Clogged overflowing mess! 9/15/2016

Thank you to Yaru for coming in and fixing us up. He was very personable, looked at the problem, gave us an estimate and began to work. He was very attentive at any questions we had. Excellent service and Quick! 8/5/2016

Preferred Plumbing performed and emergency snake out service for me late on a Friday afternoon. They were quick to respond and performed their work as quoted. I could not be more happy with their service. Their technician named Ambrose was outstanding! I wouldn't hesitate one second to use them again. They really bailed me out. more

Excellent 5/11/2016

Dave (#10) and his assistant were courteous and thorough. The estimate was fair, and the steps required to clear a clogged mainline were explained clearly and in detail. All work was completed in a timely, professional manner and no additional cleanup was necessary on my part. EXCELLENT SERVICE 10/18/2015

I called Preferred Plumbing and Drain and they sent Tech number 10 Casey who was very professional and polite. He came to hook up a gas line to my stove and presented the expertise and ability to do the work efficiently. He walked us through the steps and procedures that would be in compliance with the city code on running gas lines in the home. I would recommend Casey#10 to any of my friends for his professionalism and knowledgeable work. more

Excellent service 10/15/2015

I was very impressed with Preferred Plumbing; I called to get an estimate to run a gas line. The technician Casey #10 came out he took his time and showed me what would have to be done to run a gas line in a difficult situation. Casey was very courteous, professional and polite. I will defiantly use Preferred a Plumbing again. more

Professional, Trustworthy, On-Time and Knowledgable! 7/26/2015

Michael and Gordon did an amazing job of fixing our shower drain leak without having to rip up our brand new shower pan. Showed up on time, very professional and thorough and cleaned everything up when finished. I would definitely recommend them! I have used Preferred Plumbing and Drain at homes in Concord and in El Cerrito and will continue to do so. more

Amazing!! 6/11/2015

Preferred Plumbing is amazing, best plumbers ever!! Let me start off by saying that I had a previous bad experience with a different local plumber in the area. I am an unmarried woman in her late twenties who just recently purchased a house. They had been dishonest with me and wanted to over charge for everything, and never fixed my plumbing. Joe and Carlos came in from Preferred Plumbing and were lifesavers! Not only did they fix the previous plumber's mistakes, they showed me what was going on, explained things to me in a professional manner and made it so I could understand what they were doing, the problems that the plumbing had previously, etc. The best part is that everything works wonderfully - better than it used to, and they were so polite and professional. Thank you Preferred Plumbing for everything!! more

Not reliable 4/8/2015

Worst service ever and I gave them many chances to get it right. Used them before and even though they were about three hours late they came. Had a leak in my sink yesterday at 4:00pm and called for emergency services. Said they will have someone there in one hour. Two hours later called to say guy still finishing up job but will be there at 8:30pm. At 9:30pm received a call to say cannot make it until tomorrow. Appt. set for 5:00pm next day with many apologies and promised to be there. At 6:00pm today they called to say they have no one yet and not sure when someone can come out. By now I am mad. Spoke to manager and asked what business are they running? Why put in false ads to say will services EMERGENCY but cannot keep a scheduled apt.? All he can said was he has no one. Save your time and get someone else if you need reliable services. more

Some areas good, some not. 1/6/2015

Your cpy. came out twice within a week and both Vladim and Oscar were a "10". Wonderful rep.s of your cpy. I do think there is a disconnect between mgt. and your initial call center. It took me "five calls" to get a definition of available discounts, ultimately speaking to Mark in Concord, very professional. Why in the world don't your call ctr.s or dispatch know the current policy? You are also more expensive than other plumbers. Our cpy. has a similar name: Preferred Partnership Services, Inc. Check us out on Google RESPONSE FROM Preferred Plumbing & Drain: Thank you Tom for your comments. This helps us get better. Don't even bother calling if your looking for service on the weekend!! 9/14/2014

Don't even waste your time calling this place. I am a Property Manager who was promised a plumber between 1-3 and no one show's and at 4:30 your told someone will be there soon but is having car problem's.. and by 6:30 no call no show.. call the office to have the dispatcher cut me off an and transfer me to a guy who says a ahhhh yeah really no one is coming tonight!! Nice I waited 7.5 hours for you to tell me this ... mean while i have 2 residents with NO kitchen sink access!! Thanks for your help Preferred Pluming But this property management company will never be using you again!!! more

Unacceptable 6/4/2014

I called Preferred Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to respond the same day, which I am thankful for. Unfortunately the plumber did shoddy work. He did not replace the copper fitting that was leaking, but instead, replaced a PVC fitting, it leaked, so he put a bunch of glue in it and called it fixed. The plumber then blatantly lied to me saying that he had installed a new fitting, which he had not. He was there Saturday night for about 4 hours, came back Sunday morning for a few hours and even came back on Monday. After 3 attempts to fix it, he glued it and called it good. I then called and spoke to a supervisor, who was going to send another technician out to fix it, but before that, the original tech came back out asking what was wrong with it, all while being very rude to my wife. As of this review, issue is still not resolved. What's worse is he charged me $600 for the so-called repair. Not happy and will not call or recommend this company again. I would give zero stars but the review wont let me. more
