Best Wax Ever!!!!! 10/16/2006

I just received a brazilian wax from Jody. She is nothing less than amazing. She is quick, clean and I walked out feeling like she was someone I've known for a long time. I have super sensitive skin and typically get bumps that last at least 6 hours. I have nothing but an extemely smooth bikini area. I am so glad I found her! Ladies, don't waste your time anywhere else, Queen Bee Waxing Rocks! Pros: the waiting area is wonderful-I wanted to stay there more

Better than expected 9/15/2006

This was my first brazilian wax and I expected it to be awkward, painful and embarassing. Well, it was none of those things. Jodi makes you feel so comfortable, explains what she is going to do, and then chats with you the whole time which makes it go by really fast. The Best Hair Removal Experience You Will EVER Have!! 9/14/2006

I went to Jodi because I desperately needed to find a new waxer in LA. A year before I went to Jodi I had my first brazilian wax at a place recommended to me in the valley. It was awful. Wax got stuck and additional people were brought in to assess the situation...haha, definitely not my idea of a good time. Well I thought that was going to be my last brazilian wax until I found Jodi. I was nervous my first time with her, but as soon as I walked into her yard I became more relaxed. There is the cutest waiting area outside under a large tree. There are magazines to read when you have to wait. She is the sweetest, funniest lady. The first wax I had blew me away. It seemed like it was only 5 minutes long. She is so quick that you hardly feel anything. Plus, she is delightfully chatty which makes the whole process a lot more comfortable. I would never want to go to anyone else. Pros: Comfortable, Clean, Reasonable Prices Cons: None...she's perfect! more

the ONLY place for a wax in LA 9/11/2006

Don't even consider going anywhere else!! I learned my lesson the hard way, Jodi was on vacation and I went to another citysearch-recommended waxing salon and as a result, got infected red bumps in the last place you would ever want them. 2 months and a $400 dermatologist bill later, with red bumps gone, I can tell you that Queen Bee is the ONLY place I trust for its cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism. It's worth the drive to Culver City, trust me ladies, you do not want to risk your goodies to anyone else!! Pros: Perfect more

Virtually painless Brazilian 9/10/2006

I have definitley had less than stellar experiences with Brazilian waxes. Last week I tried Queen Bee and it was a completely different experience. Not sure how she does it, but it's virtually painless. Also, it's one of the quickest I have ever had and the wax was the perfect temperature. I will never go anywhere else! Best Waxing Ever 9/4/2006

Queen Bee Waxing has been a wonderful experience - and if you can say that about waxing, that is really saying something! Jodi is very friendly and spirited, does a thorough and quick job, and the all-in-all experience is very pleasant! Even waiting the minute or two for the appointment in her outdoor waiting room is relaxing and peaceful. I would absolutely recommend Queen Bee Waxing to anyone looking for an experienced, personable, and only minimally painful waxing experience. Pros: Ambience, Quick, Painless Cons: none! more

BIKINI READY!!! BEST WAX EVER!!! 8/7/2006

The experience was just perfect. I've never gone anywhere to get my bikini area waxed before; I've always done it myself. Never again!!! I decided to make an appointment via email. Jodi responded quickly with an appointment time for me. The wax took less than 10 minutes, it didn't hurt at all, and there was no bruising or rashes afterwards. Jodi was extremely friendly and put me at ease right away. She made it feel completely normal to lie on the table with my legs up in the air and spread apart! =). Brilliant! Brazilian Beyond Compare 8/7/2006

It's all been said, but it's all true. By far the fastest, least painful wax, ever. (I've had more painful waxes *with* numbing cream!) Truly unbelievable. So glad I found Queen Bee on Citysearch. Cutest little place. Everything is immaculate too. And Jodi's just super nice, worked me in at the last minute, and so personable she makes talking to a stranger with your legs in the air seem perfectly normal! LOL! more

I had my very first brazilian waxing done by Jodi. She is so great at what she does. I must admit I was very nervous when the thought of getting a brazilian wax done on myself. But Jodi puts you at great ease and completes the waxing in less than fifteen minutes. The whole experience I received from her is so amazing. She is so professional, friendly, and personable. When I first met Jodi, she welcomed me and called me by my first name as if she already knew who I was. Then I told Jodi that it was my very first time, and she told me not to worry, it's not as bad as it sounds. Then we talked and talked about myself and her career, and the next thing i knew, I was done. That's how great she is. She didn't even allow myself to think about the pain. Her service is excellent, her experience in brazilian waxing is amazing, and her rapport with her clients is outstanding. In my eyes she a PERFECT 10 in brazilian waxing. Can't wait to visit her again!!!! more

Fantastic, the Best, I really can't say enough!!! 8/3/2006

I was really nervous the first time I went to see Jodi, it was my first time. A very good friend recommended her. The experience was so great, she made me feel comfortable and it went very well. I just went for my 5th appointment and I must say it was a wonderful experience, really! She is so fast and careful that I am able to get it done on a small break from work and come back without pain. And the best part is that she really cares about her customers, she remembers you, your skin, and makes sure you are taken care of. You can tell she really loves her job. I would not go anywhere else!! Pros: Great price and great job!! Cons: Not one! more

Jodi is the best. She makes you feel at ease and relaxed immediately, chats with you while you're getting waxed so the time flies, and does such a great job in such a short time. Her waxes leave you smooth and hairless... and there's no pain to speak of! I was always so scared to try the full monty wax, but her manner and skill make it the only option for me from now on. I would never go anywhere else! Getting in and out within 10 minutes makes it so worth it, and her pricing is far cheaper than anywhere else! more
