Water heather stopped working. Their technician Ivan suggested that the igniter needs to be replaced but they could not get the part because the distributor wouldn't sell them, and asked homeowner to call distributor. Then they wanted me to check on the warranty by calling the manufacturer. I have never had to do these, since repair companies generally check these themselves. After wasting my time a whole day, I fired them, still no hot water. Next day, I called another plumber, he checked for gas supply first, and found the gas-meter earthquake safety device was tripped and gas was shut. Reset, and fixed under a minute, and no charge. This shows how incompetent Preferred Plumbing employees are.

Mr. Pournia thank you for this information and I apologize for your poor experience. When we get this type of feed back it helps us get better. We make mistakes from time to time, but are always willing to make it right. I would like to offer you a free hour of service if you ever have another plumbing issue. We do have a 98 customer satisfaction rating, but again we do make mistakes. I will also get with Ivan to find out why he did not look at the gas supply first. thank you again Bryan Graves V.P.
