Thomas was on-time, diagnosed the problem immediately and set to work repairing a line that had flumoxed two previous plumbers. He was professional in every way, explained everything he was doing, and when finished checked to be sure everything was working properly before leaving. He cleaned up the area where he was working including replanting two plants he had had to gently dug up to get the work done. We recommend Preferred Plumbing without reservation if all their people are as proficient and considerate as Thomas!!! more

I can say that they are very good for sewer drain clean out. Fast, efficiant, friendly and at a very reasonable price. Beyond that I can't comment as not having used them for any other problem. more

Our plumber worked hard to fix the problem 10/9/2011

Initially they weren't able to come the day they were supposed to, due to some miscommunication. However when our Preferred Plumber did come, he reviewed my problem, and thought replacing the faucet set would be the best solution. He then went out and looked for the appropriate parts. When he couldn't find them, he ended up just coming up with a temporary solution. The expense (labor/time) was high for the solution he came up with, but his effort was appreciated. He even asked if there may be other plumbing issues, and helped me with another issues that wasn't part of the original work order. So good work, professional, a little more expensive than I anticipated. more

Overall had problems getting items fixed the first time but worked out. 10/5/2011

The first group of two employee's arrived a little late and then both took off to get an Allen wrench at Home Depo (which wasn't needed to take off kitchen faucet) and why it took two people to spend 45 minutes for a $3 tool is ?? finished sink and then replaced hose in MB toilet that was leaking.. Next day this was still leaking and a second employee came out that Friday and replaced inside equipment that caused the leak.. and started on pipe in wall to refer. that was leaking.. Third call and fourth was with excellent employee who corrected the earlier work on the first trip and finished the MB toilet with the correct internal parts that now work properly. Your company was very professional when i called to complain about the questionable repairs the first two trips and credited me. I would recommend you . more

drain cleaning and flapper replacement 10/5/2011

The service was quick and easy to access. The Tech arrived early and assessed the problem at hand. However, the Tech was on site from 12 to 5 pm. The Tech snaked 5 drains, replaced tank flapper and repaired leaking tank too. This Tech is thorough and detailed but enjoys sharing details of the job. However, if I want to spend so much time working on this problem, I would get my husband to do repairs and stand around with him. Thank you for you time. more

The plumber finally arrived at 7:00 p.m. I had a 3:00 p.m. appointment 10/3/2011

The plumber fixed the faucet and the hot water dispenser, but the repair only lasted a week. I plan to contact a different plumber in the future. Excellent Service 9/30/2011

It can be hard to find a good, honest, properly-priced plumber. This was my third time using Preferred Plumbing and once again they were quick, professional, didn't try to upsell anything (except their "drain clogging preventer"), and fair and reasonably priced. In fact, they may tend to undersell services thinking that "I could/should do it myself". Anyway, I have their number on my frig. and they are the only ones I would call. By the way, I have engaged some really over-priced, poor-quality work plumbers in the past - "big-name" plumbing outfits which seem to double and triple charge as they send out some 20 year kid who seems to be working his first job. Anyway, I highly recommend Preferred Plumbing. more

Excellent Service 9/30/2011

My eight month old puppy decided to chew off the safety valve on my toliet. I called Preferred Plumbing at 6:00PM, thinking I would be told they'd come out the next day, meaning I would have to take off work. I was told they'd be out within the hour. They were true to their word. The price was reasonable, the work was done expertly, and the quality was better than what I had before. I was so impressed that I will never use another plumber again. Great company!! more
