Jodi was amazing! I just got waxed 2 hours ago and I'm not sore or at all uncomfortable. As a first timer of bikini waxes, I was very nervous, but Jodi totally put me at ease as soon as I met her. She's a total professional, works fast and clean, and is a nice person to boot! All the glowing reviews about her are the gopel truth. She says the secret is in the wax, but I have a feeling that she's got the magic touch. I'm going to recommend her to all my girlfriends, but they'd better be willing to wait behind me in line! Pros: Lots of parking. Very punctual. Cons: NONE! more

how wonderful to get waxed! 6/11/2006

I've had waxes all over the country and I've never walked away feeling great until Queen Bee. More than the wonderful personality of the owner is the fact that I have yet to suffer from one in-grown hair this month since my wax. Not only is this a wax but the website offers the most helpful and insightful care recommendations. I debated whether to write this review or not only because I don't want even more people seeing Jodi-then I'll never get an appointment!!! But, she deserves all of the wonderful clients that visit her...go, get waxed and feel sexy clean!! Pros: parking's a breeze, clean, fast more

Fantastic waxing services 6/10/2006

My experiences with Queen Bee Waxing Studio have not only been good, they have been amazing. The owner, Jodi, not only knows her stuff, she is super fast and you hardly feel a thing. Her studio is spotless and the atmosphere is one for relaxing. I have terribly sensitive skin and have had not one once of irritation after a wax. She is impecable about timing and sees you exactly at your scheduled time. She also takes walk-ins which for those of us who come from NYC, know, this is normally a huge impossibility as most decent studios but at Queen Bee its a breeze. I HIGHLY recommend Jodi and her services. more

First Time - Great Experience! 5/30/2006

I've been shaving for about 10 years but got my first Brazilian Bikini wax today at Queen Bee. I was really very nervous but Jodi put me at ease straight away. It was over in about 10 minutes. I don't feel sore, or itchy, it was a great experience and I will be a loyal client from now on. I am recommending Jodi to all of my friends. Pros: No waiting, Very friendly, Great price more

Jodi made the entire experience very comfortable, nearly painless, and it was less than 15 minutes. She is professional and sweet! First timers and everybody else, she is the true Queen of waxing, so don't look anywhere else, trust me. Jodi did a fantastic job and now I can go on vacation with no worries. great! my first experience the lady i went to did such a half ass job. when i got to jodi she fixed everything up and made everything painless and fast but thorough and clean! when i mean clean i mean it was pretty sanitized. well kept private room. ill be going to her for probably the rest of my life. more

I wouldn't go to her if you sometimes have scheduling issues and have to cancel. To clarify, I did call her before the appt to tell her that I couldn't make my appointment, and I believe my reason was valid because I woke up sick and was stuck in bed all day. There was also a misunderstanding about another appointment. I thought I had rescheduled it for another date; she didn't agree. When I called a month or so later because I needed to schedule an appointment, she didn't bother returning my emails or phone calls. If she didn't want to make an appt for me, she could have at least told me so, but she didn't bother responding, which I thought was very rude. Best Brazilian Wax Ever 5/24/2006

Wow, these reviews are right. Jodi is the best! I have had many varied experiences with brazilian waxes from pretty darn good, to one hour of torture. Jodi was by far the best. The only question I had, was why is someone so gifted not charging more for her services? I was in and out very, very quickly, and considering I haven't been for a wax in months this was amazing. Best Wax I've Ever Had!!! 5/20/2006

Just moved from NYC and was referred to Jodie by some friends. I had been going to Elizabeth Arden in NYC for years and was terrified to try somebody new. Not only was I very happy, but I will be a loyal customer from now on. It was very quick, relatively painless, extremely efficient and very affordable. Jodi is the nicest lady, and it helps a lot when someone is in such an uncomfortable situation. The end result is wonderful, and if you keep coming back it gets better each time. I tried going to another salon after Jodi, and the experience was excruciating. If you can get to her, DEFINITELY visit Jodi. She's the best! more

Jodi is amazing! This was my first waxing and I didn't know what to expect. She put me at ease right away. She is very professional and makes it fun. I called a week prior and was able to get in as ""walk-in"", if you don't mind waiting about ten minutes or so. She responds promptly to emails, which was nice. She has upscale clientel from what I gathered. I've heard from friends how painful waxing can be and to be honest, this was nothing! I will definitely be a regular from this point forward!! The Best Anywhere! 1/12/2006

I used to fly back to the J Sisters in NYC for Brazilians. I endured extermely painful bikini waxes that were done in uncomfortable cubbies that did not feel private and were not soundproof-but I was desperate to go where I thought they knew what they were doing. Thank goodness I found Jodi-she puts them to shame. My Brazilian with her was virtually painfree in a lovely space with great conversation. It was perfect. Jodi is wonderful. She is truly the best anywhere. more

Fastest Waxer this side of the 5 FWY 11/20/2005

Who loves getting waxed? I dread it, but have to do it. Well, I found someone who makes it quick, which means less time suffering. Jodi was awesome. I booked my first appt. over lunch time. Calm & Cordial 11/1/2005

My waxer just retired and moved to Florida, which has proved to be a blessing in disguise. Jody works out of a converted garage in the back of her house, and I was welcomed with a bubbling fountain, British gossip mags, coffee and a cluster of chairs in a grassy backyard. The waxing room is reminiscent of a calming massage room, and I loved parking in a residential area and not dealing with receptionists or salon owners. The Brazilian wax itself was the least painful and least expensive I've ever gotten. I felt totally comfortable (unusual for me when getting waxed). Three cheers for Jody!
