Went to Pool Town thinking that the pump had went bad because it wasn't operating correctly and when we explained it to Wally, he asked a few questions and made some suggestions to narrow down where the problem could be stemming from. It turned out that the first suggestion was the correct one. A simple replacement of the cover gasket did the trick! Thanks Wally, you know your stuff!! EG - Howell more

I love the service and professional attention I receive at Pool Town. My pool is always in perfect condition due to the help of the staff. I am always treated with respect even if I don't understand they take the time to explain things to me. A+ staff and products. more

I purchased a pool a few years back and have had many problems with the pumps and heater. The sales guy is great when its time to buy, but if any problems arise he is know where to be found. Bottom line is in my opinion the products used are inferior therefore costing me more in the long run with failure and down time in regard to pool use. The cost are thousands!!!! i would say upwards of 25% of the initial cost of the pool so making it not worth the attractive price to get a new pool from them. They will not stand by anything. more

Pooltown did a awesome job on our pool from start to finish!.the contractors and everyone at pool town kept us informed on evey detail of the construction! I will recommend them highly! more

Our inground pool is almost complete! They did a great job, but more importantly, the people were WONDERFUL!!! Both the office and workers on site were so nice and do great work. Every phone call (and text) was returned and any issue was resolved. They are a good group of people and treat you like family. I would highly recommend them! more

Pooltown of Howell NJ is one of the most disorganized companies I have ever had to deal with. When we decided to have a pool installed, we went with a bigger company and a more expensive pool hoping the quality and customer service would be better. We were totally wrong. Dawn in Pre construction told us misinformation multiple times causing delays in the process. The icing on the cake was when we were schedule to be back filled, the contractor Chester decided to take another job for the same day! That delayed our process for an additional 2 weeks! It left our yard a hazzard and eyesore! Dont forget about how the incidentals keep adding up!!! This pool is now costing over 30K!! We should have gone with the smaller company! I would not recommend pool town to anyone. more

Recently bought a $400 pool pump which worked for 3 days. I contacted the folks at pool town and was told there is nothing they can do. I could've bought the pump online through Amazon for $100 less but figured if anything was wrong I could simply go to Pooltown with any issues. Obviously not the case. Amazon or their pool affiliates would've shipped me a new pump no questions asked. more

They did a great job of listening to our needs and wants then creating that dream. Our pool is everything that we imagined and we cannot be more pleased with the outcome. more

We're not quite finshed, still have the plaster and heater to install. However, my experience so far with the NJ pool store has been wonderful. They keep me up to date on the next phase planned, leave the area clean after each phase and when they are here they WORK, no rest breaks. The men are polite and helpful, especially since I am handcapped, they help me with my dog and his "potty breaks.They seem to take great pride in getting the job done just right. In this day of lazy, sometimes sloppy, contractors, it is refreshing to work with a company who really cares. seriously. more

After shopping around for a pool at a few local places in Howell and Monmouth County, I decided to purchase my pool from Pooltown. After no time they set me up with the pool of my dreams and came back later and installed a hot tub! I am enjoying the warm weather now and we started swimming (with a heater of course!). more

Pool Town is a good pool supply store because they offer everything from installation, to opening and closing services to supplies. My problem with them is that their opening and closing charges are high and if you have a problem with the pool they ever send out the same person twice so every time a new person comes out and starts from scratch without knowing the history. Their store is good though. more
