Avoid this shop at all costs.\r

Ronny B. gave me the old bait and switch. My engine code was on, which I was fairly certain was due to a faulty oxygen sensor. I called around and this shop told me it was most likely a loose hose and they could take care of it for $90.\r

When I brought the car in, I was met by a sleazy guy named Ronny B. He gave me the smooth talk that he would check my car out and find ALL the problems. He called me the next day and said that there were several things wrong with it, and he would need it for a few days. He cited 5 engine codes, and said it would be pretty expensive. He cited the oxygen sensor, and a rough idle, and said it would cost at least $500.\r
\r
When I told him the I looked up the oxygen sensor online, and found one for $40 that I could change myself - he got completely irrate. He said 'WHAT, WHAT I do not deal with people like you. Look up on internet??? NO! Come give me my money!"" SLAM! He hung up the phone - not once, but twice when I called him back.\r
\r
Thank god, I took my car back. I ended up buying the top of the line O2 sensor for $90, which screwed in, easily. And, the rough idle was solved by a $3 bottle of carb cleaner.\r

Don't fall into Ronny B's trap - you're smarter than that.\r

By the way, all the 5 star reviews on this and other sites are clearly written by him, and he's obviously not smart enough to cover it up. You're smarter than to fall for that, too.
Cons: they will cheat you
