine light came on, I thought it probably wouldn't be worth it to invest more money into it. So I called around to several places and explained my dilemma. Ronny was very honest with me and explained what I could do. I explained what I was experiencing with the car and he knew exactly what to do. He switched up my spark plugs in about 45 minutes. I didn't even wait that long, and it was pretty affordable. Much more affordable than having to get a new car, that's for sure! I highly recommend Autotech! more

I could not be happier with the decision and the place I went to for my BWM 745Li. The service I was given was outstanding and the car itself is in immaculate condition. The features, quality, and the price were incomparable. I did much research and spoke to different dealerships but BMW MINI repair was the one. All the cars on the lot were of high quality and if a person really wants to own a luxury high quality vehicle then BMW MINI repair is the place to go. I started going to Autotech a few years ago and not sure why Yelpers have had such a bad experience, but Ronny has always been a great mechanic. \r \r My BMW is almost 8 years old and definitely needing more work that I like these days, but Ronny and his guys always give me the low down right away. Sometimes the expense is hefty so they help me prioritize the critical repairs (allowing me to budget out the less urgent repair expenses over 1-2 appts).\r \r It works very well for me. They even gave me a free rental car once when my repairs took longer than they expected.\r \r I think they're a great repair team and am happy to see they have such a good rating on CitySearch.\r more

I went there to get an oil change and a light replaced. They tried to add on a whole bunch of bogus work. Beware. Everyone but Ronny is not crazy. more

My BMW develope coolant leak and check engine light on ? I was at work at FOX studio while filming and needed quick repair, I check around for reliable BMW repair shop who is also less costly than S.M.BMW dealer. I called this BMW place and asked if they are BMW specialty shop same as the delaer and I was given all the information which convinced me to let them repair my car, they send tow truck to pick up my car and call me later with the estimate which I approved. My car was ready the next day ,car washed and I got also free shuttle to pick up my car. I am very pleased with this BMW shop who is going to be my regular shop from now on. My Mercedes CLK had check engine light on with rough idle, I Google Mercedes Specializing repair In Culver City and found this amazing place which also was recommended by my co workers at SONY studio which is my working place. I called to verified that this place has the credential to handle Mercedes cars and I was impressed. I call AAA for towing my car for repair and received later at the day full report and estimate which was fair and I agree to do the repairs and fraction cost compare to local B.H.Mercedes. I got free loaner car and car wash. I am happy customer and recommend all Mercedes owner to come for visit. I will definitely come back. Thank you very much. more

My co worker at SONY Studio told me about this BMW Quality service. I came for my engine noise and warning light on at instrument, the repair was easy and economy compare to Beverly Hills BMW which gave me higher quote, I am happy customer and would like to recommend this BMW place to any BMW owner in Los Angeles. more

Went to get a check engine light code read. The car was running perfectly and the light had just come on. I was told that they would check the car out and be done in 4 hours. I went home and called them in 4 hours and was told the problems were so numerous that they could not be conveyed on the phone. 2 hours later I was emailed exactly 6 emails specifying over $3000 in ""required service"". I went back to the shop immediately to take my car and get a 2nd opinion. When I got back to the shop to take my car, I could not because all 4 wheels were removed as well as various parts from the doors (which still rattle now and didn't before) and engine compartment. This was odd because I was specifically told that nothing would be done to the car unless I approved of it first. They said the soonest I could have my car back was the next day at noon! Then the lies started to come out. One mechanic said there was a very, very small oil leak. Then another said the leak was big and that the car was unsafe to drive anywhere (like to get a 2nd opinion). Then I was told that a solenoid needed to be changed. They said that would be $1000; $250 for the part and $720 for 4.8 hours of professional labor. Having seen the steps to change the part myself online I knew they were lying because the part is clearly visible under the hood and takes less than 5 minutes for really anyone to change. I got out as soon as I could and will never go back. I just hope that others can be warned. Pros: I can perform the service 57x faster than the pros here Cons: Read the bad reviews too. I've been taking my 2004 VW Touareg to a VW Dealer for a couple of years. I have had a nagging problem with the car stalling and it never seemed to be fixed, no matter how many hundreds of dollars I put into it In fact, I've spent over $3000 at the OTHER mechanic, and the problem was never fixed. One visit to Autotech International, and my VW runs like a dream. They kept the car for a week, drove it everywhere, tested everything, and finally replaced what they suspected the problem was. Indeed, they were right! Best of all, the labor price was VERY fair and I was not upsold to get a bunch of services the car didn't need. If you have a European car, hell, any car, bring it to these guys. I'm never going anywhere else! Pros: great quality. gets the job done Cons: none! more

My 2006 745i BMW. It is still under warranty, but it doesn't cover the maintenance warranty. My car was due for a service, and the BMW dealership was way too high. I began to look on the internet for some BMW shops, near my area, and ran across BMW Repair I called a few places before I called BMW, but when I spoke with Ron he seemed so pleasant, and patient in the questions I asked, so I thought I'd give him a try. To my pleasant surprise, everyone seemed to be very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable, and safe with bringing my car there, The place was very clean, and I was given a lot of advice and information in regards to my vehicle. The service was quick, and the price was very reasonable. What I liked most of all, was that they didn't try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. They checked everything out for me, even some things I thought I might need, Ron told me I didn't. It's rare you find a repair shop, that doesn't try to rip you off. I should have looked them up on the Better Business Bureau (where they have 9 complaints, as of today) before going in. Routine brake pads needed, should be in the neighborhood of $500. Called me back saying the Mini needed $1,500 worth of work; it only has 18,000 miles on it and was just serviced! When I went to get the car, he had all of the wheels off and refused to put them back on until he was paid $200 for the ""Free"" quote. Shoddy and unethical business practices. I wish I have paid more notice to how the dates of the ""good"" reviews are all clumped together. Clearly faked. Unless money and honestly are not issues for you, absolutely no good can come from bringing your car to ""Rotten"" Ronny at Autotech International in Culver City. BMW MINI REPAIR is a fantastic place to take your BMW This was amazing, my car got stuck and I couldn't start it, I called BMW Autotech for advice and the tech asked if I have another key, I did try with my second key and car start right up, thanks, I will be coming again soon. visiting BMW Service for the first time, I'm compelled to write a review based on my recent experience. My BMW had been leaking oil and coolant and the dealer quoted me an outrageous amount to get it fixed. After a little bit of research I called BMW MINI Repair in Culver City and got a quote that was 30% lower than the dealer. I brought in my car and the guys at BMW determined that some of the repairs the dealer recommended weren't even necessary!! My car is running great and I ended up paying about half of what I would've paid with the BMW dealer. The folks at BMW MINI are prompt, courteous, trustworthy and really look out for the best interest of the customer. I got free car was and free loaner car.Thanks for the wonderful service.? BMW MINI Repair and staff were professional BMW master technician who were trained in Germany with all the factory tools and original BMW parts all work is one year warranty. reliable, friendly and gave me multiple options on how to deal with all the things needed to be fixed on my car. after dealing with other BMW shop, I found found BMW MINI Repair about a third of their costs. I had no idea where to go...all I know is that I was never, ever returning to Santa Monica MBZ which used, abused and cheated me for 3 years. I called several different places and felt very comfortable with these guys on the phone. They are friendly, honest, Professional,Factory Trained and all the Factory tools and Computer Scanner,quick and explain everything. My brakes were fixed in less than 24 hours, and my car washed when I picked it up Santa Monica MBZ used to return my car dirtier than I left it!. My AUDI had been leaking oil and coolant and the dealer quoted me an outrageous amount to get it fixed. After a little bit of research I called AUDI / VW Repair in Culver City and got a quote that was 25% lower than the dealer. I brought in my car and the guys at AUDI determined that some of the repairs the dealer recommended weren't even necessary!! My car is running great and I ended up paying about half of what I would've paid with the AUDI dealer. The folks at AUDI / VW are prompt, courteous, trustworthy and really look out for the best interest of the customer. I got free car was and free loaner car.Thanks for the wonderful service. I am just another person to complain about this shop. I phoned, emailed and personally dropped off a demand letter to him. I will update this with a nicer reivew if he agreed to refund my money for his services he did not provide. If not, I will see him in court after stopping payment on with my credit. Let me just say, I dropped off a non running car with him, and received a non running car in worse shape and $631 less in my pocket. Lier and cheater and with his son in the shop, he should be ashamed of himself. He provided no estimate other then a phone call stating it would be a couple hundred to take car apart to look in engine. He will get whats coming to him and his son is an eagle scout??
