BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE (Jeff). Find a better option, very poor customer service, especially Jeff. I am in a maintenance maintained complex and didn't have a choice. They re-roofed and left debris in my sky lights. \r \r I took off work to meet them to clean and they did a no call/no show. We rescheduled (I had to go through the Home Owners, so no small feat) again taking off work and they were late so I was leaving and saw them coming. \r \r Instead of apologizing for first making the mess, two being a no show/no call, and third for being late, Jeff made excuses and then became very rude. \r \r I think they treated me poorly because I wasn't the Home Owners Rep but what they forgot is I am a bill payer of their service. \r \r The best part is my neighbor who manages commercial property and hires contractors witnessed Jeff's actions and said she would be certain never to hire Pyramid. more

I had heard a lot of good reviews about Pyramid roofing and when we got some significant hail damage, I called Pyramid, naturally. However, the sales guy who came out was in my mind, just a sales guy. He did not listen to what we wanted, he told us what he could do for the amount on our insurance papers. That was it. The first question out of his mouth was ""Do you have your insurance papers yet?"" and any attempt to get him to write a quote for me was futile. After 15 minutes of hearing his sales pitch, we could not wait for him to leave the house. Maybe Pyramid is a great company but this salesguy really represented the company poorly in my mind. Suggest consider other roofing companies.. pass on this. more

Working with Bobby England and Eric Fidler has been a pleasure. We built our dream home - and these guys were both instrumental in helping us achieve that. \r \r On two occasions, once the roof was installed - we had rare blizzard (the kind that happens once every 50 years) Where our home is located, the winds whipped snow into a vent. Eventually once warmer weather return - there were small leaks in the vents - due to accumulated snow. I called Erikj who sold us the roof concept, who called Bobby who serviced the roof install. Between the two of them as well as their installers - I couldn't be more pleased with their responsiveness to this issue. \r \r I have little doubt - should we need them in the future - which I doubt we will - they would be here with a smile on their face, and fixing whatever it was that needed to be fixed!\r \r In today's business world - that kind of customer service is rare. \r \r Michael Farris\r Platte City, MO Pros: Very responsive. I recently had to re-roof my house. After calling around Pyramid was the quickest to set an appointment for an estimate. Although they were not the cheapest, the salesman was more professional and he had answers to all my questions. They also had a customer service rep that met with me before the job and after, making sure I was satisified. The roof was put on sooner and quicker than I expected and it looks great. more

I don't usually leave reviews but thought it was something I should do in this case. I have used Pyramid on several roofing jobs and they have been great. Yes, there is a language barrier but the field reps have been really good with communication. I would recommend them to anyone. Pros: Good service Cons: messy job but got cleaned up more

I was very, very pleased with the service I received. After the job was completed there was a leak in the garage of my Blue Springs home. They came back several times to work on it until they found the source of the leak. There is a language barrier with most of the workers but the supervisory people, especially Joe Shephard, who is in charge of the warranty work was very good. They did stick to their agreement and did repair work on the inside of my garage. I would recommend them to everyone I know. They didn't forget me or ignore me. Some of you got caught in the Pyramid Roofing scheme. Hope you at least got 4 nails in your shingles as I have witnessed them only put in two (not good for wind) \r \r Pyramid did my roof about 8 years ago and I see they are still up to the same tactics. I had a leak about 9 months after install and they go back to what's on the contract that I/you/we sign....It says in bold letters but no one seems to notice it. It says ""all interior damage is excluded 45 days after installation date and owner is notified that any damage to contents will be be responsibility of the owner and his insurance company"" What does that mean? A 45 day labor warranty, and that's even if they answer your call. \r \r This Kansas residence got taken by some crooks in another state (Grandview, Mo.) I just had my roof redone, there was a hail storm last year , a lot of roofers wanted to fix it asap with just a little bruising, pyramid made the longest inspection then advised me to hold on , they continued to monitor the shingles and over time involved the insurance claims adjuster who was hesitant to replace the shingles. Well Pyramid was right and eventually i got a new 40year roof at 2/3 the cost of other roofers done over 21/2 days with no rush or shoddy workmanship, their roofers invoved me in every step of the way and made sure i was satisfied before proceeding to th next step.My new roof looks better than the original and have had no problems so far, i dont understand the negative reviews above but i bet they have to do more with personality issues than workmanship, if you need honest reliable and carefull roofing done, dont look any further. Also pyramid did not even ask for the insurance estimate, they have their own price, most roofers will do it for ""insurance estimate"" whcih is usually much higher than what it actually costs to do the work. Also a lot of me neighbors used other companies, they were one day patchup up jobs which were dreadful, i will not name these companies, just remember that your home deserves the best, demand it! I contacted Pyramid Roofing to fix a leak I was having in my sun room. Out of the three estimates I got, they were the cheapest, but since it wasn't a significant issue, I thought they could handle it. Well, they've been out to my house 3 times and it still leaks. In fact, yesterday, it was leaking in areas that it had never leaked before and now the rain is coming down the wall and traveling to the ceiling, which now has wet spots (before the leak was just coming down the walls). I'm not sure why it's so difficult for them to get it right - after all, it's what they do - roofing! So, when and if they come out for a FOURTH time, hopefully, they will get it right. Otherwise, I run the risk of having a damaged ceiling due to their incompetence. Another note, you do get what you pay for, the actual work that they did was terrible. The flashing, the sealant, was all a mess. Avoid Pyramid Roofing. Pros: Unlike the other reviewer, they have returned my phone calls, and have come back to repair the leak. Cons: Even though they do come out to try to fix the issue, the roof STILL leaks. more

I have never had a worse experience with any company other than Pyramid roofing. I called and asked for someone to come and look at my new leaking roof for 3 months and had unreturned calls. They finally came out, told me that they are not responsible for leaks, that my insurance company should pay for that. I pointed out excessive damage to our gutters and they said that they are not in the business of replacing gutters - just doing roofs. My husband looked on the roof where it was looking and they came and went on the roof and patched the roof with tar. They later came out and denied putting tar on the roof. They said that this isn't their responsibility and said that they cannot fix the leak without taking off the shingles, part of the wall around our windows and part of the window. \r \r I called and asked for a second opinion from Pyramid. This man yelled at us, said he didn't know we would expect him to bend over backwards and help us. He said that he wouldn't pay to fix our problem because it wasn't his responsibility and just didn't understand why we couldn't get this. He actually had the nerve to stand in our yard and yell at us, get mad and act in a more than unprofessional and undesirable manner. I told him that our neighbors wouldn't use them based on our experience and he said he then had no incentive to help us because we obviously just talk bad about them.\r \r We asked how they make the claims that they do in their advertising about customer satisfaction. He said that they have quality workmanship. I asked about the scrapes on our pavement, the loose siding, leaking roof and damaged gutters. He finally agreed to fix the gutters but nothing else. After arguing longer he said they may pay for the inside if we'd pay for the outside, but pointed out it would be expensive. We cannot reason with this man - it will most likely have to be handled in court. Keep this in mind if you consider using Pyramid roofing! Due to a recent hail storm in Overland Park we were forced to go through the grueling task of finding a roofing contractor. I called three roofing contractors and Pyramid Roofing was the first to respond the following day. I waited for 2 weeks to receive the remaining two estimates and found Pyramid Roofing to be the best value. Pyramid installed my 63 sq Grand Sequioa redeck in two working days while my neighbors roofs of the same size took betweeen 7-10 days to complete. Not only was the work completed quickly but the roof looks great. Pros: quick response , good value , supervised work more
