When I arrived the receptionist was on a personal call, did not get off and instead tapped a pen at me to sign in. There was not enough room to sit. However, the stylist was right...

Another Sensory Succuss! 8/13/2012

Thank you for being a sensory-friendly business! My 6-yr old has Sensory Integration Disorder & ADHD so you can imagine what a struggle getting a haircut is. The new online appointment process is good for us so I can make a notation of her needs. It is a bit pricey & the email coupons that you have to "remember to mention when you're at the register" are almost always forgotten when you have a kid running around the salon (printables would be better). more

My son has been going to Pigtails and Crewcuts for the past year and half and we have had the best experiences! He goes to one specific stylist every single month and loves to go. Anytime we pass by he asks to get his haircut. Great customer service and great with the kiddos! more

Awesome place 8/6/2012

We've taken our 2 girls (2 1/2 and 4) here several times and love it every time. The girls absolutely love it - even my 2 1/2 year old who will not let us touch her hair, but sits still and calm for these haircutters - makes like so much easier for us! They get suckers, glitter in their hair, braids when they're done - they even put glitter/braids in both girls hair when only one is actually getting a haircut. Highly recommend. more

My girls love this place! 7/26/2012

I have been taking my girls (now ages 6 and 3) to this salon for about 1 1/2 years. Both of my girls have the best time here and really enjoy getting their hair done! The owners and stylists are super friendly and honest. My three year old barely has any hair, but goes from time to time just to take of unruly hair that is growing out, and they don't even charge me for a full haircut for her. That is hard to find in this day and age! We are true Pigtails and Crewcuts fans! more

I've taken my young son here several times and they always do a great job. The stylists are friendly and try to put youngsters at ease. I only wish it was a little cheaper. more

I adore that Pigtails & Crewcuts caters to children and they ensure their staff loves kids! I do not need to worry if my son is too loud, or too much like a two-year old. Michelle has done a great job at soothing his fears and providing an excellent cut! more

Great Haircut place 7/23/2012

I love Pigtails & Crewcuts. They have excellent people working there and they do a great job on haircuts. They are very flexible and now you can make appts online so the store does't even have to be open. Even when my youngest was very afraid of getting his haircut they did everything they could to try and distract him and try and make it a pleasant experience. more

Hard to Handle! 7/22/2012

My 2 year old is horrible when it comes to getting his hair cut. I thought that all the wonderful things that Pigtails and Crewcuts has to offer would distract, but it didn't. He was a nightmare! However, the stylist was so patient and funny, and she did an AWESOME JOB, despite all the squirming and yelling! Totally worth the extra few dollars and I will definitley go back again and again. more

We've been to Pigtails & Crewcuts three times for my three-year old's haircuts. Each time, we've had fantastic stylists, been treated so kindly, and have gotten a great, fast cut for my son. He LOVES going there and thinks it's a fun play space for him. The stylists tell him what they're using on him or where they're going to trim before they do it, so there are no surprises. We're going to keep going here, even though it's pretty far from our house. Looking forward to the next visit! more

2 and 4 year old kids cuts 7/20/2012

We had a great experience at Pigtails and Crewcuts. The haircut, while expensive, was an enjoyable experience. My two year old has never sat through an entire haircut without having to be physically restrained. This was the first time he actually sat still and seemed to (almost) enjoy the cut :). My four year old had a great experience and loved getting sparkles in her hair! Great experience overall! more

Plum Distric Spa Day 7/14/2012

The staff was very friendly and personable. I think my daughters (9 and 10) were too old for the Plum District "Spa Day." We were expecting it to be more like a regular spa with pedicure chairs and manicure tables. One of the girls' nail polish smeared before she left because no top coat was used. I think the employees did the best they could with the less than adequate accomodations and supplies they had at their disposal. more
