Pool & Spa Depot

It's too bad I can't give them a 0 star review. We did a lot of looking around for a new pool liner and they used the same manufacturer as several other companies but claimed that their buying power allowed them to do liners for cheaper than anyone else. That's not quite true since several others offered us the same liner for the same price. But we assumed that since they were a big company we had someone to go to if there were any problems. As a result we put down a $1700 deposit on a $3400 liner for a 20x40 roman style pool. A week later a kid showed up to measure the pool, 7 hours after he said he would and at almost 8pm. He was here 5 minutes to measure the pool with our net. This is a ROMAN pool, that should require at least a dozen or more measurements to get it right. Then he demand an additional $150 as a measurement fee! On top of everything else. We refused and told him we were calling his manager, so he finally left. We spoke to Pool and Spa depot and they apologized saying that he should not have asked for the $150 and that he should have been there for at least an hour. They claimed that he already had multiple complaints so they pulled him from doing these measurements and would put him on on install crew. They said they would send someone else... but two week later we called and they said that they were just going to order the liner off the earlier measurements. We protested saying that it couldn't possibly be right, but they did it anyway. We made multiple calls checking on the liner as our pool has several leaks and is losing about 3/4 in of water per day, no one ever called us back. Finally we got a call back today, only to tell us that the manufacturer couldn't make our liner because it was measured wrong, DUH! So they want to send someone else back to restart this process from the beginning. They've offered us "maybe some store credit" by way of apology but said that it will be at least another before we get our liner maybe longer. I am writing this letter to express how thrilled we are about our inground pool from Pool and Spa Depot. The process has been very quick and easy. Each of your crews were quick, efficient, and very helpful through construction. We never felt alone in this process. Each question or concern we had was taken care of by Bob B. Bob fielded each one of our numerous phone calls. He always had an answer to our questions. He even made a quick trip to our house when I had a concern about the pump that could not be addressed over the phone. Over all, we are so pleased with the experience of working with Pool and Spa Depot. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know. I feel confident that they will continue to support us through maintaining our beautiful swimming pool for years to come. more

We purchased our onground pool in July 2009 and I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with our decision to go with your company. The actual construction was ahead of schedule and the crew did an outstanding job getting in and completing the set up. It was like watching little ants build a colony, they went straight to work, looked like everyone had their own tasks to complete. I don't think these guys took break the entire time they were building our pool. They were very courteous and respectful of our property and when they left they cleaned up everything. These guys had our pool ready for water by the end of the day. They did a great job and I thought you should know what an outstanding team you have putting these types of pools in. more

Our experience with Pool & Spa Depot began 4-25. My husband and I came into showroom, not really sure of what we wanted. We began talking with a sales person (Shawn). He was very polite, professional, & knowledgeable. He began showing us all the options in pools. And after alot of debate on our part and alot of patience on Shawn's part we decided on a 14x28 inground pool. Shawn worked very hard to make sure that I was pleased. He was very patient while walking us through, and helping us make all the decisions and changes that made this the perfect pool for us. We were then introduced to Bob, who sat down with us and explained in detail the construction & installation process. He went over the order in which everything would take place. All materials required, and who's responsibility they were. Bob was just a phone call away during the entire process. He even came out and started the pool up for us, and answered any questions we had. Cody and his crew came out on Mon. June 1st and began excavation. Cody was awesome! He and the rest of the guys were polite and professional. And didn't totally wreck my yard. They worked hard to make sure the pool site was just the way we wanted it. more

Coley and crew showed up on Tues. Coley is also Awesome! What can I say, these guys were the Bomb. By the end of the day Tues we had our pool. They came back on Wed. and finished the small stuff. It all happened so quickly, and they did an excellent job! Any problems that came up, and they were very few and minor, were addressed and corrected very promptly. It's now a week later, the concrete is done, pools full and water feels great. My family is loving it already. Thanks to everyone at Pool & Spa Depot for making this such a pleasant experience for us. more

Incredible customer service. I was trying to get an old spa up and running, they walked me through the full setup and explained how to do everything even though I had not bought the spa from them. I bought some plumbing bits from them to get everything setup and they threw in some sealer and glue that I would need for free! Their stuff is expensive, but its the kind of place I don't mind overpaying just to make sure they stay in business forever. more

I was asked if I would be willing to share with you about how we felt about our recent experience with your store. In a world filled with so many negative experiences, its only fair to share a good one! Recently my husband and I visited your store and inquired about purchasing a pool for our family. Not knowing a thing about owning a pool or how to maintain one, we were greeted with very knowledgeable and friendly sales people. From the moment we entered your store we were never "pressured" to look at or buy anything. When we approached Mark Matthews, a sales associate, he was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We returned a week later to purchase our pool and we were treated the same as our first visit. And, when the installation process began we were very impressed with how smoothly everything went. Digging began on a Saturday morning and was completed before noon. The installation process began on the following Tuesday morning and was finished by noon on Wednesday. Bob Bomar, sales manager, even came to our home twice during this process. Everyone was so kind and willing to answer all questions we've had. We have been very pleased with our entire experience with your company and we thank you for making such a big purchase for our family so easy!! more

They delivered my spa and set it up for me. Nicest people I have ever dealt with. Guy called me and told me they would be there at 4pm, they were there at 3:55. Scott was so helpful, I rescheduled 4 times, he worked with me to have a late delivery. Will buy again. People can learn a lot about customer service from them. more

Well, where do I start. I read the reviws on here like most people. Thought about looking online. Went to Pool and Spa Depot and was HOOKED in. The people there are really cool. After talking with them and seeing some of their OTHER customers (the ones that cry and whine and think they are more important than everybody in town) I noticed this place was not so bad. My wife and I bought a spa. A cheap one we could handle the payments on per month, but were still treated with respect. We got what we paid for and understand that nothing in life is free. We got what we paid for, and at a great price as well. more

I have to say I had a wonderful experience at Pool and Spa Depot. I actually started my hot tub searching at their local competitor. I actually purchased a hot tub from them and was given the run around. We decided to look at Pool and Spa Depot. No we were not greeted at the door however, we were greeted while looking at one of the tubs. The salesman was wonderful. He explained so much about the tubs all this was new to us their competitor did not explain any of the spa details. We told him we had purchased from the competitor and we were waiting on the competitor to call re: delivery of the purchased spa (DELAY). He was not pushy he wrote down info about the spas we were interested in and told us he would love to have our business. We were at the store on Sat we were told we could have the spa at our home Mon/Tue. We though everything over and ended up canceling our order from the competitor and bought from Pool and Spa Depot. The package was better plus I had a set date on when to expect the spa. It came the next Mon! The delivery boys were great set up the spa for us assembled the cover exc. The spa works wonderfully. I actually called the salesman back a few times and he was very helpful in explaining how to use the chemicals exc. more

We have bought MANY things from Pool and Spa Depot and have been pleased with everything. We purchased a hot tub/Spa at our old house, with no problem, I have a wonderful tanning bed that has been going strong now for 6 years, and we just purchased a 24 foot above ground swimming pool. They are awesome, the service is unbeatable! Call and talk to Bob or Steve, and IF you have a problem Michelle or Brent would be happy to solve it, they work hard at making everyone happy, they have definatly made me a very happy customer, I will always shop here. You can not go wrong with Pool and Spa, they are the best and that is why I only shop with them. more

I was very skeptical about buying a pool, but a friend had recommended me to Pool and Spa. I walk in and see a beautiful show room and am assisted immediatly. They are very dependable and have lived up to their reputation. Unfortunately, some people didnt read their contract or listen very well to the information given. You have to get your own electrician, they have pools and spas, not electricity. So do not be discouraged. Why go to Watsons when pool and spa has everything you need. more

I went pool shopping at pool & spa depot in Antioch last month and not only did I purchase a pool, which I am totally in love with:), but the salesman and service department were excellent. I had an excellent experience. The setup of pools and spas in the store, as well as the friendly and knowledgable staff was incredible. I plan on going back and purchasing a spa very soon. more

This is an awesome retailer. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to respond to problems. I can't believe Middle Tennessee is the only place that has them. We are very lucky!! more
